The hotel was very clean, location was excellent (just 10 min. walk to town). There was an interesting taverna at the bottom of the driveway on the beach. The staff was very helpful....excellent English spoken. Breakfasts were good. Ocean view from room was excellent.
We have no complaints
I loved the nice beach across the street from the hotel. The best feature is the proximity to Mykonos Town; we were able to walk to town in less than 10 minutes. Our rom also had a great view of the beach
Rooms smelled like mold. First room they gave us was HORRABLE! The smell of mold HIT us in the face the moment we opened the door. The walls and floor had mold all over. They gave us new rooms but we had to take two separate rooms which broke up our group of 3. These rooms smelled also but not quite as bad as the first. There was nowhere else to stay on the island so we were stuck there. Do not recommend.
Over looking the beach,good breakfast
I enjoyed the view and breakfast. Easy walk to town and quiet location.
No wifi in the rooms.
The location was excellent even though there are a lot of inclines to get to town and back. But that is what it is like on all the islands
We did not see the air conditioning unit until the last day and it was so hot. More our mistake than theirs, but made sleeping tough.
The pool one may use at Mykonos Bay Hotel and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Vicky, who we rent our quadbikes from was also so helpful and friendly!
Bathroom in a quadrupple room was tight and small like most european hotels. I suspect our room was a double room with 4 single beds, but we only slept in the room so it was fine, but a bit expensive for what it is
Breakfast buffet Good location Good service and employees
No internet in the room
Friendly staff even let us check out late. Very helpful with everything. Close to the city 5 min up the hill and quiet away from the city noise. Nice balcony with water view. Rooms a bit small but that everywhere in Mykonos.
The breakfast selection is not great. Shower bath tub was tiny with a step.
- very-very nice, friendly and helpful receptionist lady, Vicky who helped us in answering all our questions and giving us hints where to go, eat etc. - recepction is open 24/7 - gay-friendly hotel - wonderful sea-view from the balcony of the room, and from the reception area also - our room was cleaned every day (which cannot be said from all other hotels) - free transfer available from airport to hotel, and back (in case you request it in advance)
- internet is only available at the reception area, and there it is very slow - during breakfast time when everyone was using it, it was hardly available... this is very annoying - the "double" bed in our room was very small size, very uncomfortable, in reality it was too beds put together - mattress of the bed was very uncomfortable, too soft, when you sit on it, it subsides - air condition (AC) is very old and it is not being cleaned, you can easily get sick because of it for days (cough, sipping nose, tearing eyes etc.) - there is no hair dryer in the room, you have to ask for one at the reception - after that, you cannot use it in the bathroom, as there is no electricity plug in the bathroom, so you can only use it in the room... - too few furniture in the room and they are all old-fashioned - too few electricity plugs in the room, not enough if you want to charge your tablet, phone, etc.
Good position, nice landscape, breakfast is ok, staff very nice, possibility to have shower in the common places after check out, free transfer from and to airport
Room too light and too expose to wind, breakfast is ok, comfort of bed not that much, no wifi in the rooms
The staff were really helpful and the hotel is in a quiet location. Pick ups from the port and airport were excellent. The price was much lower on our second stay and felt right for the standard of the accomodation. The view from the rooms is lovely.
The rooms are getting a bit dated and need refurbishing. It felt expensive for what it was at the price we paid for the first stay, but Mykonos is an expensive place. The walk in to town is on a busy road with no pavement and whilst this is no fault of the the hotel it wasnt the most pleasant of walks
Our driver to and from the port was very helpful!
The worst sleep of our trip the beds are horrendous! The shower is extremly small! Also please fix your balconies as they are a health and saftey hazard
The hotel itself is simple and modest. But Viki and Rania, the front desk attendants make all the difference. They were super! Very prestative and helpful to whatever you need. The location of the hotel is also excellent. Only 500 mt from the shops and restaurants. And you can't find, easily, eitheir a pay parking and much less a free parking lot. The view was wonderful. If you don't want to rent a car, a Moto or quadricycle, there is a beach just crossing the street.
Beds are not king size. They provided a single bed and that's was ok.. There are few taxi in the island and it is impossible to call up one from anywhere. So, the location is still more important.
I stayed along with my wife as part of our honeymoon. The rooms were spacious with fantastic Aegean Sea views from private balcony.
Very friendly and helpfull staff. Just about 100 meters down there is the beach with a nice taverna. To the center of Mykonos town it is a 10 minutes walk but nothing that disturbed us. If you are looking for a good hotel that is not directly in the city I would definitely recommend this one. Prices are all a bit high on Mykonos so nothing to complain about that. The breakfast was nothing special but good; especially the choclate pie was very delicious. We also rented bikes thorugh the reception and everything worked perfectly. They event brought the bikes to the hotel such that we could start directly from there.
The proximity to town, including the bus stop for the buses to the beaches. The view from the balcony of the sea view room as unexpected and amazing.
The air conditioning barely worked, it was very hot in our room while we slept.
Location opposite a beach. Helpful staff. Transfers to port and airport. Fabulous room with tasteful decoration and with big furnished balcony. Good buffet breakfast.
No wifi in room only in the ground floor reception area.
everything is nice
The hotel is right on the beach which is lovely & about 10-15 mins walk to the main bus terminal and about 20-25 mins walk into the main square. Location wise- this was great! The rooms were clean & the staff were helpful. Free transfers to and from the airport/port were really appreciated and don't very efficiently.
Our room was a lot smaller than advertised online. The shower nozel was hand held only and couldn't be plugged into the wall - this meant we had to shower with one hand. Our outdoor lights didn't work meaning we couldn't see on our balcony at night & had to use our phones for light to see the key hole. The wifi is only available in the reception area and not in individual rooms- it was also very slow. No tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms also.
The room size, the cleanliness and the balcony were all good aspects of the hotel . There is megalli beach right across the road and a restaurant ASWELL as a small mini mart which we found convenient.
The location of the hotel was ok however it was extremely windy and to get to the town, it was an uphill trek which got fairly annoying and was unsafe at night due to no street lights . It was about a 10 minute walk [if taking your time] to get to the busy town of Chora however I would recommened a quad bike or scooter when arranging a stay here. The outstanding dislike of the stay was the reception staff. A lady with short hair was extremely rude and unhelpful . Due to its location being windy, the windows and doors were constantly making a noise whilst sleeping and throughout the whole day. There is only wifi in the lobby which We found extremely annoying. It wasn't the best stay ever, but it wasn't the worst either. I would only return if I couldn't find a cheaper , more closer to town hotel.
Away from all the business and right on the water. Beach was okay but better beaches require travel.
The helpfulness of the staff and the fact that they seemed happy and willing to help at all times ! Would always recommend and will be going back to again ! Most of all nothing was to much trouble ! 5*****
the location and the size of the room.
The hotel is quite close to the centre of town, the walk is not hard to make for most people and is not dangerous, as some reviewers claim. It is very clean, the view is beautiful, the breakfast is fine (great yogurt). We had to stay one night only at the hotel before going on a yacht trip, and the hotel staff brought us from the airport and to the port, and allowed us to leave our luggage all day at reception even after check out (check out of the hotel was at 10am, check into yacht was at 5pm). The transfers are VERY GOOD because it is impossible to find a taxi in Mykonos. There are only a handful of them.
We had to carry our own luggage to our room, which was up quite a few flights of stairs. The receptionists weren't too interested in helping us out, maybe because we were there for one night only. We booked a 4-bed room but a friend cancelled last minute - the hotel changed us to two bedrooms instead without asking if we'd like to continue with the 4-bed (which we had paid for, would have preferred, but for one day only didn't want to change rooms and carry the luggage around again.)
