Parthenon Hotel

Nothing, with exception to be within easy to reach the Souda port and Chania airport. The hotel is located above the Poseidon restaurant, owned by the same family that owns the hotel and is actually a few hundred meters from the ferry dock. The price was low (30 € per night)

Despite having booked the afternoon before we found the room in poor condition: the floor and the bathroom were very dirty and it was pretty obvious that it had not been cleaned after the previous guest pass or at most a sweep in the places of passage, but in corners or between the beds was full of hair and dirt. Another problem with the bathroom sink drain that had broken and flooded the floor. I have pointed out that the room was dirty and ask for it to be put right but, when we returned in the evening after dinner, the room was actually cleaner but the drain had not been repaired. The owners apologized, explaining that they did not understand the problem due to an imperfect knowledge of English (but I'm not even come up to take a look). The building overlooks an intersection where there are many bars and clubs, and there was confusion and noise until late.
