Score from 1398 reviews Very good
the beach the food the room
the water in the pool was very cold
1min walk to the sea; 1min walk to tram station to get to center of Athens
Noise level - thin walls
It has a warmth and hospitality of a five star hotel...The buffets were excellent, the room service outstanding and the staff and front reception showed always a pleasant , professional, and warm presentation...Thank you for everything and especially for your outstanding staff...Theodore, Cristos ,,,and several more....Christina, and Panos Thank you
The big, big problem in the hotel is the television and ease of using any cable channel without having to constantly call the front desk to have someone change the channel to get for instance nova or other cable networks...Needs to be completely upgraded...I dont know whether or not I would use this hotel again because of this obvious situation..those who come to the hotel alone ..sometimes like lots of tv or cable..but this area really needs to be considered.or redesigned...STATE OF THE ART IS WHAT IS NEEDED,,because everything else was except this...thank you
THE BEHAVIOUR OF THE BREAKFAST STAFF
Easy access to tram into Athens and just 2 minutes to Glyfada Nice Balcony Good Breakfast
The room was really comfortable, the balcony was great when it was sunny and there was a lot of choice for breakfast which was included in the deal that I had. There was a small beach a very short walk away and though it wasn't picturesque the water was clean. Tram stop less than 5 mins walk away.
It was quite far from the shops/restaurants of Glyfada so you would need to get the tram or a bus to those places. Also the indoor pool was at the back of the restaurant with no changing facilities.
Lovely pool area
Area has obviously suffered outside from the recession, beach dirty and some graffiti but we felt safe and the hotel was really nice
Good hotel, close to Athens. Our room was rather small but had a balcony with see view. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.
Need to be updated.
Very Noisy hotel....the hotel is not very soundproofed
Hello, for us the hotel was ok, the beach was either to reach, people were friendly - Greek atmosphere. Location good, one had to move by tram.
No restaurants around
Relaxed atmosphere , great staff, Close to Athens and airport via good transport links. Food and drinks great value for money.
Bedrooms could be updated, some noise from busy road out front of hotel.
Very clean, nice staff
No shower in t he swimming pool
View, transportation in near by, breakfast was good, I'll come again
Breakfast needs more beef or turkey in staid of bacon even stuffed in omelet eggs
The main lobby is awesome. The pool..the dining area..the bar...and the beach is great. Very good hotel. Would stay here again on my next trip to Athens.
The noise of the traffic outside. If one day they replace the windows and have better insulation then it would be perfect.
Price, wifi, good breakfast.
Non smoking room turned out to be a smoking room.
The evening buffet was good value and plentiful. Staff were extremely helpful. Room was very clean. The beach was nearby.
Lots of student groups staying and one nearby room noisy until the early hours of the morning. With hindsight I should have called reception to alert school staff. The hotel is functional and serves its purpose as a stopover, no atmosphere.
The hotel is located next to the nice beach, about half an hour by tram from the city centre. Very nice breakfast. Really friendly and efficient staff.
The rooms are very noisy from the tram and high way proximity, even late hours at night. Balcony has a nice view but completely not enjoyable by that noise. In the rooms there is only one plug to use.
The pool area is great, breakfast was also good.
Rooms are tiny. Our room had a view of the tramlines and a disused car park. Although it is next to the beach there is an enormous busy road on the other side. I wished we had stayed in the centre of Athens as the beach here isn't great.
nice view nice location very convenient to reach by the tram from the center of Athens stop next to the hotel also direct bus X96 from the airport nice swimmingpool romm comfortable breakfast good
the hotel is far from the center of glyfadda where all restaurants shops are situated but we can reach by tram or walk 30 minutes
Location, staff, access to public transport, access to the beach
Breakfast quality and type of food uncomfortable bathroom/shower A/C only working when you are inside the room
The family room we had at the back of the hotel was nice and quiet and pleasant looking towards the sea. The breakfast was nice with a good choice of things to choose from. Very helpful and nice staff. The rooms were cleaned very well, the maids really did put a lot into making the rooms nice each day. The hotel is near the x96 bus stop for easy access to the airport. The tram system near the hotel is a life saver and makes exploring Athens or accessing Glyfada very easy (however the station ticket machines did not work near the hotel so it is best to bulk buy tickets at the kiosks in Glyfada).
On our first night we were at the front of the building in an apartment and the noise from the busy road (which connects Athens to the airport and the coastal resorts) was 24 hours a day very loud noise. We sat on our balcony and could not hear each other speaking. The pool was cramped and wasn't very clean (hair/tissue at the bottom). There is nowhere to go out to eat in the evening. Glyfada is a 45 minute walk or there is a tram. There is a very expensive fish restaurant about 15 minutes walk away from the hotel on the seafront but it was too expensive. There used to be two other restaurants not far from the hotel but they are now closed. So, if you want to go out and see busy nightlife and a choice of restaurants on your doorstep it isn't near the hotel. The sea nearby is not brilliant for swimming/sunbathing.
Hotel with good amenities Situated close to the beach and to the tram Staff friendly and available
One side of the hotel looks out onto a very very busy and noisy road. Another side looks out onto a site with a derelict building. Not pretty. There is nothing to do outside of the hotel apart from one expensive bar-restaurant. Glyfada proper is 4 or 5 tram stations away. The ticket machines on the tram platforms don't work meaning you have to travel illegally or walk. The hotel's air conditioning is very ineffective and noisy making sleep very difficult. Area around the swimming pool very small with little seating.
Cleanliness, staff very helpful and kind. overall excellent, and I would go again
no feta cheese in menu, beach did not have a good sand
