Mentor Hotel  

Location. The view from our room was fantastic! One of the best we have experienced during our visits to greek islands. The spacious room was very much appreciated.

Too much noise coming from the traffic of the street in front of the hotel. It was impossible to sit on the balcony, especially in the afternoon or evening hours, or sleep with the balcony door open. Also, the management of the hotel has to do something very soon about the unusually strong lights they keep on top of every balcony door, in the front side of the hotel [main switch basis], which is extremely annoying for the guests staying in the front rooms, like we were. No sleep, no privacy.

Its strong points are its excellent, quiet location with a wonderful view of the port/bay as well as its breakfast which offered a variety of sweet and savoury snacks, all fresh and tasty. The terrace where you could have your breakfast enjoying the view of Vathi was an advantage, too.

I did not like the room as its furniture was not modern- at least not as in the photos shown on the booking.com site), the bathroom door was creaking, and there was no hairdryer (I would assume that to be standard, so that I would not have to ask the reception staff for one). What is more, with the exception of Varvara (the receptionist we met on the first day, who was very helpful and friendly), the gentleman at the reception desk was not polite- when I asked him for a hairdryer he seemed rather disturbed and asked someone else to look for one. What is more, when the cleaning lady knocked on our door, we asked her to come half an hour later and she never did. When we returned that night, the room had not been cleaned and there was no dry towel for the bathroom floor which got wet as there is no shower curtain.

The location was the main reason we stayed at The Mentor.

The one minor detail was the size of the shower.

La ubicación es excelente, sobre todo si la habitación tiene terraza al puerto; el desayuno es también bueno. Tienen sala para Internet, con ordenadores a disposición del cliente, y hay wifi en las habitaciones. El personal que nos atendió era amable y nos ofrecieron buena información sobre la isla (mapas).

Quizá sería conveniente sustituir por una ducha con mampara la pequeña bañera (demasiado alta para personas con problemas de movilidad).

πολυ μικρη τουαλετα (για να χωρεσεισ στην ντουζιερα επρεπε να εισαι κατηγορια "φτερου") .προβληματα στο καζανακι (ετρεχε συνεχωσ με αποτελεσμα να υπαρχει μονιμα μια λιμνη νερων στο δαπεδο του λουτρου)

La posizione è ottima: è possibile far colazione all'aperto guardando il mare! Le camere sono spaziose, ben arredate e comode; la pulizia eccellente e, per I patiti di internet, anche la possibilità di connettersi ( anche se ritengo un peccato sottrarre tempo alla vacanza in un posto così bello).

In un hotel così ti aspetteresti un facchino per I bagagli, invece, malgrado l'età mia e della mia compagna di viaggio, abbiamo dovuto trasportare personalmente I bagagli in camera e vicecersa. Inoltre avevo prenotato camera matrimoniale invece abbiamo avuto una doppia, con I due letti singoli accostati.

Las maravillosas vistas y el desayuno que era mu bueno.También la inmejorable ubicación.

Que al principio y solo en las zonas de la recepción daba un cierto aire de desportillado.Parece que han empezado reformando las habitaciones,lo que está muy bien,pero para el precio y dados los estándares del país creo que le falta un poco de "barniz".
