Very beautiful hotel with nice rooms Very friendly staff
The location was excellent (so close to the harbor) and the room we were given was fantastic. Elsa could not have been more helpful giving us lots of local information. Breakfast but mostly the breakfast cake will be hard to beat!
We liked about everything. Elsa's committed and cheerful service, delicious breakfast, peace and quiet, wonderful high-ceilinged room with entresol for our grown-up child. Fine beds, tasteful furnishings and location.
The occasional mosquito and the sometimes sketchy WiFi, but that's more Hydra than specific for the Orloff.
Lovely place with lovely people; great breakfast and quiet nights
Always spotless and a terrific breakfast. The hotel is nicely situated away from the busy harbour side but not too far so it does not mean a slog up the hill to get to. I was ill during my stay and the staff and owner could not have been more helpful and kind.
Our room was in the oldest part of the house and partially below street level so not direct sunlight into the room. An upper floor room would have been nicer. However, the room itself was very nice
The building and furnishing, the garden, the patio outside our room, the staff and the breakfast.
Couldn't stay for longer
Elsa and the owners are wonderful hosts. The hotel is perfectly blending with the beauty of Hydra and especially the cakes at breakfast were a delight.
Extremely poor wifi connection and breakfast was fair and no other kitchen options after I.e. Y can't have any meal or snack afterwards
Confortable beds , extremely hospitable hosts and a great location ,breakfast was tasty and home made .
Incredible and magical place on a magical island.
Pillows too thin
A very nice place to stay, in a beautiful historical building with warm hosts. Highly recommended for visitors that want to experience a high quality stay in a Greek island of close proximity to Athens.
Wonderful accommodations, and excellent breakfast. Orloff was the best hotel, more like a larger Pension, of our 2 week family trip to Italy and Greece. It has a great deal of charm, and a wonderful staff, including Petros, the owner. Hydra is a beautiful island, very welcoming to tourists.
An utterly charming hotel
We were very impressed with the standard of comfort and service provided to us. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and location was quiet yet central.
We have no negative concerns
Good location, interesting building. The highlight was elsa who was charming and so keen to ensure we had a good time
The Orloff experience was incredible. The service was brilliant : Thanks Elsa and Marie! The breakfast was delicious and filling! Carrot cake and cheese pie. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Quiet. Great for resting and relaxing. Great for switching off and taking a break from the chaos of life.
This is a place like no other, intimate and luxury, cozy and historic, you can feel very private and socializing when you feel like. More than anything else I love the garden secluded by high walls.
That I had to leave not knowing when I will come back.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. They always had time to greet you and ask how your day was and nothing was too much trouble for them The breakfast, although simple, was really tasty and the home made cakes by Eva delicious.
The hotel's setting is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Breakfasts are delicious and with many choices. Staff is friendly and innkeeper is knowledgeable and very warm and welcoming.
