Wifi Works only in the reception
room itself was beautiful and the bathroom was great even though the door didn't lock properly, very clean; helpful staff speaking good english
bed was really really small and the matress was "bouncy"- if you share the bed as two friends you will have horrible nights; next to a busy street so a lot of noise even at night! ; people having trouble with stairs shouldn't rent a room on a higher level since there is no elevator ; breakfast was really simple but ok
The hotel is ideally located for the Metro. Surrounding are a bit "dodgy" at places but that is not the hotels fault and seems to be the Athens "norm". We were on the second floor which was a bit of a walk up spiral staircase. On arrival the gentleman on reception did not seem the happiest guy in the world but when he smiled his character changed completely and he "lit up". The breakfast was basic but for the all inclusive price it did the job. Particularly good to the English (us!!!) was that there was a kettle next to the urn which meant we could make "proper" tea with boiling water.... and there was a good supply of teabags for us,.All in all very good for the money. Thank you
Really, really good value - EUR24 a night for a single room with en suite and breakfast - it's definitely not luxury, the breakfast is very basic (but unlimited), and it's on a main road so not good if you're a light sleeper, but for the price it was perfect. The location was absolutely fine - I walked to Syndagma in about 45 mins, or very easy to catch the underground in - and it didn't feel at all dangerous at night by myself.
Personal, service and location was grate. We got a lot of advices from receptionist and everybody speaks English well!
We had a room in the fifth floor and it is terrible with heavy bags without lift( And beds was old and seems not safe for sleep,
The young man at reception was very nice and helpful
Wifi is awkward, and room close to street, pretty noisy at night.
overall value for money
noise of traffic from the street
The Breakfast was fair enough.
Internet connection was not good in the rooms (most had to connect in the dining room). The conveniences reminded me of a scout camping environment
close to the subway, modest meals, but very well
Good location, not far from Larissa station (suburban train from the airport), actually walking distance from main attractions (though you'll have to get through rather dirty and suspicious neighbourhoods on the way).
While the location is geographically sound, it is not the jewel of Athens (a Bulgarian district, actually). The closest decent eating place is by Metaxurgio metro station.
Location is between the Larissa and Metaxourghio Metro Stations. You can buy other needs at the nearby mobile canteens, and supermarkets. Room temperature can be adjusted to your own preference. Nothing to watch on TV, but hey you're not in Athens for that. ;)
Wifi was poor in some areas/rooms. Shared shower drains overflow which was kind of unhygienic. No lift, so if you have tons of luggage, think twice shou you get booked at the 5th floor. Breakfast did not change, suggest a little bit of variety.
The hotel is close to the metro, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The needs were reasonably comfortable for European standards.
The breakfast was one of the worst I've have in Europe. After as few days we started going out for breakfast on our own. The hotel is located on a busy street with lots of vehicle noise at night. The Windows are not up to the task of killing the sound of the road. The value for the money is good, but don't let them put you on the fourth floor, too hot, too many stairs and poor doors on the rooms.
Price is good. Place is clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful
Breakfast was horrible. Toast and cereal no fruit. Location is ok but really not close to any restaurants only the metro. Beds are hard but you get what you pay for
The location, breakfast. The staff were very helpful.
No elevator. We knew it in advance but did not expect that we would have to carry on our own big luggage through 4 floors
The hotel is definitely a value for money. However our room was facing the street and the sleep was constanly interrupted. We got a new room that was relatively small but had everything that you need
The price :))) So I was not expecting much. Still, the stuff was friendly, the sheets are clean. The metro is very near, as well as the police station.
The hotel is on the big street, but not many people around...though maybe had this feeling due to the very late arrival.
Big, clean and comfortable bed. Big bathroom. Aircon worked well. Lady at reception was friendly and helpful. Hotel convenient for station and metro. Overall, a good option for a budget stay in Athens.
Hotel a littled dated, but good value for money.
Near to metro station Helpful staffs
Wifi not so good, beware of pick pocket especially in metro station
Good position, about only 1 km away from the most important sights of Athens, in a safe area. Even if the hotel doesn't have parking, there were plenty of free parking places right near the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Hotel Neos Olympos to those who travel to Athens for sightseeing.
Wi-fi didn't worked in the room, which was situated at the second floor. It worked only in the breakfast area and loby.
We stayed here 1 night a piece twice because we did a topdeck tour. The first night was great they let us check in late and the staff were helpful. Location excellent. 3 stops to sytagma square very easy to get to.
The second night was bad. They attempted to cancel the booking on 1 nights notice, I hadnt had wifi for 2 days. And tried to charge cards even though we were to pay in cash. The male manager was much better than the woman who was very rude and unhelpful Otherwise was quite nice Neighbourhood maybe a little dodgy, but only there to sleep so it was ok!
Good price Good loacation Good breakfast Rooms have air condition.
Room is not really clean.
great location near larissa stathmos and metaxourgio metro station, great staff and decent breakfast. local shops nearby. police station nearby so very safe.
very cheap hotel with a good breakfast and a nice room
close to the train station, so you have the noise from the trains.
Wifi was not so power
