We were warmly welcomed by the owner when we arrived and he freely advised us on our idea to go to Lindos and gave us written directions on the street map, that he supplied and nothing was any bother for him or his wife. The following morning the continental breakfast was excellent with savoury and sweet pallets catered for. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Niki's Pension to anyone.
The toilet paper was a bit of an inconvenience but this was found in other establishments. This
Location Friendliness eagerness to assist
Owner was very accommodating & helpful. Large room with a patio.
Incredible location within ancient walled city. Hosts were lovely and very accommodating, and in fact drove me to the Rhodes ferry when it started raining. Very clean and comfortable room. Stunning views from rooftop terrace.
I was in room 5. I enjoyed the feeling that you are actually in a Medieval town, with its silence, the silhouette of the Palace of the Great Master and a minaret against the evening sky. That was my view from one of my windows; from the other, I had a typical arched street winding its way towards the wall of the city. You have restaurants, shops, supermarket, bakery, square at 150 meters and the hub of the city at 300, but you don´t have the noise. It´s very clean, with new floating floor, good bedding, towels and a generous shower, a fridge. I did not opt for the breakfast, but bought fruit, yogurt, etc., at the nearby supermarket. There is a nice terrace with tables where you can sit and lots of plants and flowers. And Michalis and Georgia are there to advise you, to print your boarding pass, to hire a taxi for you, to have a little chat if you feel inclined, always nice and smiling, being the perfect hosts. In the old town traffic is allowed only during certain hours. In my case, since I had an early flight, I had not problems in having a taxi at the door of the hotel at 5am. Otherwise, you can ask Michalis how to go about it. On my arrival, in mid afternoon, I took a bus from the airport to the last bust stop near one of the gates and from there I just walked into the Old Town and to Niki´s, but I travel light and I love walking. I fully recommend it.
Great location, the owners are friendly, helpful and always egar to make sure you have everything you need. Wifi very reliable.
Great view of skyline of Rhodes including minarets and castle walls. Close to a great set of restaurants away from the tourist drag. Nice and quiet, but easy walking distance to town
A bit hard to get to with the bags and then no lift and lots of stairs, but that's the same in many old town centres.
The owner was very generous and helpful.
The optional breakfast wasn't exciting but one didn't need to buy it.
Good Location and proximity to old town tourist centre and restaurants - quiet area away from the main shopping tourist areas but only a short walk to both Great English speaking Greek Owner providing support to guests
Slightly tired bathrooms - bit of a hike to the upper bedrooms - bit noisy as under flight path but so is most of Rhodes
Friendly welcome, owner willing to change rooms to suit us. Lovely views over Rhodes Close to attractions
Only one thing, fresh milk would have been better for breakfast
Super position near all the facilities in the old town. Baker within 50 yards . Close to the ferry terminal for the Dodecanese line for Symi etc. Nice verandah and exciting roof views. Peace and quiet so close to hubbub.
Cobbled streets not too easy with wheels cases But a taxi can get quite near to the rooms.
Everything, the location was brilliant, there were some lovely restuarants just down the lane. The staff were lovely very pleasant, informative and happy to help. the room with balcony was gorgeous and the view of the rooftops of Rodos just amazing. Great place to chill and relax and enjoy a quite drink.
I visited this hotel twice - one with my boyfriend and one with my mother. I offer you to book the room with the balcony, cause it has a wonderful view. It is one of the best hotels I've ever been to. It is worth to visit it.
Rhodos has vary narrow streets and it's hasd to find something in it. So, buy a big map and find places you want to go in advance
Absolutely loved staying within the old town walls and Niki's was a great choice. Our room had a lovely large balcony giving us a panoramic view, and beautiful cool breezes which flowed through our room. Fridge was nice and cold and kettle was provided.
There are some pebbled streets in Rhodes which are very hard going with wheeled bags, they're not your average cobblestones! We definitely took the hard way getting to Niki's from the bus stop, but found a much easier way out to the port when leaving. Maybe Niki's could provide a map highlighting the smoother routes?
- Warm hosts - incredible roof top terrasse - perfectly located away from the touritic frenzy and close to nice restaurants
- the room and bathroom were a bit old fashioned, but still comfortable and good enough for the value
- nice terrace with view over the old city - big room - location within in the walls and streets of the old town of Rhodos - very helpful and kind owner
Location, cımfortable and the owner arevery good.
Excellent location. Friendly owners.
The hotel is a bit dated.
Nice landlords. Very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant.
Quiet, clean and friendly B&B. Well located in Old Town away from Noisy areas.
Steep steps to climb to bedroom. Difficult taxi access for arrival and departure - had to walk cobblestone Streets with luggage.
We had a wonderful week at Niki's Pension. The owners Michaelis and Georgia could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet location within the medieval walls but in a quieter spot, with plenty of good tavernas nearby. Our room was clean and had a great balcony looking out over the town. Overall, excellent value budget accommodation.
Great location in old town - very close to shops, restaurants, bars laundromat & supermarket. Great view from the top balcony. Friendly staff. Excellent value for money.
Wifi signal was not constant - worked well in mornings but other times not.
theres lots of bar and restaurant around pension.
far from new town, bathroom was really small.
