Staff were really helpful.
Hotel is in a bit of a dodgy area.
Nice big room had everything I needed. Clean. Free wifi. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was nice. Good value.
Location is a little dodgy - there are nicer areas of Athens. But the nicer places are not far away.
Booked a double room for a few € more, got twin beds. Could have asked to switch, to be fair, but couldn't be bothered. A bit annoying. Location was a bit un-central, but the room was clean and tidy, and the staff were helpful, and also mastered Spanish. Very nice for the price they offered!
Very friendly personal, clean rooms and nice Location
Very clean hotel, very helpful & knowledgable staff, hotel in a great location to get to all the main sights.
Our room for 4 people was cramped. All the beds were in a row with no room to walk around them. Wifi a bit slow.
Central location but a little gritty.
A nice, basic hotel for a very good price.
Everyone talks about the location/area being terrible but it's not that bad. Definitely not pretty but I didn't have a problems and it's within walking distance of the main city area (10-15 walk)
The reception looks very nice. The room is spacious and everything looks clean. The location is central and very close to Acropolis. Breakfast is really good with variety of options. Air-conditioner is good.
The design of the bathroom is weird. The water can leak out easily even when I closed the curtain. The surrounding area looks ugly, dirty and a bit unsafe at night (nothing happened though). We got there very early in the morning (6am) and were shocked how dirty the nearby streets were.
(1).We had confirmed booking much ahead of our arrival through Booking.com for a spacious Triple bed room. When we arrived at the reception, the staff informed that though we had booking, no Triple bed room was available. Rather than apologizing, he was trying to find fault in us that we need four bed, rather than Triple bed because I have two children, aged 10 and 3. I would like to inform that for the last six months we are travelling in Europe and everywhere we are booking Triple bed room as my the 3 year old baby sleeps with me and my wife. He kept us waiting for more than half and hour. Though he finally offered us two double bed room on the same floor, but not together, it was inconvenient with two young children because they can not sleep alone. Moreover, we were on leisure and wanted to stay together, that is why we book everywhere spacious triple bed room. After confirmed booking, if we do not turn up, you anyway charge us some penalty. When we did not get the room after confirmed booking, why you should not give us compensation for all the inconveniences, particularly with small kids? (2) Another issue was with laundry. I asked for help for laundry. The available staff suggested me one shop where I went and paid 20 euro for washing and drying for around 6 kg of cloths. Later on I realised, there was a community laundry nearby, who charges only 3.50 euro for 10 kg of clothes, washing and drying. This I found when I was looking at many pamphlets showing various trips around the city , kept at one corner of the reception, amongst which there was a pamphlet of that particular laundry shop too. I should not say, but it seems hotel staffs are running business within business. Because, to my surprise, the laundry shop didn’t ask my name to put the tag on clothes. Rather, they asked the name of the hotel.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was ok, location is good
The staff was very kind and friendly and open to help.We felt secure in that hotel. We like that they clean every day the room...Good value for this money.
Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Comfortable bed. Soundproofed rooms. Location in a quiet street close to Omonia metro station.
Great value, clean, well maintained hotel. Fantastic, helpful staff. Close to metro and attractions. Room was big, quiet with a great shower.
You must know that the neighborhood of the hotel is run down. There are no great views. Across is a building that is quite in disrepair. However, even at nighttime we felt save to walk around and back to the hotel.
The staff is very kind and will help you with anything. Location almost perfect cause it takes you 10 min walking to the city center. Rooms are clean and decent. Don't expect any luxury but it is still a very good choice if you are spending most of the time outside.
Some rooms definitely have problem with ventilation so it may happen that you find out that there is cigarette smell in the room.
The hotel is ok for one night stay. Breakfast was pretty good as well.
Antonis, The receptionist ,was very helpful. The room was very clean, good breakfast, you can go by foot to Acrópolis and city center
The neighborhood is not the best
At first the area looks scary but it is actually a very peacefull one. Coming into the hotel from the street, you suddenly get into another world - modern, light, cool, The rooms are spacious with very good free wi-fi. Breakfast is good enough b/n 7-10 o'clock. Very good airconditioning.
only one parking in the area but safe one
The staff was super! The food in the restaurant was delicious. The hotel was clean.
Sketchy part of town. The hotel itself is not air conditioned (the rooms are), and seemed stuffy. Not very pleasant sweating while waiting for my dinner in the restaurant. It was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in, and likely would not book this location again based on that alone. The Wifi only worked sometimes.
The staffs are really helpful with giving us information, the room was nice and clean, location is fine but surrundings seem not that safe.
Good staff, quiet place, nice breakfast. Happy to stay in this hotel.
The staff were helpful and friendly.
The room was called deluxe but was very basic.
Cleanliness, location, staff. Good value for money.
Painstakingly slow internet connection!
Although located in a very dodgy area (We didn't feel safe leaving the hotel in the evening) it was only a short walk or taxi to all the attractions.
Everyone we met in athens told us to be very careful in the area at night. Even our taxi driver said we shouldn't be walking around at night. The room was absolutely repulsive. There were three huge splattered stains on the floor that looked like bugs. The beds had broken springs. The room was full of Mosquitos. The back balcony opened to other balconies that really looked like you were staying in a slum. The wifi only worked if you sat at reception. He skirting board in our room was hanging loose. The room stank. The shower was dirty and had a dirty shower chair. THE PLACE WAS A NIGHTMARE.
