The location and view from our balcony Unhelpful and unprofessional staff. Most times staff would be arguing with one another in the presence of their guests. 7 hour delay in check in and horrible breakfast. After traveling to quite a few Greek islands I would say that our stay at this hotel was by far the worst which is a shame considering it's beautiful location and lovely appearance from the street. Being on holidays we would have turned a blind eye to all the negatives however because we felt unwelcomed from the get go it was only right that we provide an accurate description of our experience

Nothing special it is a below average hotel Internet is chargeable at a rate of 18€ per day. Although the room service is 24hrs the only thing that you can get are drinks and coffees as their kitchen is closed most hours of the day. Initially they couldn't find my reservation so I went to a public printer and I print the voucher. The staff is not that helpful. The mini bar had only water, juice and sodas at high prices. The heating of the room during the night is not adequate. The furniture are old and the decoration of the room is poor and awful. Overall was a 3 star hotel.

Some rooms have sea sight. Old accomodations. The unique lift does not fit the number of guests which causes long waiting time. Unkind staff. Wifi in the room is paid and very expensive. Very tight, old, and dark bathroom. Unfamiliar environment: most of the guests looks strange, maybe due to being in the vicinity of the casino.

I live in the south if the Island and this hotel is perfect for an overnight stay - taking away the hassle of driving back .. I stayed last year at this time as it is my birthday. This time was enjoyable as ever and the standards remain however I would like to comment that having War injured wallking around the hotel and specifcally in the bar took the quiet relaxation I had expected away for me. I appreciate the need for comfort following medical treatment but perhaps I should have been informed prior to coming enabling me to make a decision regarding my stay.

Great location, opposite the beach and we liked the view. The meals we had were great especially one evening meal which was a good price for the amount though the menu was set. We would have liked a pick up and drop off from the airport, would have made it less stressful for non greek speaking people.

Excellent location opposite the beach and easy walking distance to harbour, Old Town, restaurants and shops. Staff are very courteous and professional. Bar area and lobby are particularly spacious and pleasant; service is very good; bar snacks are complimentary. Room had balcony with outstanding views over the sea and harbour. Great value for money. Very pleasant and spacious lobby area with free wifi access.

Location!! View The Business Centre The breakfasts were good but lacked in variety for a stay of 4 nights. There is only one small, slow elevator for the large number of rooms. No ice machine available.

Pretty nice clean hotel, with a partial sea view. The staff was helpful, during my short stay there. Some things were a bit overpriced. Ok, mini-bar items are always expensive, but in this case, they did have some sky-high prices. Same thing with the wi-fi. 18 euros per day, on a country that has broadband connections for 13 euro per month, can' t be called logical. But apart, from such small details, everything else, was spot on.

The hotel is classified Superior, which is appropriate, and is very comfortable in an older European style. It faces on a fine pebbled beach on the northern tip of Rhodes, a short cab ride (5-7 Euros) to Rhodes Old Town. The breakfast buffet is excellent; there are numerous reasonably priced, quality restaurants nearby, as well as the Casino Rodos. The rooms are very good sized and comfortable, slightly worn and certainly not deluxe. Staff is very accommodating and pleasant--items missing from room were promptly supplied. Despite charging for internet access, hotel offered a very good value for our early booking, and is recommended for a stay on Rhodes in this class of hotel. 1.The hotel has one main elevator, insufficient for its size. We were on the top (6th floor) and we walked down several times rather than wait. 2. The hotel's rental car are offered rom what appears to be an independent car rental office next door (Exotic)--the rental rates were markedly higher than can be had elsewhere nearby from companies such as Budget, who deliver cars to the hotel (50 Euros Budget, 61+ Euros @ Exotic). The rental car from Exotic was very small and its air conditioning quit, so had to be replaced the next day.

Excellent location, very good buffet breakfast, Staff too stiff for vacation, not offering help, they answer to the point. Rooms very small, opposite of luxury. Partial seaview is partly true as you overlook a ruined building and if you look really to the side you will see the sea. But sitting in the balcony will allow you only to see the ruined building.

It's relatively close to the old city of Rhodes.....about a 10 minute walk. Sea view off our balcony is great. Breakfast is pretty good. Nice staff, clean, nice rooms. They didn't have much fruit for breakfast.......they had plenty of everything else......eggs, meat, bread, Greek-style sweet cakes, yogurt, cereal, cheeses, etc, etc, but no fresh fruit like oranges, peaches, bananas, apples. Only prunes and raisens. Kind of a minor thing.....otherwise the hotel was great!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mediterranean Hotel. We found Rhodes to be a stunning holiday location!!! For us the location was fabulous. As a family of four beach lovers, we enjoyed being directly across the road from such a stunning beach! On our walks we noticed that most other sections of beach were exposed to quite strong winds but the easterly aspect of the hotel's beach kept it protected from the wind and lovely. It was only a short, pleasant stroll (about 15 mins) to the Old Town and there were also plenty of restaurants and shops within a couple of minutes walk of the hotel as well. Breakfasts were very good and the spaciousness of the foyer area gave it a good feel. We appreciated being able to leave our bags at the hotel for a few hours after checkout and being able to use the hotel facilities (incl shower) during this time as well. Views from hotel room's balcony were wonderful!!! The hotel rooms seemed to be a little bit old and tired but still represented good value for money. The air conditioning did not seem to be particularly effective (we chose to leave our balcony door ajar for coolness instead.) Also, we were quite taken aback when we were surfing through the television channels looking for an English speaking one, and were confronted with an extremely pornographic channel with no prior warning!

The location is brilliant, and the staff are helpful and polite. The hotel is kept immaculate, very impressed with that. Absolute great value for money. There is also free wifi and free internet and free printing. This is my second time at the hotel, and the third time for my friends that I was travelling with. They have a history of repeat business, so they must be doing something right.

“The hotel was placed on a main street near the Palace however, the hotel was very peaceful and quiet. We stayed in the Grand Master Emery Suite which had a wonderful private terrace with fantastic views of the old town and port/harbour - also a real sun trap. The suite included a luxury bathroom and small kitchenette and all was very clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was excellent served in the shaded courtyard. We enjoyed a very relaxing week's holididay and would highly recommend the Nikos Takis Fashion Hotel.” Teresa, Southsea |
