Naxos Kalimera Apartments

El trato es bueno y las instalaciones del primer hotel son excelentes. Posteriormente decidieron cambiarnos y la calidad fue inferior

Reservamos 4 noches y el segundo día nos dijeron eso sí con muy buenas palabras, que nos cambiaban de habitación y en realidad nos cambiaron de hotel (Kallithea, creo que es su nombre). El cambio fue a otro a escasos metros, y para ir a la piscina teníamos que volver al anterior, detalle que no nos gustó nada puesto que fue para instalar a otros huéspedes, creemos que nórdicos como el resto de los huéspedes. Tras el cambio la cocina era realmente minúscula y era casi imposible poder cocinar.

Sin duda lo mejor del hotel es Boula, la propietaria, por su hospitalidad, simpatia y generosidad. Naxos, por otra parte, es una isla increible, perfecta para quienes busquen una experiencia inolvidable al margen de la masa guiri. Impresionante hotel.

Voula and her Family are making an exceptional effort to make sure that guests feel at home and have a good holiday. They even run a free Shuttle Service into town and to the beach for free.

Port transfer. Breakfast included. Rooms are huge and new, very clean, very well equipated (there is kitchen also). Beds are very comfortable. Actually is like a 4 stars hotel. Has a nice swimming pool and is located a 5 minuts from Agia Ana beach (better to be here than in Naxos town, really). There is also a bus station in agia anna so you can be in naxos in 10 minuts. However, the owners go to naxos everyday and they can take you there. Even if you have to do something in Naxos at other time they offer you to take you there. The owners are the nicest people that i have met in Greece. Greatest value for money.

Hotel is on a really nice location in Agia Anna . Rellaxing and having really friendly service from Voula . She is the "hurt" of the hotel always available to help you !!! When ever i will visit Naxos island there is no chance to go to another hotel.

The brekfast needs improovment , but Voula planning next year to organise it much better. After that i think the hotel can be the best solution in Naxos !!!

We liked the swimming pool, the breakfast and the space in and around the hotel. The owner is very helpfull. They brought us to Naxos town, every evening, to have dinner in the harbour and walk through the nice streets and picked us up at 22.30. Very good service!

We did not like to walk the road (about 15 min) to the beach with small children: very busy in July. Try the unpaved road: a little longer, but ends up at the very nice beach of Plaka. Hotel owner will bring you by their bus to the beach too, if you ask.

Naxos Kalimera provided us with the most relaxing vacation that we have had to Greece to date. The location of the hotel suit us perfectly since we were looking for a calm and peaceful environment. Our room was simple, very comfortable and always impeccably cleaned. We had a wonderfully large balcony which allowed us lots of privacy. Voula and her staff helped make our vacation perfect in every way. They offered assistance with whatever we needed and were always available. Their friendliness and thoughfulness never ceased. We highly recommend Naxos Kalimera for those looking for a relaxing Greek island getaway. Bjorn & Kristina

Voula was an excellent host and we had a fantastic time, would definitely recommend it for all couples and families!

Loved it, only suggestion is to include some fruit with breakfast.

If you are staying in Naxos then you won't do better than staying here. I don't think you can beat the value for money we got through our reservation at Booking.com ... and breakfast was included. The room was spacious and we had a private balcony. The swimming pool was never busy and there were enough sunloungers if you chose not to use the beach. The area was still and quiet at night. However the main benefit is the owner who could not do enough. We arrived early due to our flight change and she made sure our room was ready asap even though it was several hours before check in. She even suggested we help ourselves to breakfast while we waited. When we asked for a taxi to the ferry terminal she asked why we wanted to spend money on that as her brother could take us - which he did at no charge. The owner sorted out ferry tickets for us and did not take a commission. It was these small things which set this hotel apart from most others we've stayed in.

The things which may be of concern to others - but certainly not us. The beach was about fifteen minutes walk - which we enjoyed but might be a bit of a distance for toddlers. However the hotel even offers to drive you down to the beach if you want one. The town centre is 15 minutes drive away - but again they lay on a free trip each evening which was perfect for us...and there are a few restaurants next to the beach you can walk to. Being away from the town centre meant a quiet and peaceful hotel - which is what we wanted. There was nothing we did not like about the hotel and personally we think that the owners have gone out of their way by providing free transportation if anyone is concerned about the location.

Some people may think the location is not ideal, but we did not think it was a problem, it took us just under 10 minutes to walk down to the beach. It is worth it as the place is really tranquil and there seem to be less mosquitoes than other places. The kitchen is not well equipped for very long stays but for our four day stay it was fine.

We can not fault our stay at Kalimera apartments. From the moment we arrived Voula and her family were extremely welcoming, very helpful and hospitable. Our studio was lovely, spacious clean and bright and we had a fabulous view from our veranda over the countryside. Nothing was too much trouble but we were also left alone to do our own thing.

The studio was very comfortable and clean. Easy access to Ag. Anna beach, also easy access to town. View was great. Our kid really enjoyed the swimming pool. We will never forget Voula and Apostolis, owners of "Naxos Kalimera" because they really care about their customers and they are so gentle people!!! We had a really great Easter at Naxos so we absolutely recommend this hotel!!!
