This is a beautiful scenic mountainous area.
This is a beautiful scenic mountainous area. If you like hiking, boating, diving and grand vistas this is excellent. It's very quiet (I was here in October) and I recommend getting a car to visit local villages. Keri Village is amazing and there are some tricky roads and tracks to explore as well as some very high scary cliffs. As you drive towards the area from Laganas there are some jaw dropping views but you will need to concentrate on the hairpin bends. The pace of life is slow and I never got above 30 mph while driving around this area (the speed limit is 50 k/mh) but it didn't feel slow. I had a car for the week and it's easy to get around the whole island in a day with multiple stops. No real beaches as such but Laganas and Kalamki are fairly close if you want to laze on the sands.DuncanUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

Little far from Zante town, but nice scenery worth to visit. Beach perfect & extremely safe for young fellows, without jeopardize the scenery. You have Laganas bay and near by turtle island without mess on tourist traffic of Laganas or other areas with more massive tourists

Limni Keriou is a delightful, friendly seaside town about a forty minute scenic drive from the airport at Zakynthos. Although we stayed there as a couple, it would be equally suitable for a family with a safe beach to swim from and a large selection of boat trips to go on around the island. Although we didn't have time to take a boat trip many visitors were, the self drive boats were particularly popular with younger couples. We sampled two restaurants along the quayside serving good seafood at reasonable prices.

Beautiful and calm place to relax at if you are looking for peace and quiet, crystal clear, warm sea and good option of restaurants where our favourite one was definitely The Wave with such a lovely service and people working there. You also have a good option for car, bikes or boat rentals with no need for licence and also a boat trips where we saw sea turtles, caves and beautiful surroundings. We choose our boat trip with Captain’s where during our first trip weather suddenly changed so we managed to swim only at Marathonisi island but during the trip we didn’t see any turtles and couldn’t have also a swim as promised at the caves but company was so professional that they offer to all of us second trip next day completely free of charge and we obviously came back and accomplished whole trip in a beautiful weather and even saw a beautiful and cute sea turtles couple of times during this trip!!! A rural location that is away from the normal mass tourism...
A rural location that is away from the normal mass tourism resorts. A hire car is essential to get around - you then have access to many restaurants and beaches. Kerry Lighthouse restaurant well worth a visit for excellent food and incredible views, as well as the biggest Greek flag in the world. Kerry Beach and Marathonisi beach are well worth visiting

Granddaughter helped out and speaks very good English. Super friendly family. Studio/room was large and has a fridge, musquito nets on the windows, very important in the evening! The very nice, quiet (pebble) beach is down the street, the sea has very clear water and the harbour is a 5 minute walk. The whole place is quite idyllic, I found. Also from the harbour nice boat tours to the turtles and the Marathon beach.

My wife and daughter and I had everything we were looking for: space, comfort, cleanliness, amenities and beach within easy reach, diving, excursions. Turtles are at home here too! The host family was most gracious and very nice. It was our first (and will not be our last) time in Zakynthos. We drove around the island, which was beautiful, but we were always happy to come home every night, from the first day to the last. Thanks to Anna, her husband and son. Precious people

Some very nice restaurants within walking distance, overlooking the sea. We had a delicious dinner at Taverna Keri and a very tasty breakfast at Rock Cafe. Rock Cafe also have a very good cocktail menu, but we didn't sample it as we were there at 10am and hitting the road. Both are good options for food at least and very close to the apartment. The apartment is in a nice quiet location and was good value for money.

Since it's high up u get amazing sunrises. you should get a car. they have great them nights almost every night. dont miss the greek night.

The Villa was as described in photos, we had everything we needed and the balcony was the perfect place to have a coffee in the morning. The place is really close to the beach and mini-markets. We loved that we had lots of beautiful places to eat nearby. I would recommend renting a car. Dimitris was more than helpful throughout and even before the trip. We really felt like everything was gonna be perfect for our group. Thank you again!!

The villa is quiet and secluded yet only 10 minutes drive from the nearest beach. It has everything you need and it was meticulously cleaned prior to our arrival. The small pool (which is actually a big jacuzzi) was great for casual dipping with our 3 year-old. The view from the villa is stunning. Can't recommend Arca villa enough.

For more choice of meals, I would recommend the Skaltsas Tavern located 300m away, in the direction opposite the Keri Beach (now Keri Beach is a disappointment!). There were coffee shops, small restaurants and supermarkets right next to Villa Miranda and the beach was 300m away! Wifi was ok (not always a good reception though). Free parking was available. Definitely recommended.
