Yota and Babis could not have been more helpful particularly with luggage and transport between Port, Pension and Airport. Great views over harbour Very nicely appointed room Convenient position for waterfront Excellent value for money

I am scratching my head trying to find anything to criticize. There is nothing for me to criticize. I will have no hair left on my head if I carry on scratching.

The owners of the hotel are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned daily and the linen is regularly changed. The view from the hotel is great and access to the town is quick, 5 minutes walk. Air conditioning is included in the price, and the hotel is in a pretty quiet location for it's position in town.

Excellent service by the couple that runs the hotel. No breakfast included, but that did not matter at all. Better enjoying Skiathos town, which are very close. Great view from the hotel room, and from the roof terrace, that also can provide you with a coffee or beer. Very good value for money! If you go to Skiathos, stay here! They offered us transfer to and from the hotel, but as we were travelling as back- packers this time, we preferred to walk. We are also used to stay in both mountain huts and 5-star hotels. This hotel ranks high!!

Good basic hotel, very clean, owners very friendly. lovely position in town within easy reach of shops, buses, and waterfront.

Wouldnt suit people who weren`t very mobile, as access is up steps which are fairly steep. We enjoyed the exercise!

The friendliness of the owners and everything they did to make us feel welcome and assist us in getting back to the airport. The hotel has a beautiful roof terrace with fantastic views across the harbour and the hotel owners allowed us to feel comfortable here in the few hours we had to wait for our flight home.

Babis hotel was perfect. We didn't like Skiathos town itself as it was very crowded and was not how we expected a town to be on a small greek island. We were very pleased that we chose the neighbouring Skopelos instead for our actual holiday.

Babis Hotel represents the best relation between quality and price. The rooms are very confortable, clean and the seaview is spectacular. The owners, Yota and Babis are simply fantastic. During my holidays in Greece I stayed in several hotels and I'm sure that Babis represents a rarity in terms of quality.

Lovely staff and a wounderful location if you dont mind "climbing" the stairs from the harbour. Very nice view from the roof top terace.

This is a small very friendly hotel. The owners are very helpful and friendly people. The views from the hotel are breathtakingly beautiful. The location is very good but you need to be fit to stay at this hotel due to the steps up from the harbour. You can however go round the other way which is easier with no steps just a steeper incline. The choice of room only or room with kitchenette is good. The complimentary transfers from / to the airport were very good and made the journey much easier for us.We are a mature, fit couple and would not hesitate to return to this hotel we had a fantastic holiday.

Very relaxed place to live in the city center within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Nice quiet place with a magnificent view from the rooftop terrace which is free of charge. Very very friendly and family- like staff. Always very clean room and nice service. Meget afslappet sted at bo midt i byen i gåafstand til restauranter og butikker. Dejligt roligt sted med en storslående udsigt fra tagterrassen som er til fri afbenyttelse. Særdeles meget venligt og familieagtig personale. Altid meget rene værelse og fin service.

Pick-up from airport was great - made arrival so much easier. The terrace was perfect for a pre-dinner drink of our own - buying a bottle of rose from the local supermarket and chilling it in the fridge in our room. Our hosts were also very helpful and friendly.

As it was my second stay at this family running facility I have to confess I liked again everything. Easy accessable from the port (within 10min footwalk), family is friendly (always stood in contact via email to get arrival times / pick up from the port), every day clean room, free offered Ice coffee every day...

Wonderful place, fabulous people! After weighing up reviews & price we booked the Babis for an overnight stop on the way to Skopelos, as flight & ferry did not coincide.Had a spot of bother finding exact location - our own fault as we didn't take the directions with us - but, no fear, following a quick phone call the friendly, welcoming owners came to the main road to meet us & the husband insisted on taking our very heavy luggage up cobbled steps & paths to our room as there is pedestrian access only. Despite only staying the one night we were given a studio room with small, furnished balcony & stunning views over the picture- perfect port. Everything was immaculate with good facilities, including toiletries, bottled water, tea, coffee & milk provided. There was a 2 ring cooker, fridge, sink, & essential utensils & crockery. A communal roof patio with tables & chairs provided extra space to relax & take in the picturesque views.

We didn't dislike anything, but it was a bit of a climb with steps so may not be suitable for some people with mobility problems.

We were very warmly welcomed, and then upgraded to a larger room with kitchen and a seaview. Our room was spotless, and tucked away in a quieter part of Skiathos Town, yet just a short wlak down to the waterfront.

We cannot recommend the Babis enough. The rooms were basic but very clean and comfortable with a fabulous view over the harbour. Babis and his wife could not be more helpful - they picked us up and took us back to the airport, organised a day room for us when our ferry arrived too early for our evening flight and collected our bags from the ferry. We enjoyed the roof terrace and even had a free drink. Lack of eating facilities is not a problem as the hotel is right in the middle of the old town cafes and restaurants.

Quite a steep climb from the port not for anyone who has problems walking.

This family run hotel is fabulous. Spotlessly clean, magnificent views from the terrace. Babis and Yoita are excellent hosts. A little Gem!!!

Very friendly and helpful. Picked up from airport and dropped at ferry. Comfortable bed. Close to town, harbour and beach. Water provided in fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Will stay there again.

From the moment we were met at the airport by babis, and taken to our apartment , for free, we couldnt have had better service from him and his wife. The apartment was in a perfect location, wonderful views, with a small balcony and roof terrace, The room was spotlessly clean and was maintained that way for the 2 weeks we were there. It was superb value for money and we have no hesitation in recommending it looking for a stay on Skiathos.
