Location is definitely what makes this hotel worth staying in Helpfull staff Comfortanble room
Amazing location and view of Acropolis (top floor). Excellent breakfast and staff very helpful.
Bathroom a little small and awkward but functional.
Location was perfect, just around the corner from Syntagma square and walking distance to many tourist attractions and metro. This was ideal for us as we had to get a bus from the square to the airport early in the morning. The hotel is on a leafy side street so not noisy despite being in the middle of the city. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable and very clean. The reception and bar areas were very nicely decorated.
We would have liked a longer stay! Unfortunately, we only had one night in Athens on this trip. The hotel was perhaps a little pricey compared to other hotels of a similar standard we have previously visited in Athens.
The hotel is in a great location - we walked all over, including Plaka, the Acropolis and more. It was a nice place to say in the middle of a crazy city. Our two nights were more than enough in Athens. Staff were friendly and offered great directions and food recommendations.
As with many European hotels the bed was passable and the pillows mediocre at best.
Close to everything, clean and comfortable nice breakfast, lovely staff. Quiet and well positioned.
We got a studio room for 4 persons. The room is clean. Hotel location is good, near to town(walking distance) where it is very convenient to get public transport, restaurants, shopping etc.
Price is at the high side. Toilet is at upstairs, a bit inconvenient.
They allowed me to do a very early check-in which was really appreciated after 36 hours traveling.
Receptionist guy is friendly. He helped us a lot. Location is perfect. Metro, airport bus, central locations are nearby. Lots of cafes and bars around. Room was clean. Everyday they changed towels and made the bed. Free wi-fi.
The room had no views, it was looking at a ventilation. The window was not closing properly and so the room was a little bit cold since the air conditioner does not warm. The lock of the door was unlocking in nearly 15 seconds which is silly. The breakfast was below average. Bread, jam, milk, tea, coffee, cheese, salami and boiled egg. You can see the behind of cheese and salami slices :) There were no bathroom curtain which makes the bathroom floor all wet after taking a bath. The handle of the bathroom tap was broken. There were only shampoo and soap.
The view from the balcony at sunrise The breakfast is delicious ! The staff The decoration and quality of the bed
Not easy to park when you are back in the evening, thz city is crowded, but just wait for later hours and you are fine.
Close to everything Nice room with a big balcony Greek neighborhood Nice staaf Good resturang next door
I liked everything
Staff were the friendliest we have met on our 2 month travels so far! Perfect place to stay, walking distance to all the sites.
Internet only worked in the downstairs lounge area.
- great situation near Syntagma & acropole (just near a good small restaurant called Makalo trying to promote local products) - apparently, they failed something with our reservation of a superior room and upgraded to a huge suite called "maisonnette" which is made for at least 4 persons with 2 floors & 2 huge balconies with really fantastic view on Acropole: my rates were 90E/night, this was >200E... (but read what I didn't like now)
Suite could be luxurious with its fantastic view and huge surface (almost too much) and 2 floors except there are those embarrassing defects (typical of Athens hotels even if you pay a lot): - relatively clean room but don't look in the corners or behind the drapes - damaged wall paint, furnitures even if it seems to have been restored quite recently - correct bathroom at first sight but when looking more precisely, you can see tiles so badly layed that you wonder how they could do it so wrong, taps that you wouldn't like to touch too much not to break them - when we arrived, the air was smelling like stale due to air conditioners that seemed not so far from being ruined yet still working... - at 2nd floor, there is a fantastic view on acropole with a room with a king-size bed but it's impossible to sleep there because it's just near a huge generator/extractor for the whole hotel producing unbearable noise. So we thank the hotel team for upgrading our reservation (or I would have been quite angry) but I wouldn't have paid 210E/night for the view even if it was just fantastic! - continental breakfast buffet but no local product or any effort to make an attracting buffet: but this is also the case in most international hotels... So this is an average hotel as the ones you can find in many international big towns: you can accept to stay there for 1/2 nights but not more and you tell yourself that they could do just a few more efforts for the price and everyone would be so much happier!
The only good thing was the location.
If you are a couple, better to avoid this hotel, because they can give you a twin room, no matter how many times you asked for a double room. It is impossible to keep the beds together. Housekeepers starts the day very early and very noisy. Poor breakfast.
Dirty room Broken life's in. Bathroom poor towels Curtains filthy Extremely noisy even late into nite Air condition system weak Extremely tight spaces
Staff were helpful, location is excellent.
Room was relatively small but adequate. Basically, the hotel had no flavour of Greece. It could have been anywhere.
Location is comfortable for walk around the centre and Acropolis in a bit long walking distance but it is nice to see around .
The manager shouted to staff in the morning at breakfast which was not a pleasant thing in the morning of us . Room is ok but toilet and shower is very tiny and no curtain so wet all over .
The location is amazing.
We were charged a 'pre-authorisation' to ensure that we had money in our account. We were also charged at check-out. This pre authorisation is supposed to be refunded, but could take up to 15 days, and was the full amount of what we were to then pay again on check out. We would have preferred to pay with the original pre authorisation, as we are now out €150 as we travel onwards.
The location is perfect in athens shopping and city center, near metro and bus for airport
The room had no view.
Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Our friends and relatives could easily find us. lots of conveniencevclose by, including restaurants, beauty shop and grocery stores.
We were sad to see so many businesses closed.
Very uncomfortable mattress - Although the mattress is very uncomfortable, the location is great and compensates the disorder.
The location was amazing, just two blocks from a shooping street and from the congress park. Staff very helpfull and also honest!! I forgot my credit card in the lobby when i was leaving for the airport, and they call the taxi company to return to the hotel to get it. The could have done charges but, wow, very thankfull for the honesty. Thanks!
Good location to go sightseeing
