staff,breakfast fantastic

excellent breakfast provided, fantastic Greek yogurt and side sause of bread! Very nice host family. Even borrowing their own shampoo and hair.dryer to us! And reminding us that do not miss the train!

Big mosquitos in the hotel:-O Facilities in the toilet is not functioning well.

Location was fantastic and the breakfast was just wonderful. Bed good and shower worked well.... Quiet. We were very pleased.

Room was small but we weren't expecting a lot of room. Balcony view was fantastic.

Excellent breakfast.

The "double" bed was NOT a double, not even a semi-double, just a large single / small semi-double. No central heating, though the A/C heated the room quite effectively.

The comfortable room and good service! I informed of them I had to ride train at 8:20, so they changed breakfast time from 8o'clock to 7:20.

Thank you to the lovely family for looking after us your breakfasts are fantastic. It's not the Hilton but great value.

There was no fridge in the room, however there was a freezer in the bathroom ;) If you need a cryotherapy it it very good choice! ;)

I enjoyed so much to stay at Hotel Meteora. The owner is very attentive and there is wonderful breakfast!!! The location is very good too!

The location was great, the breakfast was well done.

The yelling and noise from downstairs. We did not close the door at the top of the stairs the first night and the noise went on until 11:00. Also our room was small (which was ok) but the owners family was spread out in the lobby and I did not feel comfortable going down to do school work with my sons as the noise level/tone of voice was to much.

Nice location very friendly reception, nice breakfast provided. Value for money

I liked this hotel for being a family run hotel. My money went directory to them not to big Company or Society staff (like Hilton, mercure,...) the family was so kind, Mr. Dimitri in the morning prepared me a Good breackfast!! I love greek yogurt! If you are looking for design and luxury confort this is the wrong place... If you are looking for a familiar place where to rest after meteora walking tour in front of a fireplace, This is the right place!!

I liked the serene location.

The location to be able to visit one of the most splendid sites at Meteora was excellent and the owners were especially helpful in making arrangements for our stay, both travel within, and upon leaving. They went out of their way to assist us in amything we needed. Highgly recommend it.

The staff at the hotel were fantastic, They gave us a cot for our little boy at no extra charge, and the breakfast was huge and very tasty They couldn't have been more helpful We had blown a tyre on the hire car on the way to the hotel and the owner went and orgnaised with the local tyre dealer a new secondhand tyre in very good condition for 20 euros , escorted us there and didnt want anything for his help. This was great as when you hire a car in Greece the underbody and tyres are not included in the insurance, without his help we would have wasted time and money and had a bad memory of our trip Thanks to Hotel Meteora we had a great time, THere is also a restaurant very close nearby which has very cheap meals live music and a great atmosphere.

Das Hotel liegt am Ende einer Sackgasse und dadurch sehr ruhig, daber dennoch nahe am Stadtzentrum. Unser Zimmer war sauber, die Betten gut, das Frühstück super. Die Mitarbeiter waren ausgesprochen familien- /kinderfreundlich. The hotel is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac-road, so there is no loud traffic. The room was very clean, the beds/mattrasses new and comfortable, the breakfast excellent. The staff/ family was very friendly / helpful.

They were very friendly, and the Hotel was quite near the main street and the shops. There was also a taxi stand near the hotel, which was quite convenient. The view from the room was also quite good, you can see one of the Meteora rocks, which is quite cool.

If travelling by coach/bus to Kalambaka, it can get quite confusing to know which stop to get off at. Especially since there are two Hotel Meteoras', one in Kalambaka and one in Kastraki.
