Slight sewage smell from bathroom drain

Loved the decor, the hospitality, the view of the Acropolis from the roof, the breakfast in the morning and appreciated the security outside the hotel.

The WiFi Password had to be renewed every 12 hours. It would have been nice to have one password for my entire stay, but not that big of a deal.

Great value for the money. Location, price, cleaniness, amenities.

Not as quiet as i 'd like, especially my room in the 7th floor.

Staff was attentive to details, very polite and friendly. Room was clean and newly decorated. The district is very quite, 200 meters to metro, bus stop of double decker for sightseeing is also within 150 meters.

No particular comments. We felt crisis in Greece :(

Staff was pleasant and trying to accommodate us, room had a nice balcony, breakfast was good, very clean.

Small TV, breakfast selection could be more versatile, no mini bar, would have been nice to have one wi-fi code for entire stay and not only for every 12 hours.

Best value for money. Free parking, free and good wifi, free breakfast (for our booking). Great rooftop view and cafe

The only negative I could say was the coffee quality at breakfast! But that is just a tiny detail

Wonderful hotel! It was modern and clean, staff were super friendly and accommodating! Right next to the metro and a few short stops away from all major attractions, a real winner!

Nice breakfast buffet. Small pool on rooftop was really refreshing after a day walking in temperatures of above 30 degrees. Not the best area of Athens, but that did not bother us since the hotel is conveniently located close to the metro station.

Only one device can be use free internet. So if you're a couple with 2 iphones, iPad, and laptop. You have to keep signing each device off to check you emails.

The staff were amazing and extremely helpful in multiple ways. We stayed before and after a sailing trip and they happily stored some extra bags of ours in between. Breakfasts were lovely and the view from the bar - superb!!!!

The rooms are good, clean & comfort. The hotel is beautiful, but the area is bad. I couldn't go out with my wife at night as I am in my honeymoon. The staff was not helpful,specially the reception girl marian was rude & when I decided to leave the hotel coz of the bad area, she tried to cut the whole amount reserved from me till I called booking.com to resolve the problem. thank you booking.com

The staff were amazing always greeting you with a smile and very helpful regarding any information.the hotel is close to the metro station which was very convenient and from there you can go anywhere in Athens including the Airport and sea port.The room was spacious,clean with a view of an abandoned building but the roof (tiny) pool and bar made up for it cuz It looks at the Acropolis and it looked amazing at night.the buffet breakfast was nice to start the day with a nice variety of cold and hot dishes.I would recommend people staying in Athens a few nights to stay there but not more than 3 nights!

The Area is not the best but it can be manageable using a taxi at night.no tea & coffee facilities in the room.and that's about it really

Hotel Novus has many positives ... First of all the hotel staff is very friendly ... everyone from Anna, Katrina, Rami, and the other lady at the reception (dont know her name) and all the other staff including the ones in the hotel restaurant... Nice location ... might be close to Omonoia square .. but nothing to worry about .. at no point did we feel insecure ...the metro station is also about 2 minutes walk ... and easy access to other places ... (syntagma sqaure is about 3 stations away .. abt 7-10 mins from hotel novus) We got a nice room with balcony ..and the balcony was huge .. nice to sit outside and watch the sunset .....Moreover nice view of the Acropolis from the Roof Top ... The pool may be small but good enough. Nice Wifi Connection in the room ...however the connection expires every 12 hours so you have to get a new username and password from the reception .. i did not mind doing that .. Breakfast was also decent enough .. No complains

The rooms might be a little small but thats what you get for the price you pay ... The AirCon did not cool upto my expectation....

Excellent hotel, great staff and facilities, pool and view wonderful. No problem with area, yes a bit run down but so what? Walked through several times with young family and no problems; if you are worried take a cab!

I thought the rooms were very well furnished and the bed was extremely comfortable.

The rooftop pool was shut due to a fire in Athens whilst we were there.

Local area is a bit run down and not great for eating out or nite life.

Wondeful hotel. Located very close to metro to get to city - center, port, and airport! Staff is very friendly, breakfast is delicios and they also have a wonderful bar and pool at the top floor of the hotel. All in all, a lovely hotel, and not too expensive.
