Location, friendly helpful staff, excellent facilities, clean, very good breakfast, the fact that there was a cafe attached so you have access to food & drink.
Good location, very near the central area. Even if a bit crowded, the rooms have everything one might need, including AC, TV, fridge and safe box. If you are bent on visiting Athens, or just crashing somewhere for the night, this is a good spot to do so. The breakfast buffet was also decent.
I don't know if this applies to many rooms, but ours had the AC supply unit in the balcony and the air it was blowing made it uncomfortable to smoke there. Some dirty plates at breakfast, but we promptly received replacements.
+Rooms +Cheap price +Easy to reach
-The restaurant of the hotel was really, I mean REALLY, slow. (about 1h to take an order, although only few people inside).
Very close to metro line that leads to Sintagma square and Acropolis. Locked parking is available in an open yard, few hundred meters away. Pleased to have had two bathrooms and two separate spaces in the room with four beds. Very convenient if you want to have a few days of site seeing in the city. A big Carrefour supermarket is near.
It's 30 minutes walking to the "touristic" center, which can be too much if it's a middle of a summer - BUT the metro station is 3 minutes from hotel. Rooms were clean and large enough for a city-trip. In this part of Athens, you can really park for free in the street, which for us was important.
Breakfast could be better. It's OK, but it's the same every day and you only get few items to choose from. But I guess for the price, it's OK.
Friendly and helpful staff. Very close to Larissa metro station, parked rental car near hotel and rode the metro into downtown Athens. Triple room was a bit narrow but room was clean. Bathroom a bit small but everything worked, except no closing shower/curtain or door, but that is fairly the case in all Greece. Good breakfast and friendly staff, all in all good value for money. Two elevators to the rooms. Wifi in rooms, not fast but it worked. Towels, sheets clean. Good location for 2 nights visit in Athens. Small balcony and views of small sport park in front of hotel.
No closing shower door, only partly enclosed shower.
The best hotel owner ! Stuff were very nice and friendly
Not much, unfortunately. It was close to the metro and only a few stops to get to the Acropolis. Free breakfast.
We had the quadruple room (which was basically just two doubles with the door open in between). The beds were small, very low, and on wheels which slid way too easily around on the floors. The floors creak REALLY badly and feel like the laminate is going to crack and come up at any time. When we arrived, one of our bathrooms had towels all over the floor and the floor was flooded with water. The staff always seemed bothered by us or inconvenienced by our presence and questions. Breakfast very basic (cereal, fruit, bread, boiled eggs) and there was no water, only orange juice, milk, and coffee.
The bathroom was extremely tiny
The price and the cleanliness.
A bit too far from the city centre but I already knew that.
Clean, comfort rooms. Near metro station. We had a parking space in front of the door.
We enjoyed our stay at Nana Hotel. The hotel staff is very nice. All value for money
The location is close to acropolis, and other attractions, and also to Larissa station. From airport we came by metro, had to change metro only at syntagma. We booked quadruple room, but to our pleasant surprise, it means 2 rooms connected to each other, perfect for two couples. The lady at reception helped to arrange a car for us and also ferry tickets.
The breakfast is minimal, some croissants, cereal, fruit etc. the bathroom is very small, but clean. For the low price, it is ok.
The only good thing is that it is next to the metro station and you can move easily to the center of Athens! One of the receptionists was very pleasand and friendly one of the other things I liked! NOTHING ELSE IS GOOD!
Too much noise. If you cant sleep while you listen some cars and bikes passing by the main road then you should not choose this hotel! Even with the air condition on the noise is strong and with the balcony doors closed of course. The bathroom cannot fit a person over 90 kilos. Dimensions of the bathroom are approximately 120*x120. Yes I know it is really small! The sink was cracked. Breakfast! The second worst breakfast I had in a hotel ever! I was hungry every day in the morning! I was laughing the first day after I saw the breakfast! Too much money for the facilities the hotel has! No wifi in the rooms only in the lobby you can get signal! Nothing close by, you need to go to another part of the town to buy something to eat or for something to buy!
Excellent location, the room was better than what we expected
Close to the station
Every one smokes in Athens
Very small room and bathroom
The location is very good. It is near the train - metro station. Also, the staff is really friendly and helpful.
1. The bathroom in the room that we stayed was really small. 2. No curtain or door in the shower 3. Only one hanger for the towels (in a triple room) 4. Τhe bathroom products were nearly enogh for one person, not for three. 5. The shutters couldn't be closed properly. 6. The smell of cagarettes was very heavy (we had asked fod a nonsmokers room) 7. The breakfast choices vere less than poor
can't beat the price. Hotel is clean
Don't walk around the neighbourhood. You will not like what you find. A few streets away and you're in the slums of Athens.
Location is not bad
Very small rooms and bathrooms, also breakfast is very poor
The location, value for money
Great location. Easy to find. Close to metro and railway station. Nice breakfast.
Lots of smoke at lobby.
You are not allowed to have guest. So if you know someone in Athens and they come to visit you, hotel staff will tell them that they have 5 minutes to stay and then they have to leave. I don't remember that it was stated when i booked hotel.
Close to Archeological Museum and to train station, including Metro. Nice cafes in park nearby. Accommodation old fashioned but reminding me of the good old days. All quite ok
Nothing to dislike really
Very convenient as price, distance from metro station; walking distance from central area.
extremely noisy during the night because of the traffic, especially motorcycles.
