The residence is nice, with many colorful trees, swimming pool (but we are in greece with a beautiful sea!). The staff is helpful. Apartment on the ground floor is big, clean and with good kitchen equipment, and a small table outside but above there was a big tree with thousands of birds in the nights.. No natural light on apartments on ground floor, and there is much humidity. If you go there ask definitely an apartment on the first floor. Before leaving they have charged credit card without asking.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, advised us about attractions and anything we asked. The location is very good, close to the beach, the centre, but at a quiet spot. The atmosphere is tranquil and relaxing.

One for the suggestion box... You need to differentiate between "kiddies" hotels and Adult hotels somehow on your website. This hotel was full of 18yr old loud drunken English fools. The amount of grief they caused is amazing. The staff tried to contain them but when they have over 60% of the rooms it`?s difficult to tell a businessman not to take their money. Times are tough and I understand the dilemna but I would prefer to have known the situation. I would never go back since the walls are paper thin and the owner couldnt do much about the loud mouth Brits.

A really nice hotel and great value for money. The rooms are fairly basic but are clean, spacious and set in amongst lovely flower arrangements. The reception and bar staff are really friendly and always ready to help. There are a few too many 18-30s holidaymakers but they were all well-behaved. If you don't fancy that sort of thing go to the beach just outside the village and eat at restaurants outside the centre.

Our experience at Nissia Kamares was really great. We took a long weekend and flew down to the island of Kos. The best thing about the hotel is the location. It is a 3 minute walk to a beautiful beach, a 2 minute walk to the center of town with tons of shops and bars and there is a tour guide place about 3 minutes (walking) away so that you can book cheap excursions. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was the beds. We stayed in the four bedroom apartment. The beds weren't very comfortable. The sheets were really poor quality. It wasn't a huge issue it just made it hard to sleep when we were a little sun burned.

Stunning value for money. Amazing find, 2 blocks away from the beach ... no bustle or noise. Unique layout, with many nooks and crannies, large balconies, large rooms with kitchenettes. Terrific staff. Great pool and poolside bar. I can't say enough good things - I will go back to Kardamena just to stay here!

The pool and amenities where great and the rooms were really big- bigger than most places we stayed so 3 girls and lots of luggage fitted with no problem. Staff were really helpful, especially Costas and really knowledgable too. There where mosquitos but you get them everywhere in Greece.

To sum up our stay in one word..Perfect! Everyone was so nice and everyone we met spoke English. It is about a five to 10 minute walk to the beach, perfect location! Everyone in the village seemed to know who we were after the first night. Anyone who stays in the town has to go eat at Nemo's and ask for Theo, he will help you out with anything. Also, Kostas at the hotel was so helpful and understanding, we truely appreciated everything he did for us! We will definetly stay there again when we go back!

What can I say that hasn't been said already ? All the good things you read are true ! Don't come here if you're looking for the impersonnal 350 rooms, all inclusive hotel, Nissia is a small family run hotel, a secluded little haven in town, hidden behind a typycal greek mansion façade, far from the hustle and busstle and yet only a mere 5 minute's walk from everything (beach, restaurants, bars, shops, supermarket and busstop to Kos town). The rooms are organized around an inner courtyard full of trees and flowers, they are simple but pretty and have absolutely everything you need (a kitchenette with fridge, cooking ustensils, table and chairs inside as well as outside on a small terrace, bathroom with soap and shampoo dispenser, plenty of cupboards) all kept spotlessly clean everyday. Walk out of the couryard through an archway and you are at the pool which has a good size, plenty of sun loungers, a bar area where you can order drinks and snacks, a pooltable and flatscreen tv. But the best of it all is the manager and the staff, they will go out of their way to tend to all your needs and make you feel welcome. When it's time to go home, you will feel like it's friends you're leaving behind... Thank you Kostas, Natalie and Nefeli for all the good times in your company, in the end, your are the ones who make this place so special !
