Melissa II Hotel is situated in Elefsina, and offers an excellent base for visiting the famous archaeological site and museum. It lies only 20 km from the centre of Athens. The hotel features lovely interiors, with arches, paintings and other pretty details. Relax in the small garden, or while writing home using the free Wi-Fi internet access. Take a walk down to the waterside, or visit the many shops nearby. Return to the delicious food of the attractive restaurant. Nice location and nice hotel in the public areas. Gives a feeling of homeliness. Very quiet. When showering water was flowing freely on floor at times out of the toilet. This is a design flaw as no shower curtain can prevent this from happening. Easiest solution would be to install door sills. Some day someone will have an accident and slide on the wet and thus slippery tile floor.

TV and internet access didn't work as advertised. TV was broken and Internet access was painfully slow.

accueil sympathique hotel tres bruyant, la rue doit servir de depart pour les courses de voiture et motos, c'est incroyable, tres mal dormi !!

L'interno dell'hotel è molto bello, a differenza della facciata piuttosto squallida. La camera era ampia e pulita. Il bagno non era eccezionale. La colazione un po' risicata.

Πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο. Το προσωπικό ήταν εξυπηρετικό. Λίγο παλιό ξενοδοχείο. Ίσως θα χρειαζόταν μία ανακαίνιση.

This is a budget hotel and doesn't pretend to be anything else. You won't get luxury, a trendy interior or a state-of-the-art bathroom. What you will get, however, is a friendly, homely hotel in the middle of town with a pleasant dining room. Breakfast, which is included in the price, is basic but good. The staff are great. The wi fi link was sometimes a little slow but, on the whole, reliable. The en suite shower room was tiny and antiquated. There was, however, always plenty of hot water - which to me is the important thing. The balcony (main view: a row of grubby trainers which were left on the windowsill of the room opposite us every night) was a bit dirty and one of the two (very basic) plastic chairs collapsed whenever anyone sat on it.
