O&B Athens Boutique Hotel  

Great location, great value, very accommodating staff, just a beautiful hotel.

The O&B Athens Boutique Hotel was in an excellent location, as we love to walk it was central to all the tourist sights. The staff were amazing, everyone being extremely friendly and helpful. We have travelled extensively and you could not find any better trained staff as you do at the O&B. The breakfast was delicious with an abundance of choice. the chef was also willing to cook any request you had. The rooms were lovely,bright ,clean and an amazing bathroom...............no clinging shower curtain at the O&B.

Would like to have had a kettle and cups in the room to make a tea/coffee.

O&B is well located for Akropolis and all of the old town of Athens. The hotel, facilities and the room was very nice. The staff made a huge difference and you really felt welcome and taken care of throughout the stay. We recommend this hotel - particularly because of its great staff - to anyone and would definitely use it again next time in Athens.

Neighborhood surroundings less than desirable. Open air bar across street loud at night.

Gastfreundliches Verhalten der ma. Sehr hilfsbereit. Gutes reichhaltiges Frühstück. Geschmackvolle Zimmer mit guter Ausstattung. Kleine griechische Spezialitätenplatte als Begrüßungsservice auf das Zimmer. Rundum eine gute Empfehlung.

Location,value for money,service

Clean, modern room. Great bathroom. Friendly staff. Location : most of the things to do and to see are within walking distance. A number of lively and charming areas (Monostiraki, Psiri, Thissio ...especially in the evening) are within 5 minutes walking distance.

Not a large variety for breakfast. Neighbourhood doesn't look very attractive, but I never felt unsafe.

I liked that it was a modern hotel in an historic part of town. The room was small but very comfortable. The bathroom was great. The staff were delightful.

Hotel con un servicio impecable. Desayuno de excelente calidad, puede parecer que no sea abundate, pero no es así, ya que se puede pedir te cocinen en el instante lo que quieras desayunar (recomendamos las tortillas), buen zumo. Las habitaciones más sencillas son un poco justas. Las TVs son pequeñas (pero nos ha pasado en todos los hoteles de Grecia). Excelente servicio: tuvimos un incidente con unas toallas, que no sólo solucionaron y se disculparon, sinó que además nos compensaron con una cena y cambio de habitación a la suite Acropolis la última noche. Excelente desde los recepcionistas, las camareras del comedor, hasta el director que se disculpó el último día por el incidente y nos ofreció el cambio de habitación.

Por decir algo, la limpieza quizás podría mejorar un poco en las habitaciones: los muebles quizás necesitarían limpiarse un poco mejor, y se deberían eliminar algunas de las toallas más viejas que tienen. La calle donde está y la que lleva al centro, Ermou, son seguras, pero están degradadas y deterioran un poco la imagen del hotel.

hotel staff were very helpful and courteous. The location is good as the hotel is located close to the flea market and Plaka.

our only complaint was that the bed was too hard. However, it should be noted that the hotel offered to move us to a new room. Otherwise, we very much enjoyed our stay.

The staff and accommodations were excellent, ESP for the price. The friendly and outgoing staff became our tour guides for this historic and exciting city. We also loved being able to get out and be among the citizens and see the "real" Athens of today in safety.

The hotel describes its location as in a neighborhood for the working class and at first it seemed a little too gritty for our taste. However, we soon learned from other guests and our own experience that it is very safe and a great experience. Once inside the hotel we were impressed with the serene and upscale friendly environment.
