Very welcoming and helpful staff, great room and facilities, excellent location.

我们住的是最贵的那个洞穴房，位置真心好，看日落完全没有遮挡。整个装修也超级有味道，最喜欢在超大的阳台- 上晒太阳看风景了。

唯一的缺点就是大门上方有个天窗，完全没有遮挡，一早就超亮，光线照进来正对着大床，完全没法睡懒觉啊！

This hotel is absolutely the best place to view sunset in Oia. You can enjoy the sunset at the roof top with santo wine and without crowds of people. Marios and Yannis are the best! They are extremely friendly and generous, sharing the best to eat, to drink, to experience in Santorini. Most importantly they make you feel at home. I would highly recommend the honey moon suite, spacious, cozy, relax, beautiful view!

The hotel is at the most west point of Oia, so it has amazing views and you can see the beautyful sunset in your private balcony or on the top of the hotel. The servise provided by the boss and staffs of the hotel is excellent also. All in all, the experience in this hotel is unforgettable!

Everything is perfect.

This villa is located right at the end of Oia. The end where the sunsets! People usually would go to the castle which is 5 mins away from this villa to catch the sunset but we had to just go out to our balcony to enjoy the gorgeous moment privately! And when we look down from our room the view is of the famous Amoudi bay. At night you just would wanna sit at your balcony and watch the stars, cruise ships passing by and the moon. Surreal view from this villa! You can walk from this end of Oia to the other end in just 20 mins. Really scenic walk.

The wifi was intermittent.

The location was outstanding! Best hotel on the island! Will recommend Marizan Caves to all traveling to Greece. So romantic, best sunset on earth from the jacuzzi. You feel like royality with your wine and snacks and all the others in Oia are standing to your left on the large wall trying to get a glimpe that you have the best seat in the house to. I wish I was back now. Amazing place!

The owner Georgia booked our wine tour under a different name so we were not able to use our credit card we gave to her to book with we had to use another and incur more fees. That was a disappointment but not a big deal. I thought our balcony would be more private as well we could not enjoy time alone without other guests walking through our space. Bad location for Honeymoon suite.

It is a dreamlike place, and not only because of location. The owners are incredibly nice people who are doing their best to make your stay memorable. They thought of every little detail to make you feel like royalty. Great place to see the sunset The price we paid for the stay is not at all high if you consider the experience you get.

We were impressed with the personalized service of a hotel "John" and attributed his concern and to fulfill all of our needs. Provision of information and advice in everything, as well as his generosity and his family, his kindness and warmth. Certainly we highly recommend the place. The rooms were always clean. Fridge were always groceries and drinks and beyond what is required. Location is optimal in view of the famous Santorini sunsets. Highly recommended.

The location of the villas is excellent, it allows as to see the best sunset every night. The guy at the reception are very nice and friendly. He gave us a lot of information about the city and provide us all kind of service which really help us a lot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good location，perfect view，wonderful room and nice service

Marizan Caves & Villas is the best hotel in Oia of Santorini. It is not only because of the location, but also because the warmth and hospitality we received during our stay. John and Mario, the owners of the hotel gave us the most heartful care when we encountered emergencies. These aren’t just the people that we hope would be there for us in our time of need, these are the people we will immediately rush to assist if they ever find themselves in a time of need. We will definitely go back to Santorini and will most definitely stay in Marizan Caves & Villas again.

Great cosy studio cave, with clean and comfortable beds, toilets and mini kitchen and fridge. Excellent view of the Aegean Sea and sunset outside the balcony. Warm and friendly owner and service staff! Awesome breakfast - freshly baked bread, cheese, ham, fruits, juices, milk, coffee, etc!

The location is spectacular, and the host, Yiannis Marini puts in extra special effort to ensure that his guests are well cared for, including arranging to personally shuttle us home from dinner so we wouldn't be navigating a long, steep set of stairs from the coast to the cliffside location of the villas. Very fair price for the value!

What's not to like about heaven on earth?

This villa is at the quite north of island and near the windmill, and very stunning view with sunset! The owner are very helpful!The guy helped us to take luggages through countless steps and The owner was really nice and gave us warm hearted welcome! When we enjoyed the sunset, the owner gave us a homemade wine!Also gave us a map and told us which places are good to see in this island!we really enjoy 2 days in Marizan! The location is nearby main str in Oia! Highly recommended!!!

The Wifi is weak in our room!

Very nice location for the sunset , very helpful owner,very quite , we stayed there for 2 nights and have good memory in there, highly recommended.

Good sea view and sunset.The staff help us pick up the bagaage in the parking and also sent it also when we leave. You can find breakfirst in your refrigerator including juice ,milk,cheese,ham,and fruit.You can also recieved the fresh bread in the 8 am. If you find a good sunset sea view cave and private space ,you should come here even it's not cheap.

Bad wifi signal and the bath room a little simple , I think they should repair the toilet lid.

I will highly recommend Marizan Caves and Villas. My husband and I spent two days in the romantic caves in Marizan and it's definitely a life time experience. We can't be more satisfied with many things about this hotel, e.g. the excellent service, the best location in Oia for viewing the sunset, the cozy and tastefully decorated cave, fresh fruits, juice, milk, ham in the fridge for us to enjoy everyday....

Wonderful sunset view from the hotel, very helpful owner Mario, who has helped us a lot guiding us how to explore the most beauties of Oia, and recommended us the restaurant Skala(located on the cliff), which is the best we've ever tasted in Greece.

Georgia and her staff were wonderful! Very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was the perfect size for a short getaway and the view from the terrace was amazing. It was also an ideal location for those that want a quiet getaway.

The owner Janis and his beautiful Daughter Georgia were fantastic hosts, she recommended tours, dining & shopping plus took care of all bookings we asked for. The views of the volcano and sunsets from the balcony areas were spectacular and the caves are very comfortable. The use of the pool at the Hotel next door was an added bonus.

We couldn't stay longer!!!

We had spend 6 nights in Santorini. We wanted to explore the island and travel around, so we changed a few hotels. No matter how much days you stay on the island, you have to stay for a night in Oia and I would highly recommend Marizan Caves. We stayed at Honeymoon cave and enjoyed it greatly. It is not the easiest place to find, so if you have a chance to call in when you arrive, that will be the best. They help you with the luggage, because it is quite complicated to walk those stony narrow streets especially if you have a lot of luggage. The owner Marios greeted us and showed us around and explained what are the best places to eat and where should we walk to get to the center of Oia. It is about 15-20 min from the hotel to the bus stop. Our primarily goal to stay at Oia was of course to see the sunset. I read so many articles about it and reviews of travelers and I read reviews about 100 hotels in Oia (yes, just for one night) and based on all the reviews I chose Marizan Cave and we are very glad that I did. The place has something to it... it is very Oiash:) very very romantic, fresh and beautiful. There are villis along the stairs that come down and at first I got a little lost, but then I got used it. The room is huge and there is a kitchen area, where you can cook something if you like. There is a food in fridge for your breakfast (ham, cheese, yougurt, fruit) and you get warm (by time we got up, it was not warm of course:) bread, which was very tasty. There is a roof terrace with Jacuzzin on top where you can enjoy the best sunset view at the Caldera. There are many many people who come there to watch sunset and you will see them everywhere on roofs and edges of everything. We walked around Oia all day, making pictures and enjoying ourselves.

The excellent service, clean and beautiful cave rooms, accessibility to shopping and restaurants and most of all the beautiful sunset.
