Hotel Matina is in a great location, in one of the finest parts of the island, right in the heart of Mykonos Town, with access to all major points of interest.

Situated right over Megali Ammos Beach in Mykonos, the Cycladic-style Akrotiraki is a 10-minute walk from the scenic town centre.
Score from 257 reviews Very good
I loved that this hotel was owned and operated by a family. It gave the place a much more homey vibe. The rooms were cleaned daily and the wifi was excellent. The showers were a little small but it was still quite manageable. The location is excellent! Just a short walk down the hill and you're in the heart of Mykonos city! Such great value and incredible hospitality, I would definitely stay here again!
Tiny shower stall
Hotel location is 2 blks from edge of "the Mykonos action" yet quiet, very clean room, great friendly family and non-family staff. The views are spectacular. Engage "George" (former teacher) in conversation for interesting Gk word history. Great teacher!
That I missed knowing George was so interesting to talk to about the Greek language, word origins and their introduction into the English language. Wish I knew earlier in my stay. Made the trip to Mykonos and this hotel a big plus.
Upon arrival and departure, Mr. Nazos was there to personally great us and make sure we had everything we needed. Each room has a little patio with two chairs and an amazing view of the city.
Hotel Nazos is located on the top of a very steep hill, so be prepared for some leg workouts.
Amazing people, great location, would go back in a heartbeat.
Bad wifi- as with most places in Greece!
Great location, lovely helpful staff, large clean room! The only fault is there is no swimming pool and it's a 10 minute bus ride to the beach.
Nice family, good service
The bathroom, the shower too small, half broken difficult to take a nice shower because the shower curtain touchs your body which I personally hate
Location is close to the main town, close to the bus station and generally easy access by foot to anywhere in Mykonos town.
staff and location
The steep hill from the hotel to the town
Super little hotel in the heart of Mykonos run by a lovely, warm, accommodating family! Affordable with idyllic views, would definitely recommend!
A short walk to Mykonos shopping and restaurants Family run and were made to feel very welcome Offered a lift to the ferry Breakfast at additional cost was reasonably priced with a good range of menu items
The owner is very friendly and kind, very nice hotel and with good views of sea
Location location location. Good One star hôtel
The least interesting was the breakfast. Would have appreciated something more homemade/traditional
The staff and the Owner Mr. George were very friendly , the location is verygood, we will book in this hotel for next summer
Shuttle transfer from the airport. Very nice staff. Reasonable price, cheap and delicious breakfast. Very good location. Highly recommended.
Next time we will ask for a room with a nicer view :-)
All the family were very kind and helpful. George was especially generous with his time and hotel minibus, both collecting us and taking us to the airport. Great location, lovely garden to sit in and superb views. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you to all the Nazos family.
The hotel is like a typical cyclade house, the atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is very helpful and kind, they answered all our questions. It's not a wrong option if you think how expensive is mykonos.
To get the hotel, you have to walk through a road with lot of traffic and without sidewalk, its dangeous!! Also you have to go up a steep climb... So the location is not good. Other negative thing is that the breakfast wasnt included and the price is expensive, 7 euros per person.
Let me start by saying that I typically do not write reviews. Whether the experience was good or bad it had passed and I would make my own future decisions based on that experience. However, I thought that was unfair as I also rely on these reviews to make my travel accommodations. Hotel Nazos is different. My stay at Hotel Nazos has stayed with me and for that reason I hope to share that experience with you. The beautiful boutique hotel is located on a hill overlooking the port and is a short ride after arriving by ferry. It is a very short walk to the town center (approx. 2-3 city blocks) where you will find all of the best restaurant/shops on the island. This is also the best area to rent an 4-wheeler/moto for exploring the island and its beaches. The staff (family) could not have been more accommodating. I had the privilege of getting to interact with all of them and I can honestly say they treated me like I was family. So much so, I have already recommended it to my own family. I will without a doubt be stay there on my next visit to Mykonos! So on your next trip make sure you stop in to Hotel Nazos and let George know Alexander (a Greek-American traveling to Mykonos for the first time) sent you. You will not regret it.
The short distance walk from the center of town
That the walk was uphill on the way back with no lights and in traffic's way
Niko was absolutely lovely and very nice to pick us up and drop us off at the port upon arrival and departure. Thank you
The giant hill to get to the appartment but you get use to it :)
George and his family are a beautiful family, they picked us up from the airport and dropped us off. Room has a balcony with a cute view. Hotel is on a steep hill to walk up and down only a few minutes max, but good exercise for all the amazing food. Pretty good value for money, 5 minute walk to Mykonos town.
Bathroom was small.
Small and friendly pretty family hotel away from the maddening crowds but just five minutes from the alleyways of Hora. The hotel will drive you to the port or airport without extra charge.
Bathroom a bit small and old fashioned but not really an issue for an overnight stay.
Hotel Nazos is located very close to the main area in Mykonos town, very close to get down to the windmills and Little Venice. The owner picked us up from the port and dropped us as the airport at no extra charged. Wish was great, no where els in Greece this happened. We only stayed one night. The room was clean and comfy.
The hill up to the Hotel is very steep and we had a lot of steps going up to our room. It might not bother some one els, but I had a serious leg operation a few years back and it was quite tough getting around. The bathroom is very small and the hair dryer can only be used by someone with short / thin hair. It heats very quickly and then burn your hands.
friendly staff transfer to/from port great view from room short walk into town
located up a very very steep hill (not too much of an issue for us but might be for older/less fit travellers) small-ish room but suited our needs fine
