The room was clean, the staff friendly, the bathroom also nice and clean. There was a good view from the restaurant. the bed was a little too firm for us

The location was a good place for many varied eating experiences. Prices to fit all budgets Close to a Bus station for local trips i.e. Kinosses. Easy walk to the other Bus Station for further afield exploration. .LOCAL; WINE TOPLOU EXCELLENT. The narrow pavements, some had steps which could take you by surprise at night.

very friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable hotel - not ostentatious, but everything one needs. It's well located, close to port and shopping centre and bus stations (which is why I chose it). Above all - the restaurant and its magnificent view!

The location was great! Very near to Venetian Port and the ferry port terminal. Room was comfortable. We had to stay over in Heraklion for a night because we missed our connecting ferry. We were upset about it but the friendly staff managed to cheer us up! Overall was good and we would come back again!

Our room had a view of the harbour which was lovely. The location was good, close to bus terminal and ferries, and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Staff at the desk were very helpful. Breakfast was good.

Great breakfast and view over the Venetian harbour/fortress If renting a car street parking in the area is impossible, cark parks are expensive for overnight. Cannot leave the room's soundproofed door open at night because flight path from airport very closeby.

Location near bus station and near ferry terminus , and near main tourist shopping/ restaurant area. Room was good size and quiet. Bed and pillows too hard .

Excellent location, close to the ferry port, bus station and city center. Good breakfast on the top floor with a nice view over the Venetian harbour. Room and bathroom good size and clean. Weak wifi in my room. The view from my room on the second floor was not really worth the price difference with rooms without view.

The location was perfect for its proximity to the centre and the views from the restaurant excellent. Breakfast was ample and varied. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel does not look like much from the outside and our room was on the first floor and had noise from the road especially when the balcony door was open. The trees opposite obscured the beatiful views from the balcony.

We stayed at this hotel in 2010, liked it, and that is why we chose to stay there again in 2012. Very good location - 100 metres from the bus station where the buses depart for Knossos, the airport and the main towns in Crete. Very close to the museum, Heraklion town centre, and from the breakfast room there is a superb view of the harbour and the Venetian castle. Staff at reception very helpful and always pleasant.

It's bright, clean and very friendly. Service is quick and efficient and the breakfasts are very good. I love having breakfast in the Gazebo restaurant and being able to look out over the harbour. I always stay in Marin Dream when I pass through Heraklion.
