Niki Hotel

Wieczorem przypłyneliśmy promem do Pireusu i mogliśmy sobie pozwolić tylko na wieczorny i poranny spacer, przed odlotem do Warszawy.Najważniesza była dla nas świetna lokalizacja Niki Hotel. Podobał nam się wystrój sali na parterze. Intrygujące, bardzo kolorowe obrazy.

Pokoj był skromny i tak mały, że trzeba było uważać, by nie uderzyć głową o powieszony na ścianie telewizor (raz odczułem to boleśnie). Telewizor w naszym pokoju miał bardzo słabą jakość odbioru. Wąż od prysznica był tak poskręcany, że ledwie z niego ciekła ciepła woda. Po odkręceniu węża - leciało lepiej. Winda czteroosobowa - ciasna.

Bathroom was small. If you take shower, floor of the bathroom gets all wet.

I didn't like the fact that the room was too small, without double beds. There was no waste basket except in the toilet and there was no fridge in the room also! The toilet thaw was also small without a curtain.

We stayed at the Niki hotel for one night, specifically so we could take the bus from Syntagma the next morning to the airport. The hotel is well located for this purpose a short (5 min, 3 blocks) walk from the Square. It's also well located for touisting since it's close to the subway and in a very central location. The room was clean and comfortable, although simple. Breakfast was decent.

The staff could have been more friendly. They were very gruff and unhelpful. Niki street is not a major road and is a little run down so the hotel is a block from a major thoroughfare. Not a big deal, but not ideal for single women walking alone late at night, perhaps.

Excellent location. Close to shops, main attractions, restaurants, metro, busses, etc. Also, the hotel has recently been renovated, I found it very tastefully decorated, and comfortable.

It was a good location for shopping at the Plaka and location to the Acropolis, and the museums.

The staff was very rude and cold, like we were doing them a favor staying there. Also, when we checked out they tried to charge me more than what was on our reservation. When I told them it was different he was very rude and made a said where's your paperwork, when I showed him the price, he changed the bill and said "I'm giving you a deal on this" and I said NO your not, I'm paying what was quoted to me. Also, he smoked in the lounge area, even though it was non-smoking. I suppose I would recommend staying there as long as you don't have to deal with the staff very much, because it is a good location for the area.

Pictures on website looks way better than what they are. Rooms are noisy. Too expensive for what you get.

Have fast wi-fi on 1st floor.

No toothbrash, no cup, no water, no refrigerator. Small room. Bad breakfast.

Convenience, helpful reception, nice breakfast room and computer facilities.

Paris, who works the front desk is wonderful. So are the ladies who prepare the breakfast.
