Ostria  

Ostria is the cleanest hotel we've ever been to.The personnel paid attention to every detail in order to please us.The owners were very friendly and always eager to give information about the seasides.Their suggestions were SUPERB!!!Ostria's large garden with pool really relaxed us.Also,the breakfast was a pleasant surprise-rich and delicious!!!This place is suitable for everyone, especially for families and young couples. I'll never forget the friendliness of the family and I am definitely staying in Ostria next summer!

Everything was excellent!!

Stuff was very polite, friendly and helpful. Location was excellent, with bus stop right outside the hotel. Agia Paraskevi is in the middle of the Koukounaries-Skiathos town route, which makes moving around very easy. Room was simple but beautifully decorated, very clean and neat. Rich breakfast (especially for a ** hotel!). We stayed at Ostria for a week and all I can say is that we are going to miss it! When we visit Skiathos again in some years, we are definitely staying there!!! Won't even bother to research for other hotels! Highly recommended! Sophia and Demetris, thank you very much for your hospitality! :)

Ostria is a familyowned nice place. The owners and the people working there is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located 150 meters from the beach and 100 meters away from the main road from Skiathos town to Kokonaries beach. There is no noice from the road. There is a small and nice pool area.The rooms and outside areas are very well cleaned. We will give Ostria our best recomondations.

very good hotel, with nice and clean rooms, very friendly personnel. The location is 2-3 minutes walk to one of the biggest beaches in Skiathos. It has a huge parking place, a nice pool and bar. I totally recommand this hotel.

The internet connectivity can be improved. I could connect and use the internet for free, but only from the balcony and not from the room. Seems that the wireless router wasn't "strong" enough.

Very nice and clean place with very nice and helpful people. I will recomend this place for my friends.

More than decent for a two star hotel. Good location, across the street from the beach and not far from the center of Skiathos (5-6 km). Bus station right in front and pretty easy access by car (bike, atv) to all the best beaches (10-15 minutes). Friendly and helpful staff. Parking. Good little pool. Great large garden (especially for families with kids). Across the street there is a restaurant serving very good food: Kochyli restaurant. Skiathos is a pretty and welcoming island, excellent for a little holiday. It's even better if you manage to split... a few days here and a few more days in the nearby Pelion peninsula. You will definitely enjoy both.

Breakfast could easily be of better quality.

The friendliness of Sophia and her family and all the staff, nothing was too much trouble.The rooms were immaculate bedding and towels changed regularly and smelt lovely and fresh, the girls worked so hard and always with a smile.The Ostria is set in beautiful grounds with orchards and flowers and grass areas, and only 2-3min walk to the beach. This was a very relaxing holiday we went with friends and we can honestly say this was one of the best places we have stayed at and cannot praise them all enough, we will go back.( To Sophia hope your sister and her baby are doing well ) and to Dimitri a big thank you ( catastrof !!!!!!!!) with many thanks Dave & Jeanette Geoff & Jill from Liverpool

The fact we had to leave

We have been coming to Greece for 16 years and choosing Ostria for our staying in Skiathos was one of the best decisions. Rooms are bright, airy and extremely clean. The garden is a wonderful place for kids to play and adults to relax, with perfectly kept grass, flowers and palm- trees while the pool is exceptionally integrated. The hotel is located near one of the best beaches on the island (fine sand, crystal water, no waves) also close to some good restaurants/tavernas. The family running this hotel did everything to make sure we feel like home from the very first minute till the last, and we couldn’t thank enough for that to Sophia, Mikey and Takis at the bar. They all helped us with everything we asked for, and returning to this place would be a must. Actually, we met people who booked in advance for the next year. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in a wonderful location, with lovely people and a lot of the well-known Greek charm...

The hotel itself is spotlessly clean with a lush garden, nice pool and bar/breakfast area. Our room was very nicely decorated, and had character without being luxurious. The hotel is family owned, and that showed in the service we were given. They will do everything to make you feel at home. With only about 20 rooms it makes for a more personal experience than staying in a large hotel. There was no noise at night as the hotel is nicely tucked away from the main road. We had absolutely nothing to complain about, and yes, we would go back to this hotel. We found the location to be the best on the island. The beaches on the western half of Skiathos is better than the ones closer to Skiathos Town, and there are less people. Still you have everything you need close nearby. Two great restaurants lie just down the Road (Mesostrato and Korali), and there are two "supermarkets" too. We rented a car and explored the beaches of the western and northern half of the island. With 60 beaches to choose from we could find our own private beach on some days. . All in all, we had a perfect stay at Ostria, and we really recommend this hotel. For the money we paid it was excellent.

These beautiful apartments are in a superb location, just a few minutes walk from the beach (Aghia Paraskevi) with several tavernas in the immediate area. The accommodation is clean, bright and airy with good sized balconies or terraces; beds are very comfortable and rooms have air conditioning. Breakfast is served in the bar area, lookking out on the fabulous pool and lovely gardens with fruit from Ostria's own trees sometimes on offer at breakfast - you don't get fresher than that! The family (Makis, Maria, Anna & George and Sophia) and their staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. A warm welcome greets you at Ostria and lasts for the duration of your holiday.

Sehr familiäre kleine Appartmentanlage. Die Zimmer sowie der gesamte Außenbereich sind sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet und gepflegt. Auf Sauberkeit wird großen Wert gelegt, Zimmer werden jeden Tag geputzt, mehrmals wöchentlich frische Handtücher. Es sind alle - Besitzer und Angestellte - sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und man fühlt sich gleich wie zu Hause. Wir wurden bei der Heimreise sogar persönlich vom Besitzer zum Flughafen gebracht.. Zum wunderschönen Sandstrand braucht man nur die Hauptstraße und ein kleine Wiese überqueren, Gehzeit max. 3-5 min. Das Wasser ist sehr sauber, es stehen Liegen und Sonnenschirm gg. eine Gebühr von EUR 8,-/Tag (inkl. 2 Getränke) zur Verfügung (2Liegen,1Schirm). In unmittelbare Nähe zur Anlage befinden sich Supermarkt und ein paar Restaurants und die Bushaltestelle. Mit dem Bus erreicht man die Stadt Skiathos in ca. 10-15 min, er fährt ca. alle 15-20 min... . War ein wunderschöner Urlaub!

Όλα ήταν πολύ καλά και ήταν ακριβώς όπως το περιέγραφε το booking μπράβο σας. πολύ φιλικό και οικογενειακό περιβάλλον ,καθαρό δωμάτιο μια πολύ προσεγμένη οικογενειακή επιχείρηση .Μας άρεσε πολύ η τοποθεσία με πολύ πράσινο και ησυχία . το δωμάτιο είχε ΄τι χρειάζεται μια οικογένεια από εξοπλισμό.

Δεν βρήκαμε κανένα αρνητικό όλα υπέροχα

Nous avons été très bien accueillis à l'hôtel Ostria. Le personnel y est très sympathique. Nous avions une chambre de 4 bien spacieuses et très propre. L'hôtel dispose d'un magnifique jardin et d'une piscine et est très proche de la mer (il y a juste une route à traverser pour accéder à une très belle plage de sable). Bons petits-déjeuners. L'hôtel est situé près d'un arrêt de bus ce qui permet de rejoindre très facilement les autres plages de l'île ainsi que la ville de Skiathos. Nous n'avions pas de voiture; c'était donc très pratique.

Ci siamo trovati molto bene all'Hotel Ostria, si trova a due passi da una spiaggia molto bella e poco affollata, le stanze sono molto pulite, la nostra era spaziosa e con un bel balcone, il personale gentilissimo, c'è inoltre un bel giardino dove ci si può rilassare e far giocare i bambini, intorno all'albergo ci sono tanti ristorantini e due supermercati dove si trova più o meno di tutto.

Buitengewoon vriendelijk onthaal. Kamers prima in orde en absoluut schoon. Geen overdreven luxe maar een overweldigend: welkom op Skiatos. In de onmiddellijke omgeving een paar uitstekende taverna's, strand op loopafstand. En met een auto zijn alle baaien en baaitjes binnen handbereik .

This is a beautiful hotel. The staff cannot do enough to help. The place is absolutely spotless. It is also well located for the beach, restaurants and the bus stop.

Very nice hotel close to the wonderful beaches, about 6 kilometres away from Skiathos town. Many nice restaurants and tavernas nearby. The hotel was situated in a peaceful surroundings. Surrounded by lush gardens (well taken care of) with palm and fruit trees. The hotel is family-owned and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean, nicely decorated and airy. The kitchenette was well-equipped. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Wifi was slow and during our stay it worked only within the breakfast/ reception area. Our room was situated at the far end of the hotel building and there was no transmission there. They tried to solve the problem though. Breakfast was a bit repetitive and it would have been nice to have some vegetables (e.g.tomatoes, cucumber) and more fruits at the breakfast buffee.

το α και το ω σε ένα ξενοδοχείο είναι η καθαριότητα, το προσωπικό, η τοποθεσία, οι υπηρεσίες που σου προσφέρει αλλά και η τιμή... Η Όστρια τα διαθέτει όλα σε άριστο επίπεδο χωρίς υπερβολή. Εμείς περάσαμε θαυμάσια και γιαυτό θέλαμε να το μοιραστούμε μαζί σας!!! Ένα μεγάλο ΜΠΡΑΒΟ σε όλα τα επίπεδα!!! Θα σας επισκεφτούμε ΣΙΓΟΥΡΑ ξανά!!!

A very friendly and accommodating family who run the Ostria - nothing was too much trouble for them. A very relaxing holiday situated off the main road but in easy access to the beach and tavernas.
