Metropolis Hotel  

I chose this hotel based on the recommendations, and was not disappointed. Great location, friendly staff, clean. Highly recommended! Rooms are small but have balconies. Ask for room at front 22, 32, 42 all have views of the Acropolis from the balcony! Can't beat the quality for the cost.

The location is perfect.

No air-conditioner in the single room, and it will be very hot in summer.

This hotel is very well situated in the center of Athens at Plaka, which is near all the sites to be visited. Very good for a family or group of friends as they offer rooms for 3 or 4 people. The rooms are clean and confortable, the staff is very friendly. I recommend this hotel for short stays at Athens

We had a full view of Acropolis from our bed, everything was brand new, ultra clean and the staff very welcoming. We reccommend this place 100%

Η τοποθεσία του ξενοδοχείου ειναι παρα πολυ βολική! Ακριβώς στο κέντρο της Αθήνας. Η τιμή του ειναι αρκετή καλή γι αυτα που προσφέρει. Το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχειου αρκετά φιλόξενο.

Πολυ μικρό ξενοδοχείο χωρις κοινους χώρους και με πολυ μικρό ασανσερ.

Sa location : proximité du métro , de Plaka et de l'Acropole

Petites chambres ; une salle de petit dej. à l'exterieure sans opportunité de se mettre à l'abri quand il pleut - et oui cela arrive meme au mois de mai !! Le petit dejeuner n'est pas bon ( qualité des produits tres limite ) Mauvaise Isolation entre les chambres et le couloir

Ottima la posizione Dell hotel, a due passi dall acropoli e dalle vie pedonali del centro della plaka. Staff molto gentile e disponibile. Camera piccola,molto semplice ma pulita e per una notte andava Bene.

Prezzoandava prezzo forse un po' alto ma nel complesso in linea Con gli altri alberghi della zona. Vale la pena per la posizione comodissima.

Skvělé umístění v samotném centru Athén na Place. I v nočních hodinách velmi bezpečné místo. Hotel je úplně nový, právě renovovaný, čisťounký, pohodlný, krásně zařízený. Na nám. Syntagma, tj. k Parlamentu, kde je stanice metra a busu na letiště, je to tak 150 m. Snídaně se podává na střešní terase s nádherným výhledem na Akropoli. Zřejme se tu nepočítá s dlouhodobými návštěvníky, protože snídaně je velmi dobrá i dostačující, ale denně stejná.

Ačkoliv jsem účet za pobyt zaplatila ihned po příjezdu, potvrzení jsem nedostala ani na opakované žádosti s tím, že mi ho vystaví až při odjezdu. To se ale nestalo, i když jsem si o ně při odchodu znovu řekla. Prostě nedali. Vzhledem k tomu, že jsem nechtěla riskovat a nestihnout letadlo, nechala jsem to být. Pobyt v Aténách mi tak celou dobu kazila myšlenka, co jestli mi zaplacení zapřou a budou chtít platbu znovu. Koneckonců, číslo platební karty hostů mají od rezervace. Z tohoto jediného důvodu do hotelu Metropolis, kde se mi jinak velmi líbilo, už nikdy nepojedu a pro svůj příští pobyt si vyberu jiný.

这里地点非常好，离宪法广场很近，机场大巴下了后走5分钟就到，酒店再往前走就的plaka地区，一部份景- 点周围步行就到。老板也还过得去。

除了以上地点的优势外，房间太小，电梯也巨小，空调也是个摆设，价格45还行，在这个位置来说。如果跟我一- 样只是为过一夜第二天赶飞机的话也还行的。

Davvero un bell hotel:posizione centralissima tra Sintagma e monastiraki, puoi girare tutti i monumenti e siti di interesse a piedi, una zona piena di negozi taverne tipiche e caffe,la stanza molto bella e pulita, con vista sull acropoli, illuminata di notte...uno spettacolo meraviglioso...e la mattina ti offrono la colazione su una terrazzina con vista direttamente anche qst sull acropoli..insomma un'ottima esperienza di relax che consiglio a tutti

Giusto la colazione, poco continentale, non c era niente di salato, ma comunque era buona, caffe, succo di arancia l ottimo yogurt greco, pane tostato e marmellata

Excellente localisation dans Athènes pour une découverte de la ville ou en transit. L'hôtel a été rénové depuis l'année dernière.

Todo excelente, honestamente lo recomendaria a mis amigos y por seguro si regreso a Atenas me volveria a hospedar ahi. Ideal para los que viajamos con presupuesto limitado. El personal muy amable y dispuestos a ayudar con en todo lo que podian. Gracias a ellos consegui los tours que queria tomar y mucho mas barato que tomandolos desde mi pais.

The location was great . The room was relatively spacious and clean. The ac and the free wifi were working just fine.

Extremely small shower tub with short hanging plastic curtains (not reaching the floor) which were sticking on the body during shower. No cups to dissolve a medicine. No waste basket to dispose trash. Finally the breakfast consisted of a white toast, one box of butter and one of jam, 2 spoons of yogurt in a cup, a cup of coffee with condensed milk and a cup of juice, all served on a tray by the cleaning woman, from an open window on the top open terrace. The sitting tables were impossible to be used when the wind was blowing or when it was drizzling. Not being able to take a decent shower and to have a decent breakfast, made my stay very uncomfortable. The staff people were all very polite (especially Costas) but that is not enough for me to book this hotel ever again, unless the shower tubs and the breakfast are improved and a waste basket and some cutlery are added in the room.
