Matina Hotel  

The hotel location is the best possible , 2 minutes walk from the city center , restaurants , bars and shops , yet very quiet . The hotel is well maintained and surrounded with a beautiful garden. The room was specious and had a very nice balcony. The team and management are very helpfull and friendly . If we ever come back to Mykonos , this will probably be our choice of accomodation .

What can I say, part of our pleasant stay in Mykonos was due to this Hotel. Is just a few blocks from the old port (downtown) and far from the noisy pubs, which is good if you like to sleep quite at night. The staff and the owner had and excellent predisposition. The hotel is more like a private small neighborhood with a beautiful garden communicating all rooms. Our room was ample and had a balcony (guess all rooms had balcony). The breakfast was incredibly good, and among the amenities they had free internet both in the lobby and wiffi in the rooms. You can have the key with you so you can enter and leave at any time.

This isn't a complaint but a warn of advice or those who go on autumn when the weather is slightly colder. Before picking a room, they showed us two possible rooms and said that one was hit by sunlight (thus warmer without need of air conditioner) and the other (slightly bigger) was not. We choose the bigger which indeed was chilly but amenably with the and conditioner. The temperature may vary between day and night so choose in terms of your likes.

Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet garden setting yet located in the middle of mykonos hora. Easy to walk around the town and return to the hotel for downtime/siesta time.

Excellent staff, lovely hotel in a small garden on the edge of the main part of Mykonos. Nice and quiet, but a 5 min walk from everything, we were very pleased.

The service from the entire staff was outstanding and they could not do more for us .Thank you

The staff were absolutely fantastic. They were always helpful and friendly. Perfect location. In a quiet area but close to the shops and the buses to get to the beach. Walking distance to evrything!!!

The hotel staff is absolutely amazing and certainly go out of their way to make your stay and visit in Mykonos the best it can possibly be. Have tea with Yannis everyday and chat with Lidia to learn all the great spots in Mykonos!

The staff of the hotel was absolutely fantastic! I felt immediately at home when I arrived. The owner of the hotel - Yannis - was very friendly and helpful. Also, the hotel has a great location - just a few steps off the main street, and yet in a very quiet place. It also has a lovely garden. The hotel is absolutely value for money!

De vriendelijkheid waarmee we werden ontvangen, 3 uur voor afgesproken tijd!. De hulpvaardigheid. Dan de locatie, kleinschalig, midden in het stadje Mykonos, in een hele mooie en goed onderhouden tuin. Wij waren blij verrast! De eigenaar is een zeer goed gastheer! Zijn personeel straalt dit ook uit! Verder een goed bed, en een TV die ook afgesteld is op engelstalige zenders, ook al kwamen we daar niet voor, toch heel prettig! We beseffen dat wij in oktober boffen met de prijs!

Très bien situé, à l'écart des clubs. Personnel très acceuillant et disponible. Joli jardin. Propriétaire très gentil, et se débrouille bien en français!

Nous avions demandé un lit double et nous avons finalement eu une chambre triple, mais avec trois lits simple... Ils ont toutefois été en mesure de nous offrir une chambre quadruple pour le lendemain, sans frais supplémentaire et avec deux lits doubles!
