I was heading from Meteora to Delphi via Athens. The hotel was easily close to the train station and metro. Hotel was very basic, but clean and comfortable. Wifi worked well in my room. Breakfast was great.
Small elevators fitting only 2 to 3 people with luggage.
The location of the hotel is very near to the metro station .
Wifi is poor no coffee maker In the rooms or cattle .
We have stayed here before- great location super friendly staff and a VERY clean hotel. WE would recommend the oscar to any of our friends. Good breakfast with very helpful staff serving you in a clean bright atmosphere.
Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Secure onsite parking garage. Subway station less than a block away. Grocery store across the street. Breakfast had a nice variety of choices.
Walls were paper thin and you could hear every noise your neighbor made. Street outside the hotel very noisy but not unbearable. Beds super hard and facility could use a makeover. Smoke smell was over whelming. It would have been nice to have a nonsmoking level. Area looked like a seedy area but we were never bothered by anyone or felt unsafe.
This is a great hotel with perfect service and location. They somehow manage to offer high quality with low price.
I liked it was close to the station (larissa station) as i had to catch a train early in the morning...
Breakfast food was okay, but the orange juice and coffee were a bit cheap I thought (was literally orange squash and instant coffee)
It was close to the train station and a grocery store was across the street.
The bed was very hard. Sewer smell was bad at times but I think this may be normal in Athens.
The stuff was very polite, the service was exellent. I also liked the breakfest very much. But the most the location - Larissa railway and metro stations are in 1 minute walk.
Poorest wifi I ever met in hotels, weird elevators. A little bit noisy street in front of hotel.
1.just across metro station, train station, taxi 2.very vivid area because of the main train station of stathmos larisis and the metro 3.clean large room 4.super market just opposite the hotel 5.good value quality-price 6.old building but you can tell that only by some details 7.very close to city center(4-6 min by metro)
1.old tv device with signal problems 2.i have been told that the area may not be very safe for solo women travellers late at night(i had no problem) 3.hotel serves school students and groups, so a little bit of noise for some hours can annoy some people(not me though, just to inform you)
helpful and friendly staff
Very friendly staff
noisy neighbors at night, slamming doors and shouting
Very good location for exploring the city next to Larissa metro station. Carefour supermarket right across the riad.Nice breakfast. Good clean room. perfect got l to stay for a couple of nights.
There is basically no noise insulation, so you can hear all the doors slamming and people talking in next rooms. We have had sleepless night due to some drunken girls talking loudly and laughing next door in room 314 without any respect to others. Toilet flashing system is horrible, very noisy.
- Only 50 m away from Metro Station. - Good breakfast. - Friendly staff. - Pool on Roof.
- We had a room to noisy main street. - Thin walls to next room.
The bar with swimming pool viewing the great Parthnon
Breakfast is fantastic! you can enjoy the really Greek yogurt. Location is excelente once you are 50m from the metro station only 5 min from the center.
wi-fi could be better.
Super close to the train station! That made it super easy to get around athens.
No ac in the room and the fans were not working in the room there was also a smokey smell in there as well. And we said non smoking but we were only in the room for sleeping so not a major problem we slept on top of the covers. Room was also outdated.
I liked the cleanliness, breakfast is good, starts early enough if you have early appointments, the stuff is OK. If you come buy car, there is a parking place in a back ally garage with a pretty fair charge. The roof terrace is marvelous. There's a metro station in front of the hotel, and you can even walk if you're up to it. Convenient for a short stay - very good value for money.
The traffic in the street in front of the hotel can be pretty noisy at night, so you can't open the window. Even if it is closed you can hear some of the noise. The area is not the best.
Near to Metro and Carefour.
Very small rooms and double beds. The doors do not close properly, noise from the street and neighbors. Poor food quality, service disaster. The waiters do not know what it means to be discreet.
Great location if u intend travelling to meteora as we did as railway is 3min walk from hotel and train goes direct to Kalabaka.Metro is 50 metres away which makes central athens easily accessible just a few stations away.
Bit of variation in standard of rooms but ok for overnight or short stay
We only spent the overnight to catch the early train to Kalambaka next morning, the location just next to Larissa station, perfect! The quality & variety of breakfast need to be improved!!! The washroom was in good condition!
Staff was kind and helpful , price is good , location is not the best but its right next to a metro exit and opposite a big supermarket , which makes it easier to get groceries
Second time around , this hotel lost a bit of its charm for me . The matress and pillow could have been a bit more comfortable . The breakfast is ok but that omeleta is really something to avoid
Good location, less than 100m from metro station. There's a carrefour just in front of the hotel. clean. a nice bar and pool on the top floor where you could have a view of the acropolis. reasonable price.
Great location for sightseeing and restaurants of the acropolis, being only a quick metro ride away, but far enough away from any noise
The hotel has 2 buildings and the Wifi only works in the main one
Friendly and polite staff Clean rooms Adequate breakfast Good location
The 3rd floor in which i was staying was full of a foreign student group and they were making extreme noise: hitting the doors, singing in the hallway and partying untill 3:00 - 4:00 am. No warning was made to them by the staff and administration of the hotel.
