The room i booked on line was different to the room we were checked into, it seemed a lot smaller.
Balcony, even if you did not have a view.
We noticed our late arrival and special requests in a mail in advance. I travel with my 2 years old daughter, and for safety we would like a full bed, and not a twin. We got a twin, a smell of smoke etc. Breakfast was very simple. Beds should be changed to new ones.
Found everything are good enough on our second stay after comparing with other hotels in Greece, especially we left 2 pieces of luggage for a week for free keeping.
Close to Syntagma square and the bus to airport Close to Acropolis and other interesting spots Restaurants Nice citywalking
Small room (low price) Smoke from ventilation Hard bed 20€ extra to keep the room some hours more
Close to every places we interested in. Staffs are very nice. Wifi is good.
Room is a bit small.
This hotel's location is its main plus point. It's very easy to walk to some of the major tourist attractions in the city, including the Acropolis, Ancient Agora and even Mt Lycabettus. It's right in the centre of the city and there are some good cafes and shops around. The hotel is quite clean and the housekeeping staff were prompt and did a neat job. Staff were very helpful with the directions of walking routes. Breakfast was simple and filling (not out of the world but felt right for the price we paid). Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
No major issues really.
The location of the hotel is excellent within a walking distance to the majority of places you need to visit when travelling to Athens. And also the fact that the staff is very polite and helpful.
Breakfast was poor. One more thing is that through booking i reserved a room with a double bed and when we arrived there we were given a room with two single beds. I don't know whose fault is this (either hotel or booking) but since i wasn't notified about the unavailability of the specific room i would expect to get to the room i asked from the beginning. Anyway, the next day we were transfered to a room with a double bed
1- On booking.com they had two different prices: one for the normal room and another one -with very nice pictures- for a room with the city view. We had to pay extra money for the second one and the room had the view of the front building (very ugly) and nothing else. When we asked what they intend 'city view' they told us the normal rooms are facing only a wall and if you pay more you can have this room with the view of another building. The only room with view that they have is for 4 people and much more extra money. Finally we understood that the most of the pictures were from this room. 2- Hair dryer wasnt working (we asked for anoter one; they brought it after 4 times that we asked for it - it was the second day anymore). 3- At the night shift there was a very rude man that he was talking to us as we were criminals. 4- The bathroom was so small, we had to go inside the wash basin in order to go out (also because of the door was opening inside the bathroom). 5- Very poor breakfast.
Location Staff Value for Money
Shower very Small , couldnt fit in it .
Very nice and spacious family-room situated at two floors at the top of the building. Beatiful view of Acropolis. Very well situated w easy walking distance to many attractions. Close to airport bus. Quiet neighborhood.
Welcoming receptionist (at the evening of my arrival day).
Awful breakfast. Worn-out towels, old blankets (of questionable cleaningness).
The hotel was very clean and the room was a good size. The stuff was friendly and the location was excellent.
The breakfast was very simple and there was no variety.
Close to Syntagma Square. Cozy atmosphere.
The hotel manager was very helpful and kind Location is really in a good place - very close the central and also metro line Superior rooms have a nice balcony
Small rooms Weak wi-fi Watch out and get confirmed the bed request - they insist that it can be not avaliable even you choose it
Location is excellent, balcony was spacious and the room was generally clean.
- Had specifically asked for a double bed and was provided two single ones without any specific explanation other than "this is what we have.." - Reception stuff was not as warm as you would expect, not a big concern for me but just pointing out..
Very close to main square of Athens and hop on hop off busses to main tourist sites.
Breakfast is ok, but very basic.
it was verry cold
Unfortunately there was nothing to like about this hotel. It is so decieving.
The rooms are so small that two people together cannot even stand in the room. The pictures on booking.com show that they have a view of the acropolis but it's not correct. The breakfast is bad I mean really bad the cheapest quality cereal they use. The bread is very poor quality and there is nothing else. The mattress will give you a back pain The room has no balcony, we felt so depressed that literally we preponded our trip and came back early because the hotel sucks Honestly you are better of staying at the Athens ledra hotel But please I beg you do not make the mistake of looking at the photographs of this hotel and booking it
Nice and very big room with wonderful views of the acropolis Friendly personnel
Breakfast was a bit disappointing
Location is definitely what makes this hotel worth staying in Helpfull staff Comfortanble room
Amazing location and view of Acropolis (top floor). Excellent breakfast and staff very helpful.
Bathroom a little small and awkward but functional.
Location was perfect, just around the corner from Syntagma square and walking distance to many tourist attractions and metro. This was ideal for us as we had to get a bus from the square to the airport early in the morning. The hotel is on a leafy side street so not noisy despite being in the middle of the city. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable and very clean. The reception and bar areas were very nicely decorated.
We would have liked a longer stay! Unfortunately, we only had one night in Athens on this trip. The hotel was perhaps a little pricey compared to other hotels of a similar standard we have previously visited in Athens.
Good location Good, service minded staff
No shower curtain - shower head faulty Water goes everywhere except where it should
The hotel is in a great location - we walked all over, including Plaka, the Acropolis and more. It was a nice place to say in the middle of a crazy city. Our two nights were more than enough in Athens. Staff were friendly and offered great directions and food recommendations.
As with many European hotels the bed was passable and the pillows mediocre at best.
