A short walk from the Acropolis, 5-star Royal Olympic Hotel is centrally located by the Temple of Olympion Zeus. The luxurious rooms overlook Zeus’s Temple, or the swimming pool garden.
Score from 2122 reviews Very good
In the southern coast of Athens, just 325 ft from Glyfada’s sandy beach, and a short walk from the tram station, the Hotel London has air-conditioned rooms with private balconies and free Wi-Fi...
Score from 673 reviews Good
Phidias Piraeus Hotel is a newly renovated hotel in the center of Piraeus, next to the port. Guests can use free shuttle service, and the refurbished rooms have free Wi-Fi.
Score from 1311 reviews Wonderful
Located a quarter mile from the shopping center of Glyfada, the Sea View Hotel has comfortable rooms with balconies. It has an outdoor swimming pool with a terrace.
Score from 395 reviews Good
Loved the location, 2 minute walk to Glyfada square where you can eat at tavernas and have a nice breakfast at some of their cafes
The wifi was quite poor in quality and the outside of the hotel was going through refurbishment so it was 100% clean but it didn't bother me.
Everything was fine except one thing (see disadvantages).
We got cold at night. The room stayed cold even, when I turned the climatic system to "on" position. As we arrived late at night, I could not manage this problem with a stuff. I was tired after a long flight.
Its a great place to stay. Staff were always helpful. It was winter time so very cheap. A nice area. lots of restaurants and cafes close by. Public transport was close by. My room was very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay. In summer time this place would be better still.
slightly slow internet but this didn't really bother me.
Low price , central spot, friendly staff
Toilet basket wasn't empty at my arrival , no hot water to take a shower ,towels maybe unwashed for 20 days , the coffee machine was used without cleaning it and with previous guest water in.. 4 star hmm why not 5 or more :)
Good location close to the seaside and to Glyfada's centre. Good price value for 49€/night.
Far from 4* hotel, but an acceptable 3*. Room is clean, but nothing special. Sound isolation is not perfect, the noise of the traffic at the main road could be heard in the room. WiFi is less than poor.
Its clean and good for the price. Nice short stay would be fine.
Its quite noisy because the hotel is a hotel school as well. A lot of students roaming the hotel..Theres not much sea view outside
Helpful and cheery staff on reception. Small problem with the sink in oir room sorted out quickly. We had a re-furbished room on the ground floor, friends on other floors had no complaints about the older rooms. Couldn't hear the traffic at all so no idea why previous reviews mention it. Bar was decent as was breakfast. Not too far to walk into town where the bars & restaurants are. Very good price. Would recommend.
Excellent value for money. Comfortable and clean. Close to the beach.
Close to a busy road.
Hotel's location is excellent, in a green environment close to the sea and the wonderfull Glyfada beaches. 200 m from the main shopping square of Glyfada. Room was very good.
Wi Fi was free but signal strength was weak especially in the rooms. Good for emails but not for FaceTime and Skype. Some face lift mainly painting needed externally.
Breakfast , swimingpool , wifi
Building old need to renewal and improved for while
I liked that the location was near glyfada shopping streets.
We asked for non-smoker room and we were given a smoker room. I wasn't impressed with the front desk employees. The room was not clean and the bathroom was filthy. In the morning we were awoken to loud noises coming from outside our room and it was the hotel employees room across from us. They were very inconsiderate about hotel guests sleeping. Going to avoid this place the next time I'm in athens.
Location Staff were friendly Breakfast was good
wifi stronger in common areas
Friendly staff. Size of the room was quite big, although the room itself was a bit outdated.
Location: near Glifada Square, the beach and Tram to Athens Clean, modern room recently renovated Front desk and room (cleaning) service Nice bar
Would have preferred a higher floor
Very professional, Great team, perfect :)
Friendly nobody said no I can't do it. Just ask and it will be done. Reception staff are very helpfull And have lots of suggestions about how to get to places and best eating places beaches etc. Close to tram into Athens and Pireaus port. X96 bus to airport is just outside Don't forget to visit the turtle hospital 5 min away
Main road to Athens is noisy if you sleep with windows open.
Amazing team most especially someone I do not remember his name working the morning shift at reception always kind and ask how I was doing, kind, patient, with a smile always on his face, always offer help, clean hotel, clean rooms, is located by the sea, clean air, I would definitely recommend and come back to this hotel specifically because of the courteous staff, I wanted to say thank you very much for hosting an amazing
Directly on the X96 bus route from the airport with bus stop at the door. Glyfada has good shops and restaurant choices for a quick stopover that doesn't allow enough time to savour the joys of downtown Athens.
The room was a little tired and not as spotless as you'd expect for a hotel that has close ties with a Swiss catering college. The cotton blanket certainly needed a wash.
Very cheap and outdated interior. It seems like they didn't renovate it seriously for ages. We can't help us to stay at another place. Even though we wasn't refunded. Poor. Choose it only if you want to be as much as close to a shopping area and do not care about how fashionable your room is.
Friendly helpful staff, convenient location, lovely pool/bar area, would definitely stay again.
nice big comfortable rooms very reach breakfast lovely staff, very helpful possible to keep baggage after checkout time nice clean swimming pool three minutes walk to tram station and public beach, close to Glyfada center possible access to organized beaches
hotel pool bar prices are too high would be recommended to write the exact tram station on the booking page (it is one after Glyfada beach and one before Glyfada center - a bit confusing)
Everything--right on tram, nice to get out of Athens--easy to get into Athens, on seaside
For people planning heavy duty Athens tourism the tram (45 minutes)might be a bit long. We enjoyed the relaxing ride straight to Syntagma square
Actually the hotel staff were extremely friendly , professional and helpful.. on arrival following a tiring trip the receptionist( Stefanos ) went out his way to make the best arrangements and to answer all questions...he kept smiling and make the start of that 4- day stay fun.. I will sure stay again in this hotel when I go to Athens..eitan ola poli kala .suleiman
Situation Surclassement offert Piscine Excellent wifi
It was next to a beach, had a pleasant little clean pool, had sensible nice food options and very helpful staff.
Public travel times to Athens centre felt close to an hour and quite crowded. Not the hotel's fault. Breakfast won't quite suit the traditional Briitish but UK travellers should be used to this by now.
