“The staff was really friendly, and always happy to help. The hotel is next to a metro station, rooms are cleaned every day, it is cheap next to all the intesting and touristic points (at just 2 or 3 metro stations). There are free wifi and good air-conditioning (warn and cold), and even you can have a good time with your neighbors of room.”

Hotel Staff were excellent and the location could not have been better It is a bit tricky to cross the road in front of the hotel. The area gets shady after dark but nothing serious if you are alert

The hotel staff is super friendly! We were greeted with warm smiles and a friendly "hello," "good morning," etc. whenever they saw us. The receptionist even tried to teach us how to say "good morning" in Greek the first morning, which was really sweet. The manager (I think) was also knowledgeable about areas and highlighted places on a map for us to reference. It is right by the Metaxourgio stop (about 2 min walk) which is 2 stops from Acropoli. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, although a bit small for a double. There is also ice cold air conditioning which you can control, and was nice to have if it had been super hot. You can get a non-smoking room, but if someone else is smoking in a room next to you, you will smell it! It was so bad one night I actually woke up from it! The rooms are also nothing special, a little on the ghetto side, awkwardly set-up, and the bathroom is insanely small! And I'm very skinny! It was nearly impossible to close the door once inside the bathroom because you were in the way of the door shutting. The area surrounding the hotel is also awful! We made the mistake of walking around the first night and were very, very nervous and got lost. It was rather scary, but we learned and didn't do it again, and made sure to stay around the Plaka district and other tourist-y areas to be a little safer. Breakfast is also not in the hotel, but in a partner hotel across the street and is nothing special. Essentially if you are looking for a place to sleep, take a shower in the morning and have a light breakfast then this is the place. If you are expecting anything more than that you will probably be disappointed. I loved the staff, but next time I will probably pay a little extra and stay in the Plaka district, especially seeing as that is where we were all the time anyway.

Good location for sightseeing. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. For the price its a good deal. We only stayed one night in Athens so it worked out for us. You don't want to get back to your hotel after midnight because the street isn't too safe. Bed wasn't the greatest.

Basic hotel but very reasonably priced, walking distance from the tube station Metaxourgio (but for 4 people it is often better to take taxi if you travel fairly locally and once you've negotiated a fixed price!), very nice breakfast in a bar accross the road. Mr Yannis at the reception was extremely helpful with invaluable advice and many practical tips. You couldn't wish for a better person in his possition! Many thanks.

The staff was really friendly, and always happy to help. There are free wifi and good air-conditioning (warn and cold), and even you can have a good time with your neighbors of room. Nothing is perfect, and this applies to this hotel. The owner should consider changing the main doors of the rooms as you can listen everything through the ventilation slot they had. Also although windows are new, from 8:00am it is hard to sleep as it seems to be one of the noisiest streets of Athens (traffic). TV hasn´t international channels. The owner and the other hotel close to Nafsika should request the council a crosswalk for going to the metro, it is dangerous crossing the street where cars and motorbikes go to high speeds. The area doesn´t seem to be dangerous, but don´t expect to find a Nobel premium there. The dangerous neighbourhood is Omonia, not this. Anyway, the price was definitely worth it.

The staff was really friendly, and always happy to help. My room had a view of the Acropolis (but most rooms don't). The price was definitely worth it. The location was kinda good since it was near the metro, and there were quiet a few decent cheap places to eat. A lot of reviews will knock the neighborhood, but it's the same problems in most of Athens outside the few ritzy areas. The bathroom was way too small for me. The toilet seat was cheap plastic, and felt on the urge of breaking (I'm around 220lbs). The shower seemed to leak all over the floor no matter what, and there seemed to be mold in the bathroom floor because of it. Rooms not really sound proof so it might be a bit loud if it was more busy.

Basic budget hotel in Athens. Breakfast across the street was ok, but not spectacular. Hard beds, small showers in rooms, noisey old building, smells of cigarette smoke.

The hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk to one of the central metro stations Metaxourghio. The stuff was nice - they made sure we were in the airport on time (our plane left in the middle of the night). The room was clean and the decor was nice. There was free wi-fi and ac. The balcony was very small and the view from it... Well, there was total absence of any view. It faced a grey concrete wall, there was nothing else you could see. But it had an upside too! Because of the wall right in front of our balcony the sunlight was completely blocked and the room felt pleasantly cool in spite of the heat of 36 degrees outdoors.

Staff were friendlyat hotel, bed and bedding very clean and comfortabe also towels clean and in good supply Very close to tube station which was clean and cheap to anywhere in Athens and surrounding area. Good value for money, if you are not too fussy for staying in a tierd hotel in need of a good facelift. One of the male staff aquired us a private taxi for which we paid double the price ( 30euro) to go to the harbour to catch our ship, use the yellow cabs and ask the price beforehand(15euro). Area is a lot to be desired, drunks and junkies about, we saw one couple injecting themselves in a lane to the side of the hotel, when asking a shopkeeper about it she replied that it happened a lot. If you go out at night take a cab or stay out of the side streets.
