Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location excellent, cleanliness superb, cleaned everyday and fresh towels fantastic price. Get them to order you a taxi from and to airport its cheaper 20 euro.
Kitchen didn't have anything if you did want to cook or make snack, we didn't but its the only down side if you didn't want to eat out.
Very good service! Clean environment! Friendly staff! Good location!
The place is very close to the old harbour and in the centre of old-Chania
No warm water! Everything else as expected for 22,50 €
1. Large Room 2. Location
The room was spacious and light.
There were no cooking facilities which I had expected.
We had one double bed and two singles. A small kitchen and a huge lounge with giant flatscreen TV. Really only after a bed for the night so this was a total surprise. Tasteful decor, amazing mezzanine bedroom with wrought iron staircase. Luxury. Really quiet on top floor and no late light bars nearby. Even nice free shower gel!
Not sure the sheets were 100% cotton? We were both a little uncomfortable.
This is a hotel located in the centre of the old town of Chania. So everything is near to you, the staff is cool and friendly, the rooms are clean, the territory is quite enough and the wifi internet is free.
The balcony has structural problems, it should be fixed asap.Because of the fact that is located in the historic centre of Chania, it is hard to be reached by car. In addition no elevator is availabe, so it is not appropriate for old or disabled persons.
Great location close to harbour in the old town.
Very noisy neighbours. Bed was hard, basic decoration.
The room was spacious and clean. Very nice shower but small (typical size for Europe). Location in Old Town was fantastic! We would stay here again!
Breaker for shower was turned off somehow so we didn't have hot water for about half an hour. Firm mattress.
Can't fault it. Really nice place.
The location is first class and in truth couldn't be a lot better. The room was very clean. The bed I found to be very comfortable. I would recommend Chania itself.
I didn't actually get to stay in the hotel but was housed in another building about 15 houses away so it is impossible for me to say what the original hotel was like. The house I was in looked like it had a new ceiling and flooring installed all made of wood and although I was at the back of the building and there was no street noise the sound of people walking about upstairs was very loud. There was no kettle in the room only one sliding door on the shower instead of two and it would have been nice to have more than two coat hangers.
I picked this hotel because of its good location, price and reviews. It was quite easy to find, in the centre of town surrounded by shops and restaurants. The hotel is a minutes walk from the venetian harbour. The owner showed us to our room on the first floor, facing the shops etc. the room was nicely decorated, In particular we liked the stoned walls. The bed was comfortable. There was a small kitchen with a fridge with minimal utensils. The bathroom was clean, the shower was good. The room was clean. There was a cupboard and chest of drawers. Our price did not include breakfast, but we ate in the town centre. Overall: good location, average price but the noise let it down.
To note: parking is difficult and roads are one way. The shower door had a huge crack in it so we had shower with the door open. Lighting was not the greatest in the room or hallway and we ended up tripping a couple of times. The main issues: it was noisy on the street, early morning and in the evening, mainly tourists and musicians. Also, we could here people above us walking and moving, it was difficult to sleep at times.
The owner was very kind, the rooms are beautiful decorated! We had 2 great days at Chania! The hotel is located in the old town and 2 min. from the harbor, in the middle of cute little streets.
Unfortunately we got a room with a wooden floor above us, and very noisy guests who had taken apart by 7 clock in the morning apparently the hotel...sleeping was not possible. You hear every step on that floor..
It was everything amazing. There is nothing that we was need and we didn't have it in our room . The room was being cleaned every day. The bath was fabulous and it is in the best location in the port.also the owners were very friendly and adorable.
Wonderful location, big rooms, decent kitchen facilities.
It wasn't clear that you had to check in at the gelato shop next door. Also, the lighting in our first bedroom was very poor, with some missing bulbs.
Very noisy on the street and in the building.
Very close to the old harbor, restaurants, souvenir shops and the commerce street. Nice privacy. A great view from the balcony.
It is not easy to arrive to the place by car and find parking. The kitchen could have more items.
Central location. Very nice Street. 6 minutes walk to bus station 0nly 100m. to beautiful Old Port. Many Tavernas close by. Nice staff.
Can be a little noisy - but this is more than made up for by its charm and central location.
In the heart of Chania Old Town, spacious and clean room.
Bathroom in general: no support for towels, weak and small bathtub, water leaking from sink (water all over the floor), not enough light. Kitchen badly equipped. No city view, although it was sold with it. The view was to a messy backyard.
Location is excellent in the old port if Chania, out the door and in to the small streets bustling with life. Rooms at the back of the building(2& 4 probably) offer calm and a good night's sleep with open doors.Practical for drying beachware on the balcony. Comfortable bed, high ceiling.
Lack of unity and incomplete/imperfect execution of interior design.Too many switches with no function, an oven with a plug that seems to have nowhere to be plugged, bare light bulbs in the WC over the sink cabinet, a shower cabin with suboptimal water pressure, traces of unfinished or badly done work on walls, ceramics etc. It won't kill you but if you have an aesthetic standard it does bother you. Simple and perfect would have been better.Amateur.
The location is very good and the room was clean.
No warm water, the hostess was very rude and unwilling to help us. The aircondition did not work and there was a night club nearby which made it impossible to sleep with open windows due to the noise. The kitchenette could be nice if it would have been possible to use it, but nothing worked. Overall a very bad experience.
Location, Cleanliness, Room size and accessories
Poor room lighting, hard to find parking space at peak hour, price/value too high
Fantastic location in the old town, port area & excellent value for money. The room was clean with up to date decor a fridge and small kitchenette area and balcony.
The room was even better than in the photos. All the furniture were new and the cleaning service was excellent, the room was more than clean and we had everyday new towels as they told us. Althought it is located at the core of the old city it was really quiet. Really friendly and professional staff. I will stay there again next year for sure!
Not even one thing was disappointing.
big, renovated room, in the middle of old town , pretty view (top floor room), good price.
