Pension Dafni  

Great location - very easy to find. Staff were superb - very friendly, welcoming, and also very helpful. Breakfast was very good.

Only one minor thing - no drinking / water glasses in the room. Quickly produced upon request.

Its a really scenic hotel, in a narrow street in beautiful Nafplion just under the mountain - the location could hardly be better. The room and beds were very comfortable and good value and the breakfast was great and better value than a restaurant (the owner gave us a deal for 3). It was really clean and everything worked well.

The bathroom was a little small, but everything in this scenic town is cramped. (Everything worked and was clean). You have to drive around a bit to find parking but the street was quiet enough to unpack the car at the door.

Stayed at Room 6...hptel is literally 100 meters away fro, the bus station. The room is overlooking a quiet courtyard. Rooms are carpeted. The balcony is huge. 2 entrances, the only hotel with a heater in the bathroom. Tv has cnn and also flatscreen. Fast wifi. Daily cleaning and new towels. Love it. Will come back. Restaurants and coffeeshops 50 meters away and the Palamidi is 55 meters away. Perfect.

We booked a special offer of 2 nights/70 euro which is excellent value for money for this hotel. The room made you feel like home with the small details such as the walls, paintings, carpets, decoration etc. Hot water all day.

Our room had curtain in the wc so we had to try not to throw the water out. Plexi glass would be ideal.

Phenomenal value. Beautiful room beautifully appointed. Can not wait to return. Thanks to all the staff especially Nella.

Very good location. Beds were great. Hospitality were great. They direct us, help with laugage and very friendly.

Problem with the hot water. Bearfast , as described, was minimal, so we took the vilage restorant

Loved the location in the Old Town of Nafplio and the ambience of the room, full of character and the lovely view across the town.

The owner was lovely and really made us feel welcome. He did not complain at all even though we had trouble with our flights and arrived at 2:30 am. Location is great, breakfast was very tasty, so all in all we were extremely happy. The complimentary bottle of wine was a lovely touch.

Location as it was not to far from Athens and right near the port with lots of restaurants within easy walking distance

Each of the rooms at Pension Dafni are individually designed and well thought out. Ours was at the top of the hotel and had great views over the town and surrounding hills. The breakfasts are great and the pension is really well positioned so that it is quiet but only a few minutes walk into the town. Loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed this pension and would certainly want to return, especially if a few details were attended to (see below). The provision of a kitchenette is useful and convenient. Nice balcony overlooking traditional Greek homes. The ambiance is charming and the place is ideally located.

As in many small hotels these days, one's comfort and convenience is compromised by a lack of attention to small details. The bedside reading lamps are totally inadequate, there are only two or three flimsy coathangers (how does the management think people are going to hang up clothes?), there is no shelf in the shower, the rails in the bathroom to hang up towels are inadequate (one of them was falling off the wall), etc. It is a shame that these minor annoyances are not dealt with so that one can come away feeling thoroughly positive about the experience.
