everything is awesome
The lokation, the relaxed atmosphere, the nice wiew from the roof terasse.
Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms with good facilities, fantastic views from the room balcony and the roof top terrace.
Location a little out of the way, but walkable to the center and easy access by taxi. Not in the nicest area of Athens, but not really a problem and not unsafe.
Friendly staff, great breakfasts on the roof terrace, good location for the archaeological museum.
It was a bit of a hike (or a short bus journey) from the Plaka area
Costa was still there as the owner. Staff was friendly and spoke English - very well! The place has been renovated so the price was higher - but to be on the terrace at night drinking a cold beer looking at Likavettus and the Acropolis was what I remembered! Books up early so be sure to have an itinerary set up! Loved coming back to the place I stayed while waiting for my apartment to be ready 34 years ago. The city has changed so much - I was at a loss. That's what the Olympics does to a city. So sad to see my favs gone... Santorini is a tourist mecca - so sad to me. But I hear Koh Samui, Thailand has hotels - never going back to a tourist destination again! Need to rethink my second trip around the world!
The rooftop view was great and it was a big plus for us. We brought food up and had a blast. Dimitris met us at the reception desk and was polite and very helpful.
Wi-fi Staff was helpful
Location was awful Room was dirty Unable to sleep due to the people sitting on the stairs, talking loud and drinking There were hairs of the previous guests in the bed, on the towels and actually all around the room. There is no relation with the photo of the room in the web page and the room you sleep in. The staff wants to make it a better stay for you; but in that hotel this is impossible. One should pay a little bit more and pick another hotel. The only fine thing about this hotel is that; it is in the same city with the famous Acropol. The surrounding area is a bir scary in the night time. Seriously not recommended.
The location was very hip. A Bohemian neighbourhood with a good atmosphere. There were lots of restaurants/bars/cafes and the local street art was very impressive. The rooftop terrace was very picturesque, a great place to enjoy a relaxing breakfast and also to chill out with a glass of wine and a book. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Even after we had checked out we were able to come back and use the rooftop terrace. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would recommend Orion to others.
As this is a lively neighbourhood the noise outside did get a bit loud on some nights. However we just closed the window and it was much better.
Excellent location, amazing view, cozy room and really nice and helpful staff!
Great staff, good location for a party:-)
Staff was friendly and very helpful, the view from rooftop was beautiful, restaurants in the neighborhood and affordable price.
Bed was not very comfortable, away from public transport, at the top of a hill and stairs, some problems with wifi in one of the days (was fixed) and a little noisy.
room is comfortable
1- hotel stuff cancelled my reservation without calling or sending an e-mail although ı send them a mail to tell ı m coming. After that they provided us a more expensive room 2- District is not safety and far from metro station
Little balcony off the room was nice and relaxing. The staff was also pretty helpful.
It was a little out of the way so whenever I wore heals for dinner, we needed to take a cab.
Liked everything except the location.
Hotel was located in rundown area of the city miles from the center, where Athen's archaeological ruins are located. Nearby streets filled with graffiti. University students partied into the wee hours every night only feet from the hotel. A nearby park was filled with drunks and drug users.
You get a good quality room for a fair price. The breakfast is on the roof terrace with a beautiful view over Athens. Metro is approx 15 minute walk. People are very friendly and helpful. There is some parking on the street to the hotel.
We had quite some trouble finding the hotel in all the narrow streets. Our first night was very noisy with motor cycles, scooters in front of the hotel. Also loud talking till early in the morning. The 2nd night was however a lot quieter. So maybe we just had bad luck the first night.
Super friendly staff, excellent location, fantastic roof terrace.
Interior a bit dated.
The room was comfortable and clean. Fairly good location.
It was a bit difficult locating someone to open the door early in the morning.
This hotel is well located, 10 minutes walk to the central metro and train stations. Be careful, it's mostly for young people, coz' it's on the top of a steep slope. The staff is really relaxed, cool and friendly. They're here to help you anytime.
The building is resonant, so it makes a lot of noise when a group of friends comes back from bars at night...
Nicest staff, other guests were great, breakfast was light but the view can not be beat. Amazing location and roof view
Shower mount wouldn't tilt
(Stayed in both single and double room, no breakfast). A laidback, good quality and friendly option in Athens. Found the location very nice, quiet, still close to the lively and entertaining Exarchia area. Also just a few steps from Strefi hill, a quiet spot with magnificent panoramic view over Athens. The view from the hotel is also very nice. Comfortable and refurbished rooms, friendly and service-minded staff, laundry service provided. Good value for money.
The wifi has some login issues - I recommend asking for instructions on arrival - but it worked.
The hotel is located very centrally and it is within walking distance to a number of landmarks. The terrace is absolutely fantastic and has got a great view of Athens. The staff is very friendly, kind and helpful. If you want a pocket friendly hotel with a lot to offer, then this hotel is for you.
The internet was a bit slow for Skype talks but fine for everything else.
The hotel was quiet which was what we were looking for! Extras inside were very good and it should be rated 3 stars instead of currently 1. Also staff is very friendly and helpful :) And the terrace view is beautiful as well.
Internet was rather slow.
