Nectarios VillaMain Street, 84700 Firá (Show map) Wonderful, Score from 266 reviews“Very friendly owner & included (free) airport transfers. 'Katerina' also insisted on driving me to the wedding I was attending (again as a favor & free of charge). The villa was a small, homely place, very well situated close to the center of Fira. A great place to stay for the price.”

Katerina, her kids, Rommels the puppy and the housmaid, they were all very helpful and polite, if we needed anything it was attended to. Katerina was there to pick up and deliver us to the airport all free of charge, lovely family and villa. Rooms were beautiful and very clean. The scenery is of the eastern beach side (airport) side. Not the caldera side, but much easier to access your villa. Only a short walk to the main street (where you can hire all vechicles),, albeit up a steep hill, but managable. Not ideal for children at all. Breakfasts were different everyday and always had a milky dish, cake and toasted sandwich, plus juice, coffee and fruit most days. Only negative on being on this side was the noisy 4 wheelers and motor bikes powering their way up the steep streets close by, but considering the very reasonable rates a good compromise, didnt distrurb sleep, but I would imagine in the peak season it must get very noisy...had a great week though..thanks alot! Jsut the noisy 4 wheelers which you wouldnt get if you stay at Oia or the Caldera side, but be prepared to pay alot more for the privelege!

Katerina, her husband and Adriana were fantastic--always there to help in a very courteous manner. The husband was at the airport to pick me up, but we missed each other due to a email problem--thank you, anyway! Katerina took me to the port when I was departing. The facility was very very nicely decorated and very comfortable.and clean. I would recommend it to anyone. The personally-served breakfasts were excellent!!! Thank you for everything!! The Villa actually has two buildings approximately 100 feet apart. The only frustration was that the building I was in, which was not the main building, did not have wifi internet. I needed to walk to the main building a number of times to use my notebook computer internet to research and plan other parts of my trip. But, everything else definitely compensated for this item.

Delightful friendly reception from the enchanting Katherina. Very helpful (drove us to port, met us at bus station, arranged further accommodation. Nice breakfast served on trays. Well equipped rooms (though tv has only Greek channels). WiFi throughout. Nice view to south coast.Adorable puppy Romeos. The road to the centre is lethal with all the quad bikes, cars and virtual absence of pavements. It isn't a long distance but for more aged travellers there's a lot of up and down to get to the villa.

This is a great place to stay. It is our first time to be at this island. The owners are very considerate, friendly and caring, meeting all needs. They gave us this sweet "honeymoon like" suite, comfortable, clean and cozy. The breakfast is fantastic, oh, you will not get the same breakfast every day, which made us wonder/guess what will be next day, very tasty. They provide free transportation service to ferry and airport, helping us to get taxi, and good food place. Since my wife is pregnant, they put extra consideration and services for her. Whatever we described here could not cover everything we have experienced, so, try this place, you will not regret!! No. We love everything.

The owners of the villa were extremely friendly and kind throughout the stay. Whenever I saw them just outside the hotel, they gave a great smile to me. They brought breakfast to my room just on time everyday. It was wonderful to sit outside in the morning and watch the sunrise. You can not expect the kind of closeness to the local if you stayed in a large hotel! I had some difficulties connecting to wifi once in a while.

This is one of the best hotel I have ever stayed. I recommend it because of the excellent quality compared to the price. The hosts are so friendly and hospitable as they offered us food meal and shuttle service. Besides they were willing to help us which made me so moved. Once again, excellent hotel, clean room and helpful hosts!

The people running it were terrific, small but comfortable and very clean accomodations. There is a little kitchenette in the room. Simple but good breakfast is included. There is a shared deck that has views but it is not on the caldera side. It is a short walk to the main area(less than 5 minutes). Great value, would definitely stay there again. It is hard to find so request a pickup at the airport.

The port transfers, and the warm welcome. The owners were extremely friendly and obliging, nothing was too much trouble, they even did our washing free, and sent us on our way with a dvd of Santorini as a present. The hilly walks to the town were the only thing that one could complain about, but they were not a problem either.

The owners are amazing , very helpful, they make you feel right at home and if you ask for something they always do there best to accommodate all your needs. The first day we arrived at Fira, we got lost ,,, it seemed very few people knew the location of our hotel, even the tourist office did not know where Nectarios Villa was . My advice to people who are going to book this hotel is ask Nectarios to pick them up from the airport cause other wise they would never be able to find it .

The hotel faces the east side of island, thus offering a wonderful view of sunrise and tranquil moonlight on the sea surface, we even see the moon rise! The room is nicely decorated by the hostess, new, clean and comfortable. The hostess will send breakfast to your sea-viewing balcony every morning. Free transportation to the port and airport by the warmly host. Not in the town center of Fira, but it is not far from the cathedral and quite convenient to everywhere. If you want to save money from staying in hotel facing the west side and volcano, Nectarios Villa is a good choice, recommended! Breakfast is the same everyday.

The hotel location was difficult to find. We got lost. The owner came to picks us up. I guess the problem is with how houses are addressed. It seems like every house has the address of Main Street. It is a problem with the whole town, no reflection on the hotel itself. We love our room, very private and nicely maintained and decorated. We enjoyed the balcony where we can watch the sun rises; it is not as pretty as sun set, but without the crowd. Due to its location, it is very quiet. It is less than 10 minutes walk to town. We actually like the distance away from the center of the town because it is very touristy in the town. The owner is very nice. To me, included breakfast is standard but to the local people, it is good.

Nice place at a great price for Santorini. Katarina was helpful and Nectario picked us up from the ferry and drove us to an very early flight at no extra charge!. Its a steep uphill walk to town, but not far. Our room was not large, but not cramped either, had something of a kitchenette and was very clean and well cared for. Not a special or elegant place for our tastes (although it has a beautiful view), but well worth the very reasonable cost. Slippery floor tile (particularly when wet) in bath and main room when it rained. Steep climb to town would be a problem for many people. Katarina can be a little bit fierce and abrupt, although she is charming as well.
