Beautiful Sea view room and very clean, close to the Athens airport and near to the port of Rafina, this is very important for me and my friends. The staff is very friendly and helpfull, breakfast is really good, of course the next time we will visit it again!!
Hotel is comfortable, staff friendly. Nicely positioned right by the sea ; lovely views!
Location and room
having to log into wifi repeatedly.
We had a great night at Maiti. We stayed here after coming in off of the Ferry to Rafina and then took off for the airport via private car transportation that the hotel arranged! Our room looked out over the sea and had the feel of being on ship!!
Everything!!!! It seems to be at home. The restaurant is beautiful and the quality of food and service are great! The breakfast is in front of the sea! They were so kindly with us!!! We come back next year!!!!
Our room was right at the back of the hotel with a nice view of the water/beach. The receptionist that was there when we checked in was very nice and tried to be as helpful as possible, getting us transport to the airport. I booked a hotel in this area because my husband and I were traveling back from Mykonos and had to get to the airport the next morning for a flight home. We stayed in this area as opposed to closer to Athens city center expecting it would work out to be cheaper and closer to the airport. It was NOT any cheaper, and the area was not as nice. If I could do it over again knowing this, I would have taken a ferry back to Pireas port and stayed in Athens where it was nice, cheaper, and more options available.
The hotel felt very dated and old. The beds were not very comfortable, and did not feel as clean as I would have liked.
great views comfortable rooms friendly & helpful staff good value
location of shower head, at higher water pressure the head rotated upwards and sprayed water over the shower curtain. the shower head holder should be moved or just tighten down to prevent the movement
Wifi was the best thing about this hotel
Bathroom was moldy and last guests rubbish left behind. Receptionist smoking indoors only meters from the buffet where guests are eating. Food was horrible, dessert had a layer of crust suggesting it was cooked a month ago. There was a wedding at the hotel so music kept us awake until very late in the night. Room is furnished with very old appliances. Overall I did not enjoy this "4 star" hotel at all and I will not be back nor would I recommend to anyone. False advertising.. Not 4 star at all
Although it is quite a distance from the airport this hotel would be perfect for a few days of relaxation. We got in late. The front desk clerk was ready to speak to our taxi driver about a possible overcharge and got us a shuttle to airport in am. She upgraded us to a corner room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Beautiful. We missed breakfast in am but staff had made us sandwiches and a dessert to take with us. Very good service. And there is an elevator!!
Lovely hotel. Has an amazing view at sunset and sunrise. Lovely breakfast. Hosts are really lovely and do is the hotel taxi driver. We arranged an airport pick up and all went smoothly. Close to Rafina Port so was handy to get our ferry in the morning.
Bathroom looked a bit run down. TV was very old and didn't work. Safe was broken.
- Good value for money. We had a 15 hour transit in Athens and this was excellent value (even incl. 60 euro round trip cab ride from airport) and felt like we were extending holiday - Rooms had balcony, view on the sea - V welcoming staff, esp. lady who made sure we had a cot for our baby
Great views and comfortable bed
Tired interior needs upgrading
Close to Airport, on the beach, pool, awesome room! Great location for pre-flight hotel.
Lots of vacant/abandoned properties in this area.
We started our individual trip here and ended. The room was very comfortable with a lovely sea view. The breakfast and dinner was very good. But our stay was made great by the staff. Very friendly and would do anything for you!
The area of Mati is a little run down and very focused on the Greeks, which is not a big problem but sometimes makes you feel a bit of an outsider.
First of all, my view was astonishing. I got a corner room on the 4th floor, so my balcony overlooked the sea. For the good quality of a room that I got, the price was surprisingly cheap. I also appreciated the staff. They were amazingly kind to me, especially since I was a girl alone in Athens..they definitely exemplified that famous Greek "philoxenia!" I was very pleasantly surprised at my wonderful accommodations, especially since I had heard horror stories about Greek hotels from friends. Definitely would stay here again in a heartbeat, if I make it back to Athens :)
The location is a little obscure. My first cab driver got lost for two hours trying to find the place. However, I think the hotel's recently posted a map on their website, which makes the location a little clearer. Also, if you're looking to travel outside the area, you should probably have a car or taxi...the nearest bus stop was a 15 minute walk away, and that bus stop is only the first of many stops you'll have to take to get to Athens' center. However, if you're looking for a beautiful and relaxing stay on the coast of Attica, it's perfect. The pros of this hotel definitely outweigh the few cons :)
The staff was excellent and very helpful
Beautiful and clean room with a great view, really the view of the room was fantastic!! The reception and all staff was very helpful, friendly and and smiling , nice swimming pool area. Close to the port of Rafina and near the airport.
We stayed on a Friday night and checked out on the Saturday as the nearby nightclub played music till 2.30am. Generally noisy hotel. Our room was dusty despite staying in it in July.
Nice design of lobby and pool area, helpful staff, see view.
Quite clean inside the room. Staff is friendly but with no training. Nice view of the sea Nice swimming pool Quiet area but I don't think it is very safe. 15-20 min to airport by taxi (30 Euros) 20-30 minutes to airport by bus (8 euros taxi to nearest town + 3 euros per person bus fare) 40-60 minutes by bus to the center of Athens. (3 euros bus fare and 4 euros per day for the metro pass)
Far from the center. Dated furniture. Dirty lobby. Actually sticky sofas. Staff has no etiquette... like most of the rest of Greece. Breakfast included is helpful but is not impressive at all. Taxi drivers are mostly a bunch of crooks. Get GPS on your phone.
I had to cancel at the last minute because we missed our flight, and even though I had a non refundable reservation, they only charged me 25 euros instead of the full nights fee.
Very good and professional personal. Thanks to all! The hotel is near the sea-the first line, but the beach is very small. The hotel is good for 1-2 day staying.
The rooms are not in good condition. Not very good smell in the room. The prices at the bar is high (for example - local beer in the bottle (0,5) is 5 euro.
The view from the room was great!
The hotel entry was fully parked with cars such as we could not walk out
