Medieval Castle is a complex consisting of accommodation scattered within Mesta, a medieval village on the island of Chios. Your stay in any of these will certainly be a memorable experience. This village is lively and has been continually inhabited since the Middle Ages.

Mesta, where the Medieval Castle accommodations are, is one of the best-preserved medieval villages in the south of Chios, where the mastiha trees grow. The village was established by the merging of smaller Byzantine settlements (14 to 15th century ) during the period when the Genoese dominated Chios.

Adam Family with young children WHITESTONE, United States of America September 3, 2009	Fantastic! The service was excelent, the rooms are very nice the town is very interesting. Great trails in the mountain side and great beaches (must have a car). I loved the fact that we can leave our kids and they can run around town with no trafic. Locals are very friendly. The breakfast was kind of poor for the price. But they are building their own breakfas area.	10
