The Airotel Parthenon is in a great location for visiting the main archaeological sites /attractions that Athens has to offer. All are within a short walking distance from the hotel which is a great advantage when confronted with the high temperatures in the city.

You won't get any better for your money in Athens. This hotel is 2 minutes from all the things you go to Athens to see...the Parthenon, the Plaka, the new museum (which is fantastic), the market ect. Easy access from the airport by train is clean, safe, cheap (8 Euros) and a fun adventure. They put out a very decent hot and cold breakfast buffet which is included. Staff were very helpful in organizing anything we wanted tours, taxis, ferry ect. Everyone spoke English very well. The rooms were smallish but clean and comfortable. It's not fancy smancy but it exceeded out expectations (that's for sure).

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. We were in town for the marathon and the hotel staff could not have been more accomodating. There was a special pasta dinner prior to the race, an early breakfast for the runners, and we were able to shower after the race despite already checking out. The hotel definitely exceeded all expectations. The location was perfect for the acropolis and major sites. The staff was always available and very helpful. Overall an incredible value and wonderful experience, and I would definitely go back!

The location of Airotel Parthenon is in the heart of the city, vey close to Acropolis, Plaka and main touristic attractions. Hotel stuffs are very helpful. They helped us for all the needs, arranging the tours to different destinations to arranging the dinner from nearby restaurants and delivering at room when we were very tired after a very busy day. The breakfast is the best. Varieties of items and fantastic mouthwatering desserts. I shall love to stay in this hotel again and recommend my friends to choose this hotel. The rooms are very small and having very less space to move inside. Bathrooms are also very small.

It is a great location, right in the middle of all the main sights, in a good part of town near great restaurants/shopping. The breakfast buffet was really good and the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about what to do in the area. We had a balcony which we enjoyed and the room was clean. There is not much sound proofing between the hall and the rooms and you can hear other guests in the hallway.

This was the 6th time we have stayed at the Airotel Parthenon. You can't beat the location! It's ideal for visiting the Parthenon and the new Acropolis Museum is about 3 minutes away. Plaka and the flea market are within easy walking distance and we also walked through the National Gardens to some of the museums near Syntagma in about 20 mins. The hotel staff are friendly and extremely helpful, and the buffet breakfast is varied and offers excellent value (included in the room price). Rooms are clean and comfortable with fridge, tv, safe and adequate ensuite bathroom. Another bonus is that the hotel lets you leave your bags after checking out. Our bus didn't leave until early evening, so it was great to be able to leave our bags in a safe place while we manged to fit in some last-minute sightseeing. The only inconvenience we encountered was that there was no key for the safe in our room. However, in all fairness, the staff offered use of the safe at main reception and even said we could change to another room if necessary.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Giota from reception desk was especially kind providing an exceptional service helping us with navigation of the city, suggesting places to visit and restaurants to dine. We felt we're at home! Good full buffet breakfast was included in the price that was a big plus. Location of the hotel is just excellent as all attractions are in walking distance from it. The area is pretty quiet and near to the Plaka. Rooms are a bit small, I wish the bathroom was more spacious (there was no place to put hand towels except on the bar under the sink that wasn't convenient). Also when light is turn on in the bathroom the fan triggered creates an unwilling very noticeable noise. All that makes the hotel appear less than 4 stars one.

The location is perfect if you want to see the sights in just one or two days like we did. It so close to the Acropolis and the museum which was very helpful because of all the walking we did that day. Twice we were able to go back to the hotel to just sit for awhile, rest our feet and plan our next stops. There are many great restaurants right around the corner and the hotel staff were very helpful in answering all our questions, giving maps to the city, etc. The breakfast was also very good with plenty of options. Definitely would stay here again if ever back in Athens.

Great location - close to the ancient attractions. We had to leave at 5am to catch a ferry and they were nice enough to open the buffet for cereal.

We chose the Airotel Parthenon because of its central location and the fact that there is a Metro station within walking distance of the hotel. Our stay was very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and the staff were welcoming and very helpful. We would certainly stay there again on our next visit to Athens.

Extremely friendly and helpful personnel, we were given maps of Athens and information as soon as we checked in! Breakfast buffet had great variety of sweet and salty foods, as well as fresh juices, coffee and tea. The location of the hotel could not be better, it's in the tourist-friendly area of Plaka, just 200 meters from the Acropolis itself and 150 meters from the "Acropoli" metro station, which makes it easy to travel by metro from the airport to the hotel. Rooms were big and clean. Would definitely book this hotel again.

We found this hotel to be perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with an excellent maid service and a small but useful balcony. The choice of breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect for Athens with both metro and buses around the corner and the acropolis a mear stroll up the road. Also only a small stroll from the many tavernas and bars in the old Plaka district.

“This is the only hotel that serves fresh lightly sauteed mushrooms and real meat slices lightly grilled. Breakfast is not from "opening the tin" variety. The hotel that maybe 3 star with a 5-6 star breakfast. Please note that this is my experience Jan 2012. This is the best breakfast in the whole of my 6 weeks tour of europe with hubby and an 8 year old boy. Tour bus in front of hotel, airport bus 5mins walk from hotel and travel agent in the same hotel building.” Dr, Lebuh, Tunku Kudin, Gelugur, Penang |
