Santorini Mesotopos

The staff was very very helpful, arranged so much for us and helped us to solve our transport issues efficiently. They are an excellent host, helped in renting car, bike, transport etc. thanks for this help.

Really nothing. Although they are on a very good location but some time we miss the crossing to reach their hotel site. Not to blame them as we were in hurry in night. May be a good idea to put a board on the main road indicating their direction.

We are 4 Malaysian friends who just got back from Santorini, and Santorini Mesatopos was our last stop there! The maisonette was lovely; for a group of four it felt homey and cosy. Flora (the manager) made sure we had extra blankets and was always on hand to help us with such tasks as ringing up a taxi to send us to Fira, calling up ferry agencies to see if they would be operating (it was windy season when we were there), and offering to send off our postcards as we left Santorini!

The pool wasn't filled so we can't review this part (it was off-peak season) It was further from Fira than we expected (about 8 minute cab ride/EUR8 one way) The sea view would require walking out of Mesotopos to see the volcano and caldera OR a very clear day to see the sea on the other side.

Excellent and friendly staff, we could leave our baggage at the reception on our last day with no problems and they helped us rent an atv that was delivered at the hotel. Constantina helped us on how to move around town and what places to see, we enjoyed very much our stay. On our first day there was not hot water but they were very concerned to solve the problem, which shows they were really commited that we have a pleasant stay.

The pool area is amazing and really nice area to relax. It is quite and has a nice view over the beaches. Staff were very helpful in arranging trips, quad bike and transfers during our stay. The room was really clean and serviced daily. Really nice resort atmosphere.

The location. As the address may suggest it is not acctually in Fira. We are a fit young couple and aimed to walk into Fira, we walked for 30mins before turning back. The public transport is not reliable, we waited over an hour one day trying to catch a bus. Great place if you are prepared to pay for transport during your stay either rent a bike/car or catch taxis, which aren't actually that expensive.

Really really nice hotel and set up with a fantastic view - friendly staff who really helps you with everthing you need also makes you feel very welcome and at home. :-) No need to try any other hotel for the next visit! :-) We'll be back!

Great Quality/Price ratio. Constantine and her mother, owners and managers, a great girls who take care of you perfectly. I would really stay in it again if I come back to visit the island in next future.

Santorini Mesotopos is located within easy reach of Fira in a short taxi ride and in a quiet area for total relaxation. The family run business is great and all members of the family do their bit to ensure you have a great stay from airport transfers to restaurant recommendations to cooking a light breakfast to cleaning the apartment daily they were all very helpful, always smiling and efficient.

The view which is not at all as describe on Bookin.com The breakfast: no choice, nearly nothing! No hot water for the shower... too much customers! Overcharge to rent a motorbike... Never again even for the half of the price.

I really like everything!! I think there's nothing to improve, it's just amazing!! I went to Santorini with a friend for celebrating our 30's and definitely Mesotopos was the best option! We were looking for a resting place close to Thira for having some party time and in the middle of the island for visiting everything, and we reached it! Mesotopos it's just 2 minutes driving from Thira and ten minutes driving for almost everywhere in the island, so you can visit all the nice places easily and then get relax at the amazing swimming pool at the hotel! The staff is just excellent! They work so hard for making your holidays perfect offering services (scooter rental, excursions, transfers to the airport...) and informing you about all the best places to visit! Thanx so much to all the staff crew and specially to Constantina who used even her personal contacts to recuperate my mobile phone which was lost on the plane!! You are the best!!! ;-)

Family run buisiness, very friendly. was very relaxing and quiet. thouroughly enjoyed our stay and definately recomend.

We spent 5 amazing days at Mesotopos! Very friendly and helpful staff (owners), breakfast was very tasty, room was clean and very comfortable, great pool area, very easy to get to Fira (only 1 minute from bus station) and at the same time a quiet and relaxing area! Would certainly go back again! GrEaT Experience!!

Really peaceful place with great pool and sunloungers.

The location is ideal... Equal distances from the island's best beaches north & south and directly across the street from the Caldera with the best sunset view on the island. We found Oia to be too crowded and too comercial. The staff was amazingly hospitable. They had our quad delivered to our front door, and breakfast served on our balcony for only $6 euros each.

Very friendly quality apartments central for exploring the island of santorini. Our room had excellent views over the island and the caldera sunset view is a very short (Uphill) walk behind the hotel. The hotel has no formal bar or restaurant but the santo winery (the best place on the island for wine and sunsets!) and Senor Zorba are both very close. Our room had basic cooking self catering facilities and a good value continental breakfast was available for 6 Euros. The apartment grounds are peaceful and quiet but just a 3 minute drive or 30 minute brisk walk from Thira the capital of the island which has a seemingly unlimited number of tasteful upmarket restaurants, shops, bars and nightclubs. The south coast beaches are a ten minute drive from the hotel.

The accommodation would be awkward for anyone without their own transport as the local taxi service cannot be relied upon.

The hotel/apartment style rooms are really cool; they have a loft with a double bed and a day bed to sleep approx 3-4 people. We had a pleasant stay and the staff were really friendly along with a wonderful breakfast served by the pool side.

Only thing you have to have a mode of transportation if you don't like walking into Fira about 2 miles. We walked it one day and had a great walk along the sea side.

The owners were very welcoming, and very helpful. They reserved a car for us, told us about excersions, which restaurants were good! The room is decent for what we payed and the pool area was very nice. I would recommend this hotel, very clean and decent for the price you are paying.

Proximity to both south spots (Akrotiri, Red Beach), north spots (Fira, Oia) and beaches like Kamari. Most important, very friendly family staff.

They were very accommodating to all our needs and organised everything for us as soon as we arrived.

One of the best experiences ever!!! Loved everything about Santorini Mesotopos. Family who run the hotel are fantastic. Professional, effiecient & warm & very friendly. Made us feel like family members. The studio we stayed in was perfect. Always kept very clean. Facilities like the fridge and stove gave us flexibility to cater for ourselves if we chose not to eat a some of the good restaurants nearby. Brilliant view of the caldera sunset from the top of the driveway. Pool is great! Great location a few minutes from Thira town. Airport pickup was professional & punctual. Loved every minute there? Will definitely return as soon as we can. Absolutely loved it!!

Nice hotel, very friendly staff and attentive. Beaufitul views. We stayed there for part of our honey moon and loved it. Would definitely try to come back.

Meget hyggelig og hjelpsom dame i resepsjonen.Sentralt, men likevel stille og rolig område. Flott bassengområde.

Ikke like varmt vann i dusjen hele tida.Kunne tenkt oss litt mer komfortabelt møblement på balkongen. Beskrivees som hotell med utsikt til calderaen, -dette stemmer ikke med virkeligheten.
