Exceptionally helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble even taking us into town when they saw us at the bus stop. Very clean Could not find nicer people Breakfast adequate for it's price
shower very small nothing else to find fault with
Very friendly and helpful owners. Clean and bright rooms. Pick up from port and drop off at airport. We occasionally have to stay on Mykonos on our way to/from other islands and have always been annoyed and dismayed at the poor and expensive accommodation on offer. However, the Milena is a real gem of a find. We will be back.
nothing-perfect for a stopover
The hotel is located 5 minutes from the airport but you'll never hear the planes due to the position. 15 minutes walking distance from the center. Bus station just across the street. Amazing courtesy and availability from the owners, nice structure, clean, beautiful, very good and free wifi, air conditioned, free service to/from the port and the airport (the owners themeselves will take you by car), excellent relation quality/price, I am not able to find a single fault. Everything was just perfect.
Impossible to find a single fault
The staff has been totally welcoming, available to help, friendly and professional, the hotel is very nice, clean, 3 minutes from the airport but you'll never hear the planes flying over your head, the bus station is just across the street from the hotel and the center of Mykonos is 15 minutes away walking.
Friendly Staff Beautiful view Nice location
WiFi was a little slow Breakfast could be a little more comprehensive
The staff is amazing including a pickup from the port and a dropoff at the airport Bus stop right at the door but buses only every 30min and dont take you to all of the beaches. Room was well decorated and spacious. Breakfast was ok.
We didnt have wifi access in our room. Far from the center if you dont have a car or a motorbike
Beatiful and charming hotel very close to the Mykonos center and the airport. We were received by a very friendly staff who made all they could to make ours a pleasant stay. I hope I can return to Milena hotel soon.
Nothing. The place is perfect.
I loved the family run business, they take pride in the hotel and impeccable service.
If I had to really pick I would say the pillow wasn't the best.
Great service, kind staff-very accommodating, cheap breakfast, good price, comfortable rooms, well cleaned, nice bathrooms The hosts were incredibly hospitable and made note of our arrival and departure time so they could pick us up/drop us off. They were incredibly helpful and provided lots of information on how to get around. Some comments have noted that it is a "small breakfast". It is 6 Euro for a decent sized meal. There is cereal, cake, juice, coffee (with varieties), ham, bread, cheese, yoghourt, fruit salad, honey, biscuits, fruits (apples, oranges). As you can guess, it is a very reasonable breakfast considering the cost.
location I should note, the location isn't terrible, but it is slightly inconvenient. It is 15min out of town, walking downhill (25min back, walking uphill). However, be aware, roads in Mykonos have poor sidewalks and cars rarely obey pedestrian crosswalks so walking up and down the road can be very unnerving/dangerous. There is a bus stop right across the street and another one where the "Paradise" bus drops you off in front of the hotel. However, you do have to wait for these buses (about every half hour) and if you're trying to go into the town, and then traveling to other areas of the island, bus travel can add up. Remember, the only bus that picks you up here is the paradise bus, so unless you are always going to paradise beach, to get to other areas you have to take one bus into town (1.60 euro) and then another to whichever beach you're going to (1.60euro up to 4 euro for super paradise). Alternatively, you can catch the bus to paradise (1.60 euro) and take the little boat there to other beaches (5-6 euro). Also, of course, renting a vehicle or cabbing (expensive!) is also a choice. If you're willing to deal with this, it really isn't too bad. It just may be an inconvenience.
Very hospitable family oriented plAce to stay. Owners are wonderful!
Very neat, family business. Very kind people n staff. Hotel is very central, bus station right outside the hotel. A good hotel if u on a budget. Facilities are clean will definitely go back
The shower curtains I think they must put shower doors They must supply Xtra pillows. Upgrade the breakfast to varieties should not be the same everyday
Cleanliness and helpfulness. Good pickup from port and to airport next morning.
Stayed before but didn't like the position of room this time. A bit claustrophobic.
Very friendly, excellent service, transfer to from port, hug and fridge magnet at leaving. Welcome and fair well drinks. Do you need more :)
I cannot think about anything
Nice staff, very helpful. Provide free transfer from the seaport which is very important. Housekeeping is wonderful, the hotel is so clean.
Half way up in the hill. A bit far away from the town. But bus station is just in front of hotel.
The owners were very considerate: pick us up at the port, explained everything about the island, gave us a map, and the breakfast was good.
Nothing, it exceeded our expectations!
great location, clean, great value for money & friendly staff who went above & beyond to help you out.
The staff was very kind with us. They have a service to pick us up at the port, and when we went out of Mykonos they also bring us up to the port. The hotel is very near of the city center. The room is very comfortable. We are very proud of our stay there. We had to go out of the hotel at 12 o'clock although we could have a shower in the afternoon when came back at 5 p.m. In my opinion, the hotel is fantastic!
I like everything there!
Cleaningness Location Friendly service
- Amables Frosso, mama (?) y Yiannis (owners are kind) - habitacion comoda y salon agradable (confortable room and nice living room)
- un poco lejos de centro y recomendamos alquiler un vehiclo como scooter (location is a bit far from the center. So we recomend to rent a bike)
Perfect family hotel. Perfect location and very clean.
Very freindly stuff. Close to town center and airport. They offer free ride from and to airport. Definitely recommend
I liked the location and the staff.
Close to airport, free pick-up service to/from harbour and airport, plus lifts into town. Also on bus-route to several beaches. Lovely staff and really clean and comfortable rooms.
No pool is the only drawback. A bit of a walk into town, but manageable.
The owners are great hosts and arranged for our transfers to and from the port. On arrival they greeted us and briefed us on sightseeing spots, restaurants, bus lines, beaches, etc, which was of great help. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Our stay Hotel Milena was truely enjoyed!
Frosso and her husband Giannis are just wonderful hosts, who will do almost everything for their guests.
