Value for money; conveniently located; nice gym; beautiful view over the town of Athens and Acropolis from the top floor where we had breakfast. 5* hotel in Athens is 3* or 4* in Germany. A review of the star system in Greece is necessary. See also the many comments on the hotel websites about hotels in Athens. |

being close to the metro 'Victoria' station and relatively close to the centre, view from the roof / swimming pool I included info while booking for non -smoking room. however the whole corridor on the floor had constantly strong smell of nicotine, the same happend when the air con was switched on in the room (and loud aswell). hotel is located by very busy road -constantly, day and any time at night - lorries, scooters etc, very noisy |

The roof top swimming pool & view of Athens; the good buffet breakfast on the top floor dining room. Poor room allocation; given a smoking room when I specifically requested a non-smoking one. |

The breakfast and the rooftop pool/view were notable. The bathrooms had their heyday (marble abounded but it was definitely dated) as did the textiles in the rooms (dark, dreary, worn but formerly plush). Overall for the price we paid, staying in the older part of the property was a good deal. The room was adequately cleaned and supplied with toiletries, towels etc. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and for the rate, we would definitely recommend. Disclaimer: This was our first trip to Greece and the only luxury hotel we stayed in. It was the best hotel during our trip (Athens, Santorini, Crete). We would update the bedding, carpet and paint in the older part of the hotel. Consistent with other opinions: the bed was rather firm, WiFi/internet access was expensive and suboptimal. Hotel did not have (or we couldn't view) CNN in English which in my opinion is de rigeur in ANY "luxury" international hotel. |

The hotel was well situated, close to the metro and shopping areas. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were a good size with all the amenties you would expect from a 5 star hotel. |

A nice looking hotel with a fantastic view of the surroundings from the top roof! Wonderful breakfast and nice staff at the breakfast and in the lobby. Not very alert personnel at the top roof restaurant, lots of mistakes, the food was ok but costed more than it was worth! The beds were far to hard for all of us and that is the reason why we would not choose this hotel again even if our room was very good. The poolhours could be more generous. |

Reception staff were always very helpful. The pool was fantastic with amazing views of Athens as you swim. Breakfast was very good as was the pool side Italian night on Friday. Had a few minor issues with the maid service. Kept pestering us to clean the room and even asked us to leave the room so that she could clean when we had only just got back from a long hot walk.Perhaps this could have been organised better but at least they were diligent. |

The rooftop view of the Acropolis as well as the city of Athens. The breakfast was pretty good, even though I did not eat most of it, but it was a large spread. Location is not that close to Athens Center, about a 25 minute walk or 15 minute train ride (1 change at Omonia). At night area just felt moderately ok!. In the bathroom, found it difficult not to have water from the shower on the floor, and seemed to have some mold on the bath tub. |

Location is good, close to metro. Breakfast is also good. View from rooms and rooftop nice. Similarly to our stay at this hotel the week before they have tried to double charge us - this time in the restaurant - for the one meal we had there (besides the protion was also tiny compared to the price and other restaurants). The rooms are rather shabby for a hotel in this price range (eg; peeling paint, furniture with torn seats , etc). |

View from upper rooms and the rooftop terras is nice. Breakfast is very good. Rooms are very noisy from the street and definitely need a renovation as for their price they are rather used-looking. At checkout, they tried to double charge for rrom service. |
