Absolutely exquisite. Room was beautifully designed, bed wonderfully comfortable, facilities excellent, a complete pleasure to be in. Breakfast was a rare treat with great food in lovely surroundings. Position of the hotel was perfect. Right in the heart of the old town so a few metres from the harbour, the shops and restaurants but an oasis of peace and comfort as soon as you stepped back inside the hotel. However, the best part of it all was the staff. Very friendly and helpful hardly describes it. They were a real pleasure to be with and, despite the undoubted wonders of Chania, we would find ourselves looking forward to returning to the Fatma.

Marianna and George were extremely friendly and helpful during our three day stay. The family-run hotel is a traditionally restored from scratch old harbour house with modern high tech amenities. Despite the lack of sea view, staying in the hotel is very pleasant. Rooms are nice and traditionally decorated. There is a large terrace for lounging and our room had also a smaller private one. Breakfast was freshly prepared on order and was more than you could eat. The hotel is located in a quiet street in the pedestrian-only old harbour, just one minute walk from the sea front and five from a parking area. We definitely recommend it and will surely go back ourselves.

Lovely rooms, lovely building, beautifully restored. Very friendly, and welcoming staff. Highly recommended.

As soon as you walk through the door the welcome is friendly and it remained so through our Holiday - Nothing is any trouble. Breakfast is superb, with a wide choice to suit everybody's needs, and all served in a very friendly manner. Th cleanliness of the Hotel is second to none and the decor is very beautiful and unique. The refurbishment has been carried out to excellent standard. They recommended restaurants which did not dissapoint and arranged our car hire. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family. Nothing to dislike

The hotel is right in the centre of the old town with excellent restaurants, bars and shops nearby but the room was quiet with no noise at night.Staff were friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was very good. Power shower was excellent.

The bike parked in the dining area spoiled the atmosphere a bit and the stairs to the rooms are dark. Possibly because the hotel was quiet there were few lights on a lot of the time.The rooms with a balcony actually face over the dining area rather than the street and there are no views. We have stayed in Chania before and love the old town but dont think the facilities justified the high room price I am sorry to say. Dont let this put you off staying in Chania as it is excellent with beautful beaches nearby and very friendly people.

Would have been nice to have a swimming pool, but I can understand how that is not possible given the location.

It was such a friendly small hotel and ideally situated.The staff could not have been more helpful.

The fact that I was not able to get a taxi right outside the door and I do have mobility problems....also a lift in the hotel would have been appreciated.

We stayed at Fatma Hotel for 4 nights and it was absolutely wonderfull! The rooms are well decorated, the staff is very friendly and helpfull, the breakfast is amazing with local cretan products and fresh food, the toillete products are from Korres, very nice Greek brand. I loved every single thing and would definetely go back.

Too bad it's not big enough to be able to have a pool, that would have made paradise complete.

We spent in Fatma Boutique Hotel and Chania one wonderful weekend and we will always remember it...we highly recommend this wonderful little tasty design hotel in the heart of old town to everybody...for short trips or longer stays....if u prefer little hotel without swimming pool or huge lounge and space or too many people around... Excellent service, helpfull people, very good position... Big Thanks to Mrs. Marianna, who took care about us during our stay.... We want to come back again!!! Amazing!!!!!

Excellent Hotel with Excellent People at an Excellent Location.

Staff is the most friendly we've ever encoutered in every hotel we've stayed. Mariana helped organising car rental for us, recommending good quality non-touristy restaurants and suggesting the best places of interest. The house keeping lady (forgot to ask her name) also was very happy everyday. She also cooked us nice omelletes in the mornings. So I could have given this hotel a fat 10 solely for these two. We forgot to bring our beach towels so the staff offered us two bath towels without hesitation. It also has free wireless, no need to enter password to access. We stayed there for 7 nights and felt like home. The last night the hotel left us a bottle of vino and a bowl of fruits in our room thanking us for our stay. This will not happen in big franchised hotels. We will certainly be back if we are going to Crete again.

The hotel does not have lift. So be prepared to lift up your suitcases. But the highest floor is on the second floor so it was not too bad for us. The shower room is a tad small which makes closing the door a bit difficult. But on the other hand it is a boutique hotel which already tells you to expect smaller features.

Ein perfekter Start in unsere Flitterwochen. Waren für 3 Nächte im Hotel - wirklich alles perfekt! Die Freundlichkeit der Besitzer zog sich durch den ganzen Aufenthalt. Frühstück lecker, Dachterasse lädt zum gemütlichen Verweilen ein, Lage 1a. Normalerweise gibts keine Superlative - aber hier ist diese angebracht: Perfekter Aufenthalt! Chania ist sowieso eine Reise wert - und am besten hier starten! (Dutzende Restaurants und Bars) Wenn wir nochmals nach Kreta kommen, werden wir hier definitiv nochmal kommen! - Hôtel design et très bien situé - personnel à l'écoute et très aimable et très compétent - petits-déjeuners copieux et succulents - très bons conseils sur les visites et les endroits à voir

- Chambre petite pour le prix - pas assez de rangements - parties communes "enfermées" et chaudes - petit-déjeuner servi à l'intérieur - hôtel au final très sympa et à recommander, mais la note de 9,7 est un grand mystère!!!!!
