I love this apartment soooooo much. The owners are so kind and nice. A wonderful place.

Actually adorable. The guys that run this Hotel are by far the most generous, lovely people we've met so far. What do we mean by that? - Costas picked us up from the Port (free) - When we arrived at the hotel, his brother-in-law had just finished lighting all the candles in our room so when we arrived it was all romantic. - The breakfast is very generous - We booked for 2 nights and stayed for 2 more because we liked it so much - and oh the view!!! - When we said we were leaving to go and stay in Perissa - Costas drove us all the way (to the other side of the island) to take us to the next hotel. Really outstanding, great value for money (we had a sea-view room), and lovely people.

the bins are next to the site of the meals and watch the containers to be emptied and there is much noise in the street to traffic.

The customer service was excellent; breakfast was really good; environment was also good. Hotel arranged transfer from the airport, which was great, otherwise would be difficult to get there.

Shower space was very small and curtain was always sticking to us while taking a shower.

Warm and nice room, very comfortable, like home. Free wine provided and produced by the hotel, good taste!

from the minute we arrived we were made welcome. Picked up from the airport and a 10 minute journey to the hotel. Perfect location and a view to die for. The breakfasts were absolutely fantastic and Roula and Akostas treated you like family. Offering transport if you needed. We loved every minute of it and would definitely return

Very nice hotel, perfect sunset view from the balcony, very nice and helpful staff. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a place a bit out of the main touristic regions.

It provided comfortable, value-for-money, accomodation close to the clifftop views of the spectacular Santorini caldera and is less than half hour's walk along the clifftop path to Thira Town. The breakfast was excellent. The proprietors were friendly and helpful, and provided information on restaurants and attractions around the island. They also took us to the town bus station for our onward journey to the ferry port and looked after our luggage at their nearby shop while we did some sight-seeing.

The private outdoor space around the hotel was restricted. Not a problem for a stay of a day or two, however.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very reasonable breakfast and an interesting variety of food - nice toasties and local honey doughnuts! Excellent value for money and a good sized basic room with reasonable cooking facilities - two hot plates - and decent fridge.

Plenty of hot water but difficult to control the temperature of the shower

<the location was amazing-right across the street from the edge of the caldera! Raoula made us feel welcome and gave us a delicious breakfast and brought us wine and horedorves in the evening.

We were looked after beyond our expectations during our stay. The appartment was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The staff were extraordinarily friendly, bringing us anything we needed for no additional cost and provided free transport whenever and wherever possible. The location was perfect with the beautiful sunset visible from our balcony. There are a few restaurants and shops nearby but the location was quaint and quiet, suitable for the breath taking views. There are buses every 20 minutes to Oia or Fira bus station (many restaurants and shops) where you could get a bus easily and cheaply to parts of the island worth visiting. Merovigliosso made our honeymoon magical and we will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Clean, quiet and cozy. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. I would love to stay in this cozy hotel again.

Would have commented sooner from our return from a fabulous holiday at the Merovigliosso,but our internet has been down since we got back! We had an absolutley fabulous time there. We felt like we were staying at a friend's house with the hospitality and friendliness we experienced. For the money, this must be the best place to stay! Great clean accomodation, fabulous breakfast, personal service, airport transfers, booking of tours, extra drinks and nibbles - nothing too much trouble. The recommendations for restaurants was very good from our experience - and there are more than 2 in Imerovigli so ignore previous review, we tried three and had a good meal at each. We had the most fantastic view over the Caldera. We were on the main road, but the noise never disturbed us and the dustmen come at about 8.30 so not too early. There were a few good mini-markets within walking distance. We also met "Sallie" the dog- but we think she is actually a he! As for transport, we did a tour of the South of the Island, and got buses to Thira and Oia. We would however hire a car on our next visit as we would like to explore the East side more. We would highly recommend the sunset cruise - we opted for the semi-private catamaran, which was excellent. When we go back, we will stay at the Merovigliosso again for sure.

Nothing-although if you are a bit disabled, you may find the stairs to the mezzanine bedroon floor in the appartments a bit of a challenge.

We stayed only 2 nights in this wonderful little hotel but I wish I had stayed longer. We were very nice welcomed by Kostas and his lovely sister Roula that introduced us to what Santorini has to offer. During our stay it seemed that nothing was too much trouble to make their guests enjoy their holidays. We even received a complimentary bottle of wine and water at our arrival. The apartment had everything one can think of: nice equipped little kitchen, perfect view terrace, Jacuzzi bath tub, candles and romantic decorations, a small swimming pool that we had used to cool off after a long shopping walk to Fira. The towels and bad sheets were spotless and everything was very tidy and clean. The view is stunning and the location very convenient: close to supermarkets, easy to reach by car and by bus (you don’t have to carry your luggage on narrow endless alleys). The breakfast was very good. Every morning Roula served us coffee while we were waiting our son to wake up and have breakfast together. We felt pampered and I believe this can only happen in small cosy hotels like this one. I met Roula in a souvenir shop in Fira and I felt like seeing an old friend. Roula, I can’t thank you enough for the way you treated us during our stay and for the little farewell gift you made us (I have it on my wall in the dining room and it lights up my day every time I see it).

Merovigliosso is worthy of all its positive reviews. Kosta and Roula go above and beyond to ensure each of their guests have the best and most comfortable stay possible. We were visiting Santorini for a friend's wedding hosted at another hotel and Merovigliosso provided us with the perfect, most comfortable base for our stay on Santorini. Highly recommended.

Helpfulness of the staff. Cleanliness of the room and perfect maintenance of this cleanliness. Quite and central location.

The staff were funtastic !!! The view from our balcony was breathtaking, beautiful sunset.

Tv reception was poor

Amazing hotel placed on the tiny street along Caldera at Imerovigli (the small Thirassia island observed from our balcony)! The cosy interior in cyclades's style and outstanding great hospitality of the personnel (Kostas, lady who assisted with Kostas and Roula.. Wish you every year as the best year from all :) Kostas gave us the map with marks for sightseeing and places of Taverns with the best cuisine on island. We saved our time and what is much more important our impressions from the island! Imerovigli is situated about 15min walking to Thira if you know the way along Caldera between cyclades's little houses and if you ready for fairy walk ;) But we rented 4wheels-cycle (some calls them "piggies":) to have possibility to see every corner regardless from distance.. We were there in Oct 2011, but we still remember every sunrise and sunset! Now the Caldera souvenir-picture from Kostas lets us to realize every day that Santorini's fairy is truly exist =)

This little hotel has a very personal feeling about it. There are only 7 rooms. Situated overlooking the Caldera the views of sunset are great. Check in was easy. The room was perfectly cleaned and well equipped either for a short stay or an extended one. The bed was comfortable. We did not try the pool. Breakfast was a feast. All in all good value for money.

I marked the hotel down on location because we had difficulty finding it. This maybe unfair because if we had contacted reception they would have collected us. On departure they shuttled us to Fira and stored our luggage so we were unencumbered while sightseeing until our ferry time.

Friendly, family run small hotel. Met at the port of Santorini. Wonderful breakfast and friendly town dog named "Susie" who has a crooked smile! L would stay here again! Town very quiet and away from the hustle of Thira, but a short and lovely walk away from amazing shopping in Thira.

Excellent staff, very helpful and caring!

This is a small hotel but it offered nice service and made our stay so pleasant. The hotel has an amazing view towards the caldera (which also was seen from our terrace). The hotel staff is VERY, VERY nice and friendly...always trying to help and be of your service. The breakfast was very delicious and served near the pool.... The hotel is at very good location, just 20 minutes walk from the capital Thira (and this walk is one of the best experience in the island)
