Location, pool, room was nice and had a balcony.

Touristy. Many smokers at the pool area, even during breakfast time.

very convenient location (major bus stop is down the road, 5min to the rest of crete..); comfy, quiet, spacious rooms, even the single ones. Breakfast room has fantastic views of the harbor.

It is located in a great place, everything is in a distance of 10 minutes- walking.The service was fine,the breakfast ok,it could be better though,in general I have nothing negative to say!I Trully enjoed my staying there!

It's located closely to the port, the bus station and the city center! We arrived heraklion at 9pm and easily reached the hotel by walk in 15min from the port, even though it's our first time in crete. The staffs were warm. The roof garden had beautiful view of the port and tasty food!

There was strange and unpleasant smell in the bathroom during our stay.

I liked everything!!! The best deal so far. Requested high floor with balcony - had it! Staff extremely nice - was in the restaurant of the hotel one evening - the head waiter gave raki after dinner complimentary. I made friends with the waitress who was teaching some greek words during breakfast to everybody - always smiles. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. The location is just perfect- cant be better - near city centre, shopping, all nice fish tavernas, 5 minutes to bus station that takes you everywhere, 5 minutes to the port - ferries everywhere, 10 minutes from the airport. Just perfect!

The staff was friendly and courteous. The dining room food and beverages were very good.

Our experience with The Marin Dream Hotel was excellent from beginning until end. The Hotel is conveniently located close to the inter-city bus station and the port of Heraklion. Our room was ready when we arrived. We had dinner twice at the Rooftop restaurant and the breakfast buffet was the best we had in our entire month in Greece. Simply Excellent!

Overlooks Venetian port, steps from shopping and museums yet room virtually soundproof. Breakfast selection best we saw on 2 wk trip to Crete and view from all tables fantastic. Wifi in room worked, no problems.

The bathroom and shower a bit small.

Excellent staff. Very nice hotel. Excellent breakfast. No hassles whatsoever. I would stay here again.

Unfortunately, the only positive remark we can make about this hotel is the location; handy to the port and restaurants .... reasonable walking distance.

Room was very small for the money and grubby; particularly annoying was twin beds pushed together when we specifically requested double. The bathroom drain had a very bad smell. Breakfast was poor and the staff unhelpful and rude. Also no parking available, so you must pay to park at the port. Overall, very disappointing...don't bother to stay here.

As we stayed there already 2 weeks before, we were offered an upgrade to a bigger room with a magnificent view. Very friendly staff. It is not a budget hotel, but very good value for the price. Its situation is very good.

Excellent value for money. Very pleasant friendly staff. Very good breakfast. We had the best room in the hotel with great views.
