A molt poca distància a peu del port d'Heraklion, el Marin Dream Hotel us ofereix un restaurant situat al terrat amb vista panoràmica sobre la fortalesa veneciana. Les seves habitacions disposen de balcó i accés gratuït a internet. El Marin Dream ofereix unes habitacions molt elegants amb terres de fusta. Totes tenen aire condicionat i estan equipades amb televisió per satèl·lit, caixa forta i minibar. Algunes tenen vista sobre el mar de Creta des del balcó. El restaurant Gazebo serveix cuina tradicional cretenca, preparada amb ingredients frescos. A la cafeteria hi trobareu cafès, tes aromàtics i dolços típics de la zona que us serviran en un elegant saló. A tan sols 100 metres, els clients disposen d'una estació d'autobusos que connecta amb la resta de la ciutat. L'aeroport internacional Nikos Kazantzakis està situat a 4 km del Marin Dream Hotel. Location, pool, room was nice and had a balcony. Touristy. Many smokers at the pool area, even during breakfast time.

very convenient location (major bus stop is down the road, 5min to the rest of crete..); comfy, quiet, spacious rooms, even the single ones. Breakfast room has fantastic views of the harbor.

It is located in a great place, everything is in a distance of 10 minutes- walking.The service was fine,the breakfast ok,it could be better though,in general I have nothing negative to say!I Trully enjoed my staying there!

The hotel was excellent. Everything we expected and more. The locality was superb. Our room was overlooking the harbour. The substantial breakfast provided was situated on the top floor, with a view of the port. The staff were very friendly and courteous. A most enjoyable stay.

It's located closely to the port, the bus station and the city center! We arrived heraklion at 9pm and easily reached the hotel by walk in 15min from the port, even though it's our first time in crete. The staffs were warm. The roof garden had beautiful view of the port and tasty food! There was strange and unpleasant smell in the bathroom during our stay.

I liked everything!!! The best deal so far. Requested high floor with balcony - had it! Staff extremely nice - was in the restaurant of the hotel one evening - the head waiter gave raki after dinner complimentary. I made friends with the waitress who was teaching some greek words during breakfast to everybody - always smiles. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. The location is just perfect- cant be better - near city centre, shopping, all nice fish tavernas, 5 minutes to bus station that takes you everywhere, 5 minutes to the port - ferries everywhere, 10 minutes from the airport. Just perfect!

We stayed here for one night before boarding the boat to Santorini in the morning - what a pleasant surprise! The room had a large balcony with a view over the harbor and was very modern, clean and tastefully designed. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet on the rooftop. In addition, the woman at the reception desk recommended a very nice restaurant for dinner.

Our experience with The Marin Dream Hotel was excellent from beginning until end. The Hotel is conveniently located close to the inter-city bus station and the port of Heraklion. Our room was ready when we arrived. We had dinner twice at the Rooftop restaurant and the breakfast buffet was the best we had in our entire month in Greece. Simply Excellent! The balcony was very small.

Location was so easy to find and walk to from the docks. Also, bus station is very near, so trip to Knossos Palace was convenient and inexpensive. A big surprise was that they noticed it was my husband's birthday as we checked in and, later, sent room service with a plate of fruit and bottle of wine. The delivery was first refused by us --- but then he checked his papers and pulled out a happy birthday message -- meant to be a total surprise. And it was. Every morning we had a great breakfast on the top floor --- with a view of the harbor. It was a very complete buffet and we felt added value to our stay there.

Overlooks Venetian port, steps from shopping and museums yet room virtually soundproof. Breakfast selection best we saw on 2 wk trip to Crete and view from all tables fantastic. Wifi in room worked, no problems. The bathroom and shower a bit small.

Awesome hotel, and far better than any others I've stayed at in Irakleio. Room was great, balcony was nice, internet was free, everything worked fine and I really have no complaints. The rooftop breakfast was beautiful in the morning too! Staff at the front desk were always very helpful, even helping me get a cot into my single so my friend could stay one night. Location might initially seem a tad out of the way to the uninitiated but it's awesomely close to the port/inter-city bus station and quite easy to get to the pedestrian streets. Thumbs up. Wifi is free in the lobby/rooftop and wired internet is free in the rooms (this is a big plus), but I didn't see a cord in the room so unless you bring your own, as I did, you may have to ask for one.

The breakfast room was not big enough to accomodate all guests. We had to wait for a free table - as we were in a hurry to check out this meant we did not really have any breakfast.

Unfortunately, the only positive remark we can make about this hotel is the location; handy to the port and restaurants .... reasonable walking distance. Room was very small for the money and grubby; particularly annoying was twin beds pushed together when we specifically requested double. The bathroom drain had a very bad smell. Breakfast was poor and the staff unhelpful and rude. Also no parking available, so you must pay to park at the port. Overall, very disappointing...don't bother to stay here.

Excellent position at walking distance of everything (historical centre, port, tavernas, bus station, ferry..) and yet very quiet. Lovely breakfast room on the top with view on Venetian harbour. Complete breakfast with plenty of choice.

As we stayed there already 2 weeks before, we were offered an upgrade to a bigger room with a magnificent view. Very friendly staff. It is not a budget hotel, but very good value for the price. Its situation is very good.
