Paleos Hotel Apartments  

Friedly and warm.

Staff were brilliant and location to the airport with bus stop directly outside once staff were aware my partner had numerous mossi bites the owners son gave us electronic deterrent system to plug in room -many of the people have been coming back for years which is always a good sign

You have to pay extra for air con should be included in price as there is no way you can do with out this

Our apt was one of the few aps that were located in the building above the bar and it was quiet during the night since there was no direct view on the busy main road near which the main building is located. The biggest and most comfortable and quiet apartment is Nr. 11 with a huge terrass (but without tv) and a rather acceptable view (please note that we were only with two persons and we needed separate sleeping areas so that this apt was big enough for both of us; however, the owner told us that this apt nr 11 is normally designed for 5 adults and it seems to us to be a rather hard case to accomodate all of them since the two extra beds in the living/kitchen area already take all the space away so that we cannot imagine where the fifth bed could be installed). There is no real see view from any of the apts. If you are lucky, you will have the wifi-connection in the apt itself which is very useful and we were lucky. The location is very acceptable if you rent a car which we did, since Paleos is located a little bit outside the noisy areas but you can reach the touristic areas easily by car (Ialyssos (2min), Ixia (5min), Rhodos Town (15min) and even Faliraki (15min)). The Hotel has a free parking. The beach is not far away, but that beach is rather ugly and one would be willing to go a bit further to search for something better (we were always traveling by car and tried a new beach every day since there are plenty of beautiful beaches, especially on the East Coast (Mediterranean side), so that it was not a problem for us). There is a swimming pool which is used and liked by many of the guests (esp. Those with children).

The cleaning was rather basic. Most of the apts in the main building have a view on the main road (for people who sleep in another "room"= kitchen/living area). The kitchen "equipment" was very basic (one would expect some more cooking pots; a toaster and a microwave could be helpful). There is an extra charge for the airconditioning (approx. 40€/Week). It is rather noisy in the morning when there is cleaning stuff running everyway and small children shouting around in the swimming pool area (especially when you have been enjoying the beauties of the night life in the Old Town and hope to sleep at least until 10 am).

The family that runs the hotel are very friendly and accommodating. The price is excellent for what you get.

It is not toddler friendly at all. Marble steps on the one balcony leading to the pool. Playground in front is next to the highway with no fence.

I loved everything about Palleos. The family and all the staff are so friendly, kind and hospitable. The apartment was lovely, spacious and immaculately clean (air con much appreciated), the pool and pool area was so lovely I really did relax and felt totally chilled out which is amazing because I had urgent work to do whilst I was there. Thanks to John for his help with laptops/printer etc. He is a star. No need to cook. Food is great and reasonably priced and the lively village with lots of choice is a 10 min walk away. Rhodes town is just a short (convenient and cheap) bus ride away for shopping, beautiful Old Town, boat trips and great clubs. Loved it and will definately be back. Thank you.

Rummet var väldigt trevligt, rent och fräscht. Solstolar vid poolen som räckte till alla som ville ha. Personalen var glad och trevlig, bra service på alla sätt. God mat i restaurangen.

Lite för lite köksutrustning, saknade verkligen en vass kniv, fanns bara vanliga bestick och en stekspade.

De sfeer is heel gemoedelijk, gerund door een familie, die er echt zijn om het de gasten naar de zin te maken.

Cet hôtel est vraiment très sympa avec sa belle piscine et l'accueil chaleureux de toute la famille qui le gère. La piscine avec les transats est très appréciable et relativement à l'abri du vent. Les chambres-studios sont tout à fait bien et propres. Les gens y sont particulièrement gentils et se mettent en 4 pour faciliter le séjour. Le restaurant est très bon et les prix abordables. La proximité de l'aéroport et de la ville de Rhodes sont aussi très appréciables. Dommage que les alentours (plage et ville) ne soient pas très beaux, mais une fois dans l'hôtel, on s'y sent bien ! Merci !

Rejäl storlek på lägenheten. Gott om sängkläder, extra filtar behövdes under vår vistelse i april. Poolområdet var fint. Hotellet serverar enkel mat och dryck. Det finns möjlighet att köpa frukost. Små balkonger till alla lägenheter. Busshållplats precis utanför hotellet. Enkelt och snabbt att åka både till flygplatsen och staden. Personalen alltid tillgänglig och hjälpsam. De pratar bra engelska. Wifi fungerar bäst vid poolområdet.

Hotellet är bra. Men det fanns inte mycket i köket. En vattenkokare, lite porslin, få bestick, brödkniv, korkskruv, några kastruller och ett skärbräda. Det var allt. Wifi skulle finnas på hela hotellet, men det fungerade inte så bra i alla rum. Hotellet ligger ett bra stycke från stranden och centrum. I april gör det inget, men när det är riktigt varmt kan det säkert vara jobbigt att promenera så pass långt.

Rent och snyggt. Hög standard på rummen. Fin pool bra solmöjligheter.
