Personell were nice and kind, especially at the reseption they helped us very much. Rooms and breakfast was ok.
Not everybody could talk English among the personell. ıt would be much better if there will be some soft live music in the evenings at the lobby bar.
On arrival, the reception staff were very welcoming and helpful.
Hotel reception staff very helpful, rooms cleaned daily. Good choice at breakfast. Would recommend the hotel.
The only downside was the noise from the traffic - but after a couple of days we did get used to it.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming - the breakfast staff especially were excellent - remembering our drinks order from the day before particularly impressed us. The location is fantastic - just over the road from the beach, free parking all along the front, just a few minutes walk from the harbour, the old town, the new town, Starbucks, and some excellent restaurants (try Nisos just down the street for the best food and friendliest servers, and Victorias just a little further along the street was also excellent). Even though we did not have a room facing the sea, the view from the back was agreeable, and the room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent - loads of choice and great service. All in all, very happy with our choice and would highly recommend!! :) :)
The only disappointments was firstly that the shower was very weak. Also, the pillows were really hard - and the extra pillow was super soft. Aside from this, we would undoubtedly stay again if we come back to Rhodes so don't let these tiny negatives put you off an overall excellent hotel!!
Kindness of our Greek neighbours....
Everthing was perfect altough being on an Island ...
The room was spacious. The breakfast was very good. The restaurant team is very friendly. The location of the hotel is very convenient and has direct access to the beach but you have to pay 4Euros per person for the sunbed.
The bathroom needs renovation. It was impossible to stop the air conditioner in the room and it was noisy. Our room was looking to the wall of the hotel building with limited light and no view and the size of the balcony was smaller than the other rooms although we paid for a room with a view. The price/service ratio is below my expectations.
Location fantastic Upgraded 2nd night to jnr suite Breakfast nice Bar staff very nice Great pool very clean
Got downgraded first night garden rooms are a box no space at all, dinner terrible don't purchase Half board restaurant staff quite rude, we left coolers in fridge and lost them when they moved us
Location Friendly helpful staff Good furnishings Good value for money
Bath was a bit small
comfortable hotel, good localization, very closed seaside, wonderful beach and good people
Location - very handy
Perfect location ; (in front of the beach, near old city, near good restaurant ...)
Close to the beach, good breakfast.
Very old hotel. Needs to be refurbished. Staff should be more polished and professional for a four star hotel.
The location of the hotel is excellent, food extraordinary, very helpful staff :-)
Close proximity to beach and old town.
That there is not free Wi Fi in the rooms, which was inconvenient. For the price, one would expect free Wi Fi to be provided.
location proximity to the sea cleanliness
reception staff had an attitude and acted as they were making me a favour, catering staff were not attentive enough, getting coffee was intially a challenge
Location, air conditioning, view, breakfast
ugly smell on 6th floor corridor, single elevator
The Hotel is located nearby the beach. The city center is 10 minutes away on foot. The rooms are as expected.
There is only one elevator to go to 6 floors and it is boring to wait for elevator in busy times.
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS HOTEL IS FIRST CLASS
Not a kind staff
The location is the only good thing i can tell about this hotel.
The staff is rude and snob, the breakfast is poor, no wifi connection in the room, only around reception. It honestly does not deserve being a 4star hotel.
Pricing in general
Dated rooms, grubby bath, no security on door, dated decor
the location was perfect, right across the road from q beautiful beach, 15 minute to old town and castle.
staff weren't very informative. Did not think it was very good you could access a porn channel on the normal tv... (once you click on it you have to pay for it) but what if a young child was flicking through the channels??
Awful! I arrived at this hotel with a beach balcony room confirmed only to be seen to a box room facing what they called 'garden view' I would love to paste a picture here of this view. Let's just say not a green plant in site. And facing directly at a derilick building. I immediately went to reception to be told I didn't have a choice but to speak to the Manager the next day at 930. At 11pm I did not have a choice. The next day arrived and there was no manager there I went back 8 times to be greeted by rude staff and horrible looks. At 4pm I was told that he would be there at 630pm and guess what he didn't arrive! At this stage I was fuming I was travelling alone for the first holiday in 4 years and all I wanted was a beach View to watch the sun go down. I got on the phone to booking.com and they contacted the hotel only to have the phone hung up on them! This was all very upsetting they were ruining my holiday as I was only there for 5 nights and was dreading walking past reception as I felt they were laughing at me. Eventually the third night they changed my room as booking.com sent them a very harsh email with a deadline that they had to get back to them by. The lady on the phone from Booking.com was wonderful and sympathetic which I really appreciated. After the problem with the room was sorted the staff appeared nicer but I can't help but feel that they got a telling off which was appropriate. Do not go to this hotel! If you have some extra cash I would recommend Casino Rodos next door for 600 Euro place is beautiful.
