we booked hotel pelops but due to overbooking we were moved to another hotel, which was not up to the same standard, we were very disappointed as we researched the hotels and knew this would be perfect.Luckily we were able to move back to Pelops for our second night which ina way proved our choice, it was brilliant but just wished we could have settled in there for our stay. Your description of Pelops states 'complimentary breakfast' but confirmation invoice stated breakfast not included, we paid for breakfast at both hotel Neda and Pelops. Missing the first night.

The Greek/Australian family run hotel has been modernised and is very friendly conversing with people in Greek & English which is a plus. The breakfast and dinner offered is superb and they will go out of their way to ensure your stay is pleasurable and comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble.

The hotel is easy to find, quiet and comfortable, staff is welcoming and helpful, site of Olympia a short walk away, and a fine dinner by a roaring fire with a glass of delicious local wine set the tone for a brief but satisfying visit. Urbane proprietor Theo Spiliopoulos and his family are wonderful hosts, filled with useful information and local-area knowledge; it was a pleasure and a privilege to spend time with them. When next I am in Olympia I will certainly stay at Hotel Pelops again. They understand what a traveller needs.

The owners, sons and staff were extremely helpful and thoughtful. The food was excellent. The hotel rooms were very nice, modern and comfortable. Tea making capability in the room was very welcomed given this was the first hotel during our stay in Greece which provided that! Would certainly stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Olympia. It meets the expectations as described in Rick Steve's travels. Wonderful stay and thank you!

This is a newly renovated hotel with absolutely outstanding service from the Greek-Australian owners. They were extremely kind and helpful, witty and informative, and their family hotel was like a home from home for us. The internet was available through the lounge computer, which was easily accessible to us, traveling in February. The magnificent site of Olympia is witin walking distance.

Stayed 4 days and used the hotel as our base to explore surrounding area. Family run hotel and they were all very helpful with advice for day trips & restaurants. Tastefully furnished in quiet location with balcony. Lift & tea making facilities were great. Would have appreciated fruit at breakfast.....but loved the yoghurt.

Hotel Pelops - near to the Olympia site - was the best Greek hotel we've stayed in. Excellent room decor, furniture was really smart, and with a balcony on two sides. Bathroom was good and of fair size. Breakfast was included in the cost of just 50 euros - a real bargain - would highly recommend.

Hotel Pelops is an excellent choice for a stay in Olympia. Our room was very spacious and extremely clean. The breakfast was delicious and there was an ample selection of breakfast foods. The owners of the hotel were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We would happily stay in the hotel again and highly recommend it!

The service was awesome and he even pointed us in the right direction to eat dinner at an amazing restaraunt in town. Also, he let us know that we were allowed to use another hotel's very nice pool.

The friendly and helpful staff, the reasonably comfortable and clean room, the well designed and nicely decorated facilities, and the good location. We arrived exhausted after having some problems with our rental car and and we received calming words and later efficient help to continue our trip safely. Pelops offered us more than we could expect for the money. It is a great place.

Hotel is located on a little square, next to a large church. Our room was on the top floor overlooking the little square with french doors and a wrap around balcony. A nice little hotel, tastefully appointed and in a great location, just a few minutes walk to the archaeological site. Our only criticism was the fact that the double bed was two singles (with wooden edges) pushed together, which was a little uncomfortable.
