The staff was so kind and the place was very clean and was always being cleaned. Train station was a 5 minute walk away so you could get anywhere. Not many food places around the hotels specific area, but with transport you can get to a good food place in 10min! Breakfast wasn't extravagant; white toast, cereal, cakes. But if you're going for a cheap good place to stay, this is great! Had a wonderful experience.
One guy of the reception is not helpful at all and very stubborn. The wifi in the room is useless. When the breakfast place is closed in the night (not really very late), it's only possible to use internet in the staircase. Breakfast cannot be simpler.
Location is great close to trainstation and the metro. Rooms are big and clean. Hotel is clean, staff helpful. Hotel was really cheap and much better then anticipated.
The breakfest is limited. Rooms on the street are noisy.
excellent value for money closev to train nice breakfast good hot showers
like most train areas a bit rough
The staff was friendly. When they found that I was pregnant, they moved me to a better room on the bottom floor. The breakfast was consistent -- corn flakes, white bread with ham and cheese, and plain cakes. The location is very close to 2 convenient metro stops. Fast food or cafes nearby. Fine hotel for the price.
We experienced two rooms in this hotel. Our first room was on the top floor, and the beds were horrible. We could feel every spring. The showerhead didn't attach to the wall. The second room had a much nicer bed and better shower but it leaked water all over the bathroom.
Staff is very nice and helpfull.
Hotel is very noisy as location is right on the busy street even when windows are not directly headed to the street. Impossible to have a good sleep. Breakfast is very poor. Only a toast bread, cheap ham and chees and tasteless margarine as a butter. Only good thing was coffee.
Lovely old building with fairly large rooms. Beautiful spiral staircase. Big comfortable lounge area. We felt completely safe walking back at night using the main road (the police station is a few blocks away). Easy walk into city centre if you are reasonably fit and two metro stations just a few hundred yards away (Metaxourgio and Larissa) if you are not. Basic but OK breakfast free. Nice restaurants and bars a few streets behind the hotel and an occasional street market there too . The price was really cheap and very good value.
Noisy main road could be annoying if you had the windows open but we didn't. No fridge.
clean, quiet, close to city center...
The location, the breakfast with toast, ham, chese, cornflakes, jucie and a good cake and tee or coffe.
Very helpful and friendly staff, nothing was problem.
Our Room was very comfortable and nicely furnished. We were on the 3rd floor and still had a fine wifi signal. The staff were very pleasant and the balcony was a nice addition to the room for the price. The breakfast was also a great deal for the cost, with coffee, juice, sweet breads and spreads, ham and cheese, toast, and cereal. Very close to the metro, which is easy to navigate. Only 4 stops from Acropolis.
We were very pleased with everything. It was an excellent stay.
Nice decor...Close from a metro station...Good benefit-cost ratio.
Bad WI-FI signal in the room.
Nothing much, may be free WiFi and near to metro station
Service, staff - unwilling to help, very small room, shower too small and no proper shower option, room not insulated lot of noise from traffic, no lift, bugs in room
design, beautiful style, furnitures, 15-20 min to the center on foot, nice stuff
there's a little traffic noise, but it wasn't a big problem for me; breakfast isn't healthy at all - I recommend to have your own vegatables if you need
the comment is about DELTA HOTEL(reservation has been changed,due to my fault:))excellent low budget hotel;cleaness;staff;wi-fi;
Position, staff, terrific value for money, lovely cheese and ham at breakfast, and ice cake!
Smoke from a few rooms
We needed to leave there early morning and wasn't going to be able to have breakfast. But they gave us sandwiches instead. It's helpful and good
We couldn't use wifi in our room. And around shower is not good, cos shower curtain is short so we had to make mess.
Location, helpful staff, cleanliness
Bit noisy during the night
Fine old building. Rooms clean and bed comfortable. I had only hand luggage so the lack of an elevator was not a problem. Easy walk to metro.
For our stay in Athens the hotel was perfect. We just needed a low budget place for the night which was not too far away from the main attractions (walking distance).
Who loves breakfast and likes to stay in a more touristic area should choose another hotel. BUT we didn't really expect anything else because of the low price we paid.
Convenient for metro and within walking distance of the main sites. Breakfast was good.
Rooms need updating. Not sure how clean the floors were.
Value for money
The location is too far from tourist attractions and you have to walk pass the worse part of Athens (found out after the trip when one of my Greek friends told me that Omonia is the worst part of Athens). The room wasn't clean, no light. The staff (the old man) was really unpleasant, paranoid and really rude but only the old guy, the others were fine.
Great location to reach public transport. Excellent value for money.
No elevator. Poor wifi on fourth floor.
Wifi Works only in the reception
room itself was beautiful and the bathroom was great even though the door didn't lock properly, very clean; helpful staff speaking good english
bed was really really small and the matress was "bouncy"- if you share the bed as two friends you will have horrible nights; next to a busy street so a lot of noise even at night! ; people having trouble with stairs shouldn't rent a room on a higher level since there is no elevator ; breakfast was really simple but ok
