the hotel is modern and very comfortable. the room was cosy, but a bit noisy, since we got a room with a terrace and street view. great location! if you do not want to stay at the crowded holiday stations. you are in the city just a short drive away from the sights of crete.

Excellent staff, were quite helpful and willing. Buffet breakfast was quite nice, with lots of choice. Room was large, well equipped and an excellent balcony. Right in the center, walking distance to the major square with all the restaurants, bars, and shopping. Parking is not easy to find close to the hotel. Be prepared to either search a long time in a super crowded and busy city full of crazy Greek drivers, or to pay to place the car in a private parking house.

The hotel was easy to find, it was central to the main tourist areas including the Archaeological Museum (still mainly closed but with one small gallery worth visiting). Also close to many bars. Reasonable prices for a short stay. Staff were friendly in the cafe and bar (they chilled a bottle of wine for us 'cos the cooler in our room was u/s). Lovely balcony on first floor looking out over the old well now cafe (dating back to 16'th C.) Bedding was clean. Room and bathroom was tidy. But ... the woman on check out (only one) was intensely rude. She made us wait at least 10 minutes whilst she explained to a couple of tourists how to get to Knossos. All we needed was to hand in our key and check our bill balance. We were thinking of staying extra nights but she was so rude and aggressive we checked out, took our luggage, and used the Internet to book another hotel nearby. For a double / twin room (2 people) we were only given one key which caused an amount of inconvenience. The hotel is not near a bus route or the bus stations) and so with luggage taxis had to be used.

The staff at the hotel not only speak excellent English but are also charming and extremely helpful. The quality of the breakfast items (cheese, cooked meats and yogurt) could be improved. Also, the scrambled eggs were always overcooked and cold.And I won't even mention the juice, as that is always made from powder in Greece, it seems!

Well the room was good , the bed was nice to sleep on. Well there no parking in front or next to the hotel , and the shower was not good. It was very small and the shower door was broken.

The Location is very good, the service was good, the staff members are friendly, the breakfast was okay! The room for singles are not on the front side of the hotel, when I looked through the window I see a wall. The room smelled a bit, maybe it was not used very often.

Situation géographique appréciable pour un séjour sur Héraklion même. Chambre assez petite. Juste ce qu'il faut pour dormir, se changer et se laver. Peu de choix dans le buffet du petit déjeuner.

La ubicación, en el centro de Heraklion, muy bien comunicado por medio de autobuses con el resto de la isla. Demasiado ruido por las noches, llegaban grupos de gente para hacer el check in a las 24:00 con el consiguiente ruido de puertas y voces. El personal del hotel no es muy amable. El desayuno pobre.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, konnten schon morgens einchecken und brauchten unser Gepäck nicht abstellen (bis 14 Uhr). Das Hotel Olympic ist günstig gelegen - im Zentrum der Stadt Heraklion.

La situacion es estupenda cerca del casco antiguo, pero fuera con parada de taxis y de bus enfrente, con lo cual puedes llegar desde el aeropuerto en bus. El baño no esta mal pero tiene bañera y muy alta , me imagino que tendran habitaciones con ducha para personas mayores ?

Confortevole, a 20 metri dall'isola pedonale del centro storico. Raggiungibile dall'aeroporto in pochi minuti. Personale molto disponibile, ci ha offerto assistenza per la prenotazione dell'auto trovando una soluzione davvero efficiente
