Very close to the see, the staff were excellent, very nice and helpful. Secure parking. Nice view from balcony. Fair prices.
The rooms are very old, or at least I suppose they all are. Not very convinced about the cleaning. Likely we had some towels with us so we didn't need to use the ones from the hotel. It's possible to hear the people from neighbour room. If you are very sensitive to the tidiness of rooms you should look for something different.
It was a great price we just needed to stay near the airport for an early flight the rooms where basic but fine for a quick nights sleep
The disco downstairs was very loud went on all night and made it hard to sleep i would avoid fri and sat nights!!
The outlook in the morning. The staff is kind.
Loud disco-music in the neighbourhood till early morning-hours.
the location, pool and staff are excellent. The rooms are simple and clean and I was pleased with the experience
the parking lot was small but adequate
Cheap. The people are nice, the hotel is clean (although old) and it is a lovely beach for locals.
This hotel came up on a search for hotels close to Athens airport. Do NOT stay here for that reason.
Needed a hotel with pool and parking reasonably near to the airport to relax in for a day before a flight and this fitted the bill. Quite old fashioned decor and furnishings but kept spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The room was adequate - quite roomy and a great sea view, furniture was old but beds comfortable and the fridge worked well! Bathroom could do with updating (particularly shower head) but all worked and was clean. Location of hotel is ideal - an easy walk to the harbour with all the cafes, restaurants etc. Interesting clientelle.
A couple of noisy cafes/bars nearby that were quite loud on a Friday night (and, I expect, on a Saturday) but closed balcony doors and could hardly hear them. Breakfast limited.
Excellent view of the beach from our balcony.
Cheap cost, but you get what you pay for. Nice pool, but not sure if it was properly cleaned with pool chemicals. Had dingy dirt line around perimeter of pool in some areas. Liked location in respect to ocean, town and restaurants.
Room was very small, with very little room to place suitcases. No place to hang any clothing. Bathroom shower with no curtain made for wetness all over the bathroom. Yuk! Rooms need updated. The worst was booking.com advertised this hotel at 13 km away from the airport. It was 1/2 drive from airport which made our taxi bill higher than we wanted and additional time needed to get there.
Loved the 1930's style of the hotel and the large swimming pool. We just overnighted after a long drive. Would have liked to stay for days. Provided an early breakfast for our flight. Great price.
Worried tight shower flooded the floor however was all tiled.
The location and the sights
Everything else. After three days there I could smell the toilet which I think wasn't cleaned at all. The bathroom was also tiny. Wifi didn't work unless you were at the lobby. The menu is composed of three dishes but you cannot choose a different one if you don't like it. The hotel is huge but it hasn't been renovated and it seems like you are back in the 50s.
So different to your modn day hotel! Friendly staff. Felt safe!
kind servixce, free-of-charge parking, sea view
Noise on the street by motorbikes
Nice saltwater swimming pool. Nice view from our balcony
This hotel felt institutional. I thought breakfast was included but it ended up being 5 Euros per person . Their machine wouldn't take any of my credit cards. The air conditioner in the kids room dripped . I think we could have done better for our money . Only wifi in the lobby
The staff were very welcoming and very helpful in planing our trip we had a comfortable night and a nice breakfast .
nothing except the location
The room in one word pigstile No209 toilet running water all night ...broken tiles... no curtains in shower so we was walking in a pool of dirty water... beds very old and uncomfortable...
Magnificent view. Outdoor seawater pool. Careful garden design with many pots of flowering plants. Attitude of staff.
Shower facilities were basic but adequate.
Cheap. Close to airport. Staff friendly.
The hotel has been sometimes very nice but now in pretty bad shape.
Thanks to it close location to Athens Airport this hotel is an ideal starting and ending point for rented car travellers who do not like an idea of going to Athens by car and staying there overnight. The hotel is kept in old fashion style and by no means could not be called luxury, but it is very pleasant at least to me. I stopped here for 5 or 6 times during my round trips to Greece and was always satisfied with this hotel and its staff.
In the map of the hotel it says that is 16.8km from the airport and in the description it is written 25km. It is actually 38km !
Welcoming and friendly attitude of the staff, which redeems flaws like old furniture and sanitary ware. The hotel is clean and beautiful garden, there is parking. Breakfast is traditional, very fresh and tasty.
Decor and furniture 15-20 years ago, poor soundproofing. Internet only in the lobby 1-1.5 Mbit / s.
Close to Rafina Port
location in front of the sea and very near to restaurants.
Old, uncared furniture in the rooms. The windows dind't close well and it was freezing cold at night. The air-conditioning (the only way of heating the room) was a very old model and made a lot of noise. There were no curtains in the shower. The corridors stank of paint; I understand that some maintenance works have to be done, but there are paints that don't smell so much. Anyway, this is not a hotel you can improve by only painting it. Also, the hotel blocked the payment in my credit card in advance and we were not told at all when we paid once there. It's taken them ten days to release the money. You are not informed of this fact when booking the hotel.
