In the intimate wood-panelled surroundings of the Explorer's Lounge, you can enjoy the atmosphere of old Athenian clubs, sipping cocktails and tasting snacks. Open daily from 11:00 to 01:30.

The centralized location and also the staff. Could probably use a slight updating in the rooms- nothing major. Perhaps a paint job and cleaning of drapes, new caulking in bathrooms, align closet doors, all minor but would make an improvement |

Excellent location For the first time of all the hotel I have visited they have reserved the full amount with my visa at check-in. full payment was made at check-out but the reserved amount on my visa five days after is blocked (650 Euros!).the hotel staff said it will be unblocked from the bank automatically...!!! Also, the taxi they have called for us to take us to the airport ripped us off. he chared us 38 Euros! i know the syntagma-airport route would not take more than 30-32 Euros max...also the bed was very uncomfortable! |

On this particular visit we stayed just one night in Athens, in transit to our vacation on Paros and Naxos islands, so we did not use any of the hotel facilities except the room. The location is excellent, the staff were very helpful, the room and services were fine. At the rate we got from booking.com it was very good value for money. |

The hotel has a great location, right in the center of the city and near the Acropolis (less than a kilometer or 1 stop with the Metro). The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was quite nice. The bathroom was great which was really important after my stay on a Greek Island. The beds were uncomfortable. |

I was upgraded to an 'Akropolis view' room, which was fantastic. Njv is in the best of locations whether one is visiting Athens or business or for a holiday. It is close to historical sights, shopping areas (Kolonaki, Ermou, etc), the beautiful pictureusque area of Plaka, and not that far away (walking distance) from Acropolis and the new Acropolis Museum. There is a tube station located just two minutes from the hotel, which is very convenient to use to get around Athens (quite possibly changing into the overground train for areas outside central Athens). The hotel staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful. Overall it was a great experience, and I would definitely choose to stay there again. |

Spacious room and bathroom, central location (on the Syntagma Square), close to the main shopping street Ermou, Monastiraki, Thiseio, Kolonaki.Also the metro station on Syntagma Square is very convenient if you want to go to places further away. |
