Conveniently located in the capital of Ios, Hotel Mediterraneo consists of air-conditioned rooms with furnished balconies overlooking the pool and the town. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi in its public areas. Simply decorated, the rooms of the hotel come with TV and fridge and all have private bathrooms. Continental breakfast can be served at the bar or in the room and guests can also enjoy a coffee or a drink at the pool bar. Hotel features BBQ facilities. Very happy with stay here. Owners are lovely people and are very accommodatiing. Would definitely recommend this play to others to stay and would love to come back and stay. This was my best accommodation in all of Europe. Thank you for the lovely time Hotel Mediterraneo.

The location of the hotel is perfect , bus stop is right outside , the village is a couple of minutes walk away , the hotel has a great pool on site bar and resturant , but most of all was the warm and friendly welcome I received from the moment I was picked up at the port to when I was dropped off again 3 days later , nothing was to much trouble great recommendations for local beaches, resturants , sightseeing etc . Top marks all round , fantastic !!!

The warm welcome and hospitality of owners Salvatore and Stephanie who made you feel like you were a guest in their home. The hotel rooms, grounds, pool were outstanding in terms of a relaxing and almost spa like feeling. Stephanie's home made authentic Italian dinners were simply amazing and dining pool side with the night time views of Chora was wonderful. By the end of stay we became very good friends with not only Salvatore and Stephanie but other guest who found the relaxing atmosphere conducive to meeting other world travelers. Close proximity to old town (Chora) and the bus stop to the local beach was ideal.

every thing was just amazing.... the location the pool the room the bar and the best thing was the friendly service from the the owners Sal and Stephania who really made our trip thanks heaps guys......but no more shots for us Sal hahaha we had a blast

Could not be more happy with this hotel. The location is perfect - across the road from the village and all the clubs and bus stop right out front which takes you straight to the beach and the beach clubs. Has a great bar with great food and drinks, served by the best bar tender in town. Owners Salvatore and Stefania could not be more hospitable and certainly made or trip what it was. I recommend Hotel Mediterraneo to all.

We had a fantastic stay;) don't believe what u read or hear about Greece. Go to Greece and see for urself. Greeks don't want ur pity just to enjoy urself. Hotel Mediterraneo was the best location with a beautiful view. Very close to bars and clubs well to everything. The owners are so nice especially their dog nana;) if u travel to iso Check out this hotel out and stay, it's worth your money! Go to the bar and have some interesting shots made by the owner. Fun experience. This hotel was by far the best in what I saw.

La posizione dell'hotel è perfetta, cè la piscina e se cè vento e non si puo' andare in spiaggia è lideale, i cocktails sono eccezionali e cè l'esclusiva dello jagerito. Lo staff è molto cordiale

Le Mediterraneo est l'hôtel avec piscine le mieux situé dans Ios. C'est un écrin de calme et de relaxation au coeur de la ville avec toute l'animation/restos/bars. La piscine est magnifique est très grande. Il y a un bar où l'on peut commander à boire et à manger. De multiples aménagement assez designs autour de la piscine (hamacs, transats, lits, fauteuils) permettent de se relaxer tranquillement. Enfin le couple italien qui gère l'hôtel est très sympa et nous a accompagné au port.

Stefana and her family are very welcoming and lovely. The location is perfect and you wont get more central than that in Ios. Had a great time and will stay there again. bedding/pillows were very old and uncomfortable

Hotel ubicado a cinco minutos del centro de Chora. Ubicación perfecta. Si no quieres alquilar moto, justo en la puerta del hotel está la parada de autobús que te lleva a las playas más turísticas. Desde el hotel puedes llegar en un momento a los restaurantes más notables en Chora, así como a los lugares de alterne más comunes. La habitación que tuvimos disponía de una terraza con una vista a la Village (Chora) donde podías relajarte cuando el viento lo permitía y disfrutar del pueblo o de la piscina del hotel. Los dueños, Salvatore y Stefania, son muy amables. Nos vinieron a buscar al puerto de Ios y nos volvieron a llevar a su debido momento. En la piscina hay un bar muy bonito con amacas, mesas y diferentes zonas de relax donde Salvatore prepara buenos cócteles para que los disfrutes mientras te relajas. Uno de las cosas que más nos ha gustado del hotel es que durante todo el día hay música de fondo. La cama de la habitación eran dos camas individuales juntas, aunque eso sí con unas sábanas de cama de matrimonio. La comodidad de la cama es pésima, es un punto que nos ha decipcionado bastante dado que ningún comentario hacía mención de este punto. La cama, no permitía descanso alguno dado que el colchón estaba hundido además de ser, independientemente de este hecho, uno de los más incómodos que hemos probado en nuestra vida. El desayuno era muy pobre. Zumo de naranja, melocotón o piña con cuatro tostadas de pan con mantequilla y un café que era lo mejor de todo el desayuno.

Pour un séjour en centre ville d'Ios, l'emplacement de l'hôtel est juste idéal, situé au pied de la place principale (belle vue sur le centre ville depuis la terrasse) et des arrêts de bus, proximité des bars et restaurants à pied. Malheureusement tout est dans l'emplacement même si le personnel est disponible. Prix top élevé au regard du confort général de l'hôtel malgré la mise en avant d'une grande piscine extérieur pour séduire les clients . Tout est donc dans la piscine et l'emplacement, le reste est insatisfaisant: taille des chambres, propreté, confort des chambres (demandant une chambre double nous avons hérité d'une chambre triple avec type lit de camp), et surtout non fonctionnalité de la SDB et diffultés d'usages (il ne faut pas être claustrophobe), donc problèmatique pour nous. Dommage car l'hôtel à un bon potentiel.
